My husband, myself and our 3 boys stayed here earlier this year in June. Such a cute place to stay. The room was plenty big for all of us. So many things on property to keep our boys busy. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. There was a nice reading area next to the hot tub full of children's books. There were multiple sitting areas on the property for some nice quiet space. A short 'nature trail' went around the back of the property. The Feel Good Cafe just up the hill had a really yummy breakfast although not exactly the 'sit-down' kind of place we were expecting. Still, a very nice place. All-in-all, we really enjoyed our stay here. The one negative was that we did find hair on the pillows when we arrived. This is why I always bring pillow cases from home.

We stayed 2 nights at this cute and quaint hotel. It was quiet, and clean. We had free laundry detergent plus machines which was a huge relief after being on the road several weeks. The room was decorated really nice. They thought of everything. Fiona was so doggone sweet and helpful at checkin. Very soft spoken but her words were chosen carefully. She needs to be a cast member at Disney:). And the Feel Good Cafe is the perfect place to start the day. We loved the Bavarian Inn

Google
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The indoor and outdoor pools were both very nice. Loved the complimentary guest laundry, including detergent! The decor in all the pubic spaces was delightful, as was the on property cafe. The staff was friendly and helpful. While we weren't traveling with children, it is a great place for kids with lots of activities. We would definately stay here again.

Our first trip to South Dakota made even more special with our stay at the cozy Bavarian Inn. Friendly, courteous and attentive staff. Our room had quality comfy beds, coffee, small fridge and microwave.. The grounds are lovely with a European fitness trail! Love the outdoor corridors adorned with flowers. The Feel Good Cafe is right next door for all your coffee concoctions and breakfast needs. It’s a perfect location for the historic Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park and more. We would definitely return, beats a hotel stay!

Google
Clean, affordable & comfortable lodging near Crazy Horse memorial. Great amenities inc indoor & outdoor pools plus hot tub, pickleball court, corn hole, etc. Children’s book selection near indoor pool was adorable. Management is very helpful & friendly. Restaurant also served delicious breakfast options!

When you book you see the best photos of a place but it's usually not the same when you arrive. This place is more magical then the photos. The inn called to find our ETA and then had our room lights on, background music on the TV and temperature cozy! We order the bedtime milk and cookies, they deliver to your room in a cookie fairy cape and its the cutest. The pool and hot tub area are gorgeous and there are games and books for littles (or big littlest;)). The Cafe on-site is SO yummy and just as adorable as the inn. This place ranks up there with "Disney magical" people. I had no idea it would be this fantastic, I don't want to stay anywhere else when I come to South Dakota from now on.

Google
We really enjoyed our stay here. We came for a quick family vacation with our two young children. This is a great place to stay if you have kids - there is so much for them to do (indoor pool, outdoor pool, pickleball, play areas, etc.). The staff was all extremely welcoming. The free laundry was a great perk. The room had a real fridge (not a beverage cooler) with a little freezer which was perfect for freezing water bottles for our cooler. There are just so many "little touches" that show the owners really think about their guests and want to provide a welcoming, fun, and comfortable experience. The rooms themselves are not anything exceptional - but the beds are very comfortable and the room was clean! We would definitely stay here again.

A shouldn’t miss hotel. I am|Lucky to travel for around four months a year and hands down this is one of the best places Including 5 star hotels I have stayed at. From the flowers to the toddler books displayed near the hot tub, all have been carefully curated for the guests stay. If you have children there are books, games, playhouse, musical flowers etc. There are 2 pools a walkway pickle ball courts and numerous spots to relax. An incredible amount of thought has gone into the place. Outstanding.

Yelp
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We are a family of five with little kids and this has been our favorite place we have stayed on our many trips. Whether you are a retired couple, family, or young honeymooners- this place is a great place to stay in Custer. The staff was so friendly. There were so many family-centered activities to be outside and enjoy and we tried to take advantage of all of It! Outdoor and indoor pools, a full wall of board and card games and books, an outdoor fire pit setting to enjoy, chalk and jump ropes, a nice outdoor walking trail in nature, ball courts with balls. Our absolute favorite was ordering the cookies and milk bedtime delivery. This was something we could surprise our little kids with that they thought was so magical. Thank you for helping us build such special family memories!!

Yelp
Loved the stay there! So much activities and amenities for kids ; only downside not a safe walk to city downtown

Yelp
Highly recommend the Bavarian Inn. Reservation process was superb, checkin was friendly and efficient. Multiple text messages prior to and after checking in. Totally responsive to our needs. Room was not huge, but well appointed and super clean. I mean Lutheran German clean if you know what I mean. They had a very cool process for replenishing the room which we appreciated. Site has indoor and outdoor pools, and plenty of seating areas to curl up with a book or just kick back. The thing we noticed most was the place was full every night. Totally sold out. We made reservations 6+ months ago during their off season. Everything worked out great. You can tell the owners have great pride in the property. It is Bavarian quaint and nicely kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the location was perfect and service was superb.

Yelp
The room was cute and clean. The front desk girl needs a lot more training. It wasn't very quiet. It's ok for one night.

Yelp
Bavarian in is the friendliest and coziest place we've ever stayed... From the minute, we checked in until the minute we checked out, we felt very well taken care of . Our room was just perfect. It was very clean and it had everything we needed. ... we thoroughly enjoyed the chairs in front of our room because we enjoyed sitting outside.. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool, the indoor pool, and the hot tub. . One of the best little places we enjoyed was the fire pit down in the nook. I would be remiss if I didn't mention "cookie time".. every day from 3:30 to 4:30, in the lobby you can enjoy warm, chocolate chip cookies, and cold milk.. what a treat ! We would definitely stay here again and again and again

Julie H.

Yelp
THis is an older hotel but it is kept up very well and is very clean. Fiona at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. Many activies on site and a nice cafe for breakfast or lunch available. Great place for families. I would stay here again.

Stuart G.

Yelp
Rooms were nice and clean. Views were excellent. Lots of activities and the staff were great at their jobs and really great to be around. The rooms, price and vibes here all get excellent marks Also, for $10 they will deliver warm chocolate chip cookies and cold milk to your room in the evening. If you are staying in the area, staying here is an awesome decision.
google avatar

Jason W.

Yelp
Great rooms with comfortable beds. Management exceptionally nice and informative. Hot tub was only lukewarm but rest of facilities were excellent for price.
google avatar

Annie A.

Yelp
This place was so amazing . It had everything for kids and better yet, the best stay ever. They gave us breakfast and free cookies at night. The hotel service was so nice and they came to pick up our towels for us. They even had a pool with heating and a sauna. This was definitely the experience I was hoping for. Best hotel ever.

Yelp
We flew into Rapid City and drove about 45 miles to the Bavarian Inn. "Oh Bavarian Inn how do I love thee? Let me count the ways; - Three minutes from Crazyhorse Memorial - Five minutes from the town of Custer - Five minutes from Custer State Park - 15 minutes from Mount Rushmore - 30 minutes from ALPINE SLIDE AT RUSHMORE TRAMWAY ADVENTURES (Keystone) & Rush Mountain Adventure Park - FREE (you heard right) FREE Postcards! And I wrote BOATLOADS of them. . . Every. Day. I think they heaved a sigh of relief when we left! Lol! WHY? WHY, did I do THAT! Because I want everyone to know about this FABULOUS FAMILY AREA! THAT'S WHY! :) -The staff at the Bavarian Inn. The most accommodating, generous, CHEERFUL managers and staff EVER! That alone is worth five stars! It was the perfect home-base to branch out from, to everything else we wanted to do! We had a GREAT TIME!
google avatar

Chelsea W.

Yelp
What a delight! I spotted this one via Yelp, and it lived up to all of the positive comments. We had an easy, friendly checkin with chocolate chip cookies and milk. They have many amenities including an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis court, laundry facilities and a restaurant for breakfast. Our room was one of the deluxe rooms, with a lovely balcony. We had a drink and snacks there in the evening as we discussed the next few days. The room was very clean, well maintained. Pleasant sleeping experience. We will stop in again when we visit again! Exceptional stay!!! Thank you, Bavarian Inn for making us feel comfortable and "at home"

Domenic D.

Yelp
This place is perfect. Indoor pool Spa is wonderful. Rooms very clean. Staff very nice! Visit the little "feel good cafe" next door for a great coffee and bites

Yelp
Dirty and unsanitary! We were SO excited to stay here bc of the advertised ambiance and free laundry but were quickly and repeatedly disappointed. Our group checked into two rooms just before the office closed at 10. We brought our stuff upstairs, started unpacking and I found FINGERNAILS all over the vanity. Like a previous guest stood at the sink and clipped their nails. The office was closed so I had to clean up someone else's fingernails before using the vanity. I then climbed into bed only to feel granules in the sheets. We pulled the covers back and found dirt and hair inside the bed! It gets worse. The next morning I reported our experience to the front desk. They were apologetic and the attendant ordered a "deep clean and sanitize" service for our room. She said the owner would double check our room was clean afterwards so we left for the day feeling better. BUT, when we got back, I went to take a shower and there were curly hairs and melted soap stuck to the floor of the tub and a lost fingernail behind the faucet. We checked the bathroom of our second room and it also had hair in the tub, but none of us had used it. AGAIN we alerted the front desk. They offered to send someone to clean right then, which we accepted. The cleaner did not wear a mask in our rooms and when they finished re-re-cleaning my bathroom there was STILL hair in the tub. While discussing how unacceptable the conditions of our stay were with the evening attendant (Dana) I let them know 1 out of the 4 in-room provided coffee to-go cups was individually wrapped. The other 3 were totally unwrapped. The Dana said "that's how they came," but had no reply when I pointed out how inconsistent and unsanitary that was. Instead of a reduced rate for us having to clean hair and fingernails of previous guests Dana offered us milk and cookies. I kind of laughed, but she was serious. We declined. If *this* is how the Bavarian Inn cleans where people can see how gross is it behind the scenes? We declined (this is one of their add-on services for $9). I wish we could have moved to another hotel, but none could accommodate our group for the number of days we intended to stay on such short notice. I asked another guest about the condition of their room and we both agreed = this place is not very clean, but cute. It's like a hunting lodge you pay a lot of money for but have to bring your own sheets and clean before you use everything. With a "beautiful view" of the the side of a highway.

Yelp
1.A/C was perfect and responsive to setpoints 2.Pillows were air soft comfortable 3.King Size great suits 6'4" me. 4.Fridge set perfect to fast chill beers 5. Staff helpful and always smiling & responsive 6. Beautiful setting & surroundings 7. Wi-Fi fast & super responsive. Never a lag. 8.Close enough to town but far away enough to be quiet.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place as a place to stay if you visit the black hills. Super great rooms with cozy beds. Played some basketball and pickle ball which was a lot of fun and enjoyed some time in the hammocks too. Enjoyed a night on the patio with a fire and they bought us home made cookies. Such a wonderful experience and I would love to come stay here again!

Yelp
My stay at Bavarian Inn was absolutely fantastic!!! The pool was very warm and it even had goggles and pool toys for everyone to use. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff were also super nice. The food at the cafe had so many unique dishes, and everything I ate there was to die for. I absolutely LOVED my stay at Bavarian Inn, 5/5 would definately recommend!!!!!

Kathy F.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay. Check-in was a breeze. The room was very clean, the bed was amazingly comfortable, it was nice and quiet. The grounds were well kept and so pretty. Everything felt welcoming and friendly. We loved our stay!

Yelp
This pace is very close to downtown Custer, (5minute drive) but definitely not walkable to the downtown area. Room was very comfortable and parking is plentiful. I didn't use them, but there were coin operated washing and drying machines. Check in was easy, friendly and quick.

Alissa S.

Yelp
I am not even sure where to start with how great this place is. I would certainly describe it as a boutique hotel that really appeals to my interest and not having every hotel experience being the same. They put a lot of great care and thought into the small details that make Hotel stay feel more like home. From providing a very welcoming check in to having the lights turned on, the AC turned down, and your TV turned to calming music when you come in your room really is the icing on the cake. The bed was very comfortable. It is not a new property, but you can tell there's been great care put into the updating. And for those on longer road trips, you really enjoy the fact that they have free laundry and they even provide the powder and dryer sheets. If you wake up the next morning, the Feel Good cafe is associated with the Hotel and just Next Door. They have great eats and it is very adorable. I'm very impressed and I will absolutely stay here in the future.

Yelp
The Bavarian Inn Black Hills is a super cute place to stay in Custer. It's a short drive to all things Custer State Park. There's and indoor as outdoor pool, outdoor patio, tennis courts, and walking trails. The rooms are simple but the amenities are nice. I loved being able to order breakfast, snacks, and drinks and have them delivered wherever I was. They offered early morning meditation on the weekend while I was there. I think this is a great place for both couples and families. They did overcharge me and I'm still trying to get that figured out so hopefully they will be nice about it. I would stay here again.

Elinton L.

Yelp
This is such a cute place to stay! A lot of activities and amenities, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the room itself was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The inn grounds itself was clean and nice to walk around on for some fresh air. The staff provide some good information for the area including near urgent care centers just in case. It's also pet friendly which is a plus. Would definitely stay again!

Yelp
We booked Bavarian Inn the night before our arrival to Custer. Nick at the front desk was so wonderful in helping with check in and recommending local spots for dinner (Custer Beacon with live music was awesome!) as well as activities for the following day. We forgot a wine opener and he ran one up to our room immediately after we called the front desk. Our room was nice and clean and very spacious. You can tell the Inn has history (dents on door frames, etc.) but I think it adds to the charm. The amenities were also wonderful, we enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi as well as the pickle ball and basketball courts. Nick's hospitality and the central location of the Inn really made our visit a 5 star experience. We can't wait to return.

Yelp
Delightful independently run inn with charming touches. Convenient location and friendly staff. Nice rooms and a great breakfast included. Pancake making machines! And a coffee machine that makes great decaf espresso. Highly recommended.

Jane S.

Yelp
The room was clean, comfortable and lovely. The people were so very nice. The cafe was perfect! The pools were inviting. It's convenient to many places AND is a place to stay in and enjoy the amenities. Truly, a wonderful place to stay.

Ms. F.

Yelp
Super cute. Nice people running this older but updated Inn. It has all the amenities including being dog friendly, indoor and outdoor pools. Tennis pickle ball and a restaurant for breakfast. They were kind enough to put my postcards in the mail and even offered stamps. Old fashioned fun and kindness.

Kevin S.

Yelp
Clean, modern rooms and all-around a great property. Front desk was super friendly at check-in, and when I left my travel pillow in the room they called me to let me know and even facilitated shipping it back to me so I didn't have to come all the way back as we were already on the road to our next location. Coolest perk: they have postcards that you can fill out and they will put a stamp on it and mail. Can't believe more places don't do that - such an incredible gesture! Highly recommend if staying in the area!
google avatar

Harold L.

Yelp
Really a hidden gem! Extremely clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's so pretty enough to be a local attraction itself. I would definitely stay here again.
google avatar

Maria D.

Yelp
What a true and unexpected delight this place turned out to be. Everyone is very kind, the grounds are beautiful with flowers everywhere. Per the name, this is a German inspired hotel. Super clean and well done. The rooms are beautifully thought out, clean and comfortable. They have the Feel Good Café that opens till 11:00 am with German pastries, croissant sandwiches, bowls and burritos. All very fresh and delicious. They also have 2 heated pools (one indoors and one outdoors), a tênis and a half basketball court. It's very family friendly. We were really glad we chose here instead of the common brand hotels.
google avatar

Tarrah T.

Yelp
South Dakota was our only out-of-state trip this summer, and we could not have been happier with our stay at the Bavarian Inn! We wished we had booked all our nights here instead of traveling on to Rapid City! This place was beyond cute - super vintage, and yet very updated decor. I felt somewhat like I was inside a Pinterest page :). The lobby is incredibly welcoming, both with the staff and the assortment of games (and cookies!). There are extra, thoughtful touches everywhere! The pools were great - so nice to have both indoor and outdoor. And the little hidden patio areas were adorable! And then the cafe outside - my husband's favorite meals of the whole trip! We even stopped on our way back through after having been in Rapid City just to eat there again! Can't wait to go back after Covid to check out the inn's pancake breakfast!
google avatar

Carolyn D.

Yelp
Quaint but has lovely amenities located throughout the property. Very clean, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Great value for the rate. They offer free postcards and mailing for guests. Highly recommend!!

Allison N.

Yelp
Great place to stay! Clean, quaint, cute charm throughout. We loved every part of this place from the cookie happy hour to the basketball court to the game room. Our room was clean and not a detail was overlooked. We would definitely stay here again!
google avatar

Linda R.

Yelp
What a gem of a place and happened to be the least expensive place on our long road trip! The people are friendly, fresh cookies and lots of board and other games to just use in your room or on the grounds. This is very close to Custer State Park too! It has a rustic, quaint charm not available in chain hotels. Wild turkeys meandering through just top off the experience!

Joe S.

Yelp
Wow. That's the only word that captures the attention to detail that the Bavarian Inn team offers. Seriously, every detail of this place is carefully and thoughtfully curated. The rooms are clean and extremely well accessorized. I don't normally care about the little details - I travel for work and a room is a room - but it was so comfortable, warm and accommodating. I felt like I was at my rich aunts house (if I had one). The people working here are so friendly and nice. An entirely different level of service. Good people. And they can bake as well. The complementary home baked cookie was fantastic. Overall 110 out of 100. Great job team Bavarian Inn. Keep it up and be proud of the great place you make awesome for those traveling.

Mary Anne P.

Yelp
The rooms are old. Beds and floors creak. Air conditioner is old and irritating. Mattresses old and uncomfortable. Cafe isn't a cafe...more of a coffee bakery. I don't understand the good reviews. We stayed there based on reviews. Big mistake!
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
We spent 5 nights here, and I would have loved to stay longer. It is such a cute and special independent little place. Very clean with comfortable beds. The indoor and outdoor pools were great, with wonderfully soft and full towels provided. Cookies and milk in the lobby each afternoon and a delicious little breakfast cafe off to the side. Pickle ball, giant cheese, giant connect 4 and all the board games you and your family could want. Truly a special place I would recommend to anyone.
google avatar

Tamara H.

Yelp
The Bavarian Inn welcomes you from the road, it's idyllic, picturesque, clean, has a most positive relaxing ambiance and boasts a friendly staff that treats you like a member of the family.

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp. Stayed 2 nights while seeing Rushmore and other tourist spots. Place is clean, staff is super friendly, the place definitely has a lot of character which is what we wanted. We didn't want a chain hotel. They have an indoor pool and hot tub. They have an outdoor pool and tennis court and par course. The supply family games. They serve a free pancake breakfast with toppings. They serve cookies in the afternoon. Our room was large and clean. They have coin laundry machines which are inexpensive. They even have an electric car charger, how awesome and forward thinking is that? Did I mention the friendly staff? They really are nice. The only things that I didn't really like was that their beds were too soft. My hubby and I kept rolling towards each other in the middle of the bed. Also because it has character, the rooms are not modern looking enough for my taste. They are painted a dark color with dark wood grain doors. There are also repairs that need to be done properly. See pics. Had to change this review from a 4 stars to 2 stars because I found mold all over the bottom of their shower curtain. Such a bummer because everything else was good and I love to support family businesses but not when they compromise my kids' health.
google avatar

Dawn P.

Yelp
I wish I could give this little gem more stars!! The amenities are AMAZING! Great indoor pool and hot tub, the cutest indoor and outdoor patio areas, clean grounds, a hammock and outdoor area for the kids. There's a pancake bar with various cereals, milk, orange juice and coffee in the morning. A hot chocolate bar with a cart of apples, and fresh cookies served daily. The rooms are very clean and partially modernized (decor, TV). The bathroom is not, nor the sink area, but again very clean and not bothersome whatsoever. We will most definitely stay here again when we return to the area. We couldn't be more pleased!
google avatar

Karen K.

Yelp
Best motel ever! Wonderful, caring staff, clean, cheerful rooms, WiFi, laundry with free detergent, excellent coffee/pastry/breakfast place right on the premises. Cappuccino was the best coffee I've had on this 2 week vacation. The most outstanding thing is that there is so much for the kiddos to do here: indoor swimming pool, swings, tennis and basketball courts, large people-sized chess and Connect 4 set, a free video game that the kids loved (Eat the Centipede?), grass to run around on, a playhouse, monkey bars...Highly recommend. Very close to town too.
google avatar

Jamie B.

Yelp
This place is an absolute gem!!! We took a road trip from Texas with no reservations and booked as we happened upon places. We are traveling with our senior pug and we got a beautiful first floor room right near a grassy area so she can go out to potty easily. The room is wonderfully appointed and we looked forward to spending time in our room. We had a double queen deluxe room, the beds are incredibly comfortable. Everything is very zen and it's a lovely, peaceful place!

Yelp
I thought everything about this place was great. I wish I could have spent more time here. I travelled to Custer with my family to see the National Parks. This was the perfect location. It's not far from Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, etc. The hotel and accommodations are perfect. Indoor/ outdoor pools, tennis courts, seating areas outside, and area to walk the dog. If and when I travel back to the Black Hills this will be the place I stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The scenery is gorgeous. The hotel is clean and feels comfortable. Thank you to everyone!

Katie R.

Yelp
If we could give this place 10 stars, we would! First, the decor was stunning and the accessibility to everything was so appreciated. They truly have everything you can think of and are perfectly kid friendly -- the pool was nice and warm, and if it wasn't raining, we would've used the basketball/tennis/pickle ball courts too! Above all, the service was phenomenal; probably the best we've ever experienced. The kids wished we could stay longer! The staff really has hospitality mastered. If you're coming to the Black Hills, stay here!

Lydia W.

Yelp
So much nicer than a standard hotel. The room was clean and spacious.. Very close to the Black hills forest, Custer state park and Mount Rushmore. Very homey kind of hotel with a lovely in door pool and hot tub. There was also an out door seating area with a fire pit, an out door pool, tennis courts and a children's play ground. Very peaceful place with friendly staff.

Megan N.

Yelp
We loved this place! Stayed for just one night but would be loved to stay longer. The whole family loved all the amenities and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The cafe had good breakfast and was super charming. Would definitely stay here again!

Lauren D.

Yelp
Took a vacation to the Black Hills in May and made the Bavarian Inn our home base. Could not ask for a better home away from home. Clean and happy rooms, a great location and wonderful staff. Also the restaurant on the premises served delicious breakfasts and was especially convenient with early morning hours since we liked to get a jump start on the day. If you are planning a trip to the Black Hills, we highly recommend staying at the Bavarian Inn.

Carol G.

Yelp
Disappointed in this place. Nicely renovated, comfortable bed, but that's about it. Shower hit us in the middle of the back, obviously not set up for any guest over 5'5". NONE of the first floor rooms have a window that opens, which is bad for those who like fresh air and hate very loud obnoxious air conditioners.

Yelp
I've traveled a LOT in my life and stayed at plenty of (very) high end hotels and resorts. Since we came back, I've struggled to remember one better than the Bavarian Inn - it's right there with the Surf and Sand in Laguna Beach if not edging it out as I think about it more. Best summary I can give: we were originally going to stay one night but we ended up staying three and wished we did longer. Why? 1. Charm. It's hard to sum this up, but the Bavarian Inn is a charming relaxing place with a hell of a good vibe to it. It's unique in an endearing way from the positive quotes scattered around to the fun decor outside. It's not a cookie cutter chain in the best way. 2. Staff: this is tied for number 1. I've stayed plenty of places with friendly staff who appear friendly, but you get it - they're doing their job. Here they are genuinely friendly and want to help without you even asking. It's a weird differentiation but if you get it - you know what I'm talking about. 3. Location: its nestled in a beautiful spot in the Black Hills. Grounds are extremely well kept and in Custer it's spot in the middle of the Black Hills. 4. Amenities/Room: cookie happy hour and a pancake bar in the morning. Two pools, tennis courts (with nice loaner racquets), basketball hoop with balls provided, laundry, and a comfortable lounge area. The room? Fantastic. Sure the building may have been around for awhile but our room was extremely tastefully modernized with beds that were perfectly comfortable. Spacious, quiet, and a great view. 5. The Details: this is the little stuff that makes you know they actually care. Swedish rubber ducky in the bathroom, pancake machines that aren't those gross and will burn your kids units at the chains. Loaner equipment that isn't crap. Restaurant suggestions that are actually good. And the owners always around with smiles on your faces welcoming and asking about your stay. Basically I could go on for hours but we thoroughly enjoyed this spot and our time there. We will be back for sure, this will be the only spot we will stay in the black hills from now on.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! The flowers everywhere were just gorgeous. Our room was comfortable and very charming. We were welcomed by a "towel owl" on the bed. The complimentary essentials were different from the normal and the room was very clean and comfortable. The pancake breakfast was amazing with a great combination of toppings as well as cereal and granola. They also have swings and hammocks outside to relax in,

Yelp
Cute hotel in Custer. Just outside the main Street. They are also pet friendly. Stayed for two nights. Clean rooms, heated pools and nice breakfast. Very near to Mount Rushmore and Custer state park
