We came here for a week before going to The Magdalena Grande Beach 4 star in Tobago (you can ead my review for there on this site).||We were initially booked in for The Inn side (which apparently had the noisy night club behind it) and upon arrival were directed to the main hotel to a first floor room overlooking a pool behind the main pool area. What bliss, hardly anyone there during our stay and felt like it waS our private pool We wanted a really chilled holiday and this is what we got. Staff were always smiling and service was good. Cocktails and bottled beer was very good but they could do with beer being on tap. Room was comfortable. had a coffee percolator (replenished daily) in there which was a life saver as I don't like the cheap nasty nescafe satches (which were supplied in 4 star Magdalena Grande Beach Resort). Even a microwave in a little self contained kitchen was a bonus but never used. There wasn't much entertainment but that didn't bother us. Some staff had very good voices on the karaoke. Overall, a great experience and would come back.||Sometimes, smaller is better as the whole experience was by far a better holiday than the 4. star Magdalena we stayed in Tobago, which in my view, was pretty dire. There was a 2 hour journey to an from che airport which certainly was an experience, especialy the one to the hotel.||We would definitely come back here, even for 2 weeks because we were so chilled out. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same for the other part of our holiday Magdalena Grande Beach Resort in Tabago. Absolutely nothing Grande about it.||We did go out to shops and a few bars outside the hotel and felt totally safe.||Thanks to all the staff who made our stay memorable Wil see you again

From the moment I entered bay gardens hotel, I was greeted with smiles and friendly faces, I felt welcomed. The rooms were clean, the outside environment was also clean, it was great having the shuttle to take you to the beach and back. Breakfast was good, the staff was organised and knew what they were doing. The general manager was very kind and helpful.I would definitely come back here on holiday.

I stayed at Bay Gardens Hotel in Rodney Bay for 3 nights in August with my partner. ||Location:|Location of hotel is fantastic, 5 minute walk to the shopping malls and restaurants in Rodney Bay. ||You can use the facilities of the sister hotel Bay Gardens Beach Resort and the hotel puts on a free shuttle bus to take you there. It’s right on Reduit beach with free sun loungers and umbrellas, a large pool, water sports and restaurant. It’s near the inflatable water park. ||Fantastic location. ||Hotel facilities:|3 swimming pools, the main one near reception is nice, but quite small and can get crowded and noisy with families. There are 2 larger pools hidden towards the back of the hotel that we only found out about on the day we were leaving. ||Hotel provides pool towels which can be changed as often as you want. ||There is a nice pool bar serving cocktails and a hotel restaurant. It did get very busy in there. Breakfast and dinner were nice but quite expensive and there are many other cheaper options outside the hotel. ||Room was a superior room with a kitchenette, microwave, fridge, table and chairs, sofa and large bed. It also had a nice TV. The bathroom was ok but very basic and one day the cleaner said there were no clean towels to give us and we would have to wait until later when the laundry finished. ||Staff were friendly and helpful. ||Overall I liked Bay Gardens and would recommend it for a short stay if you want to be close to the centre of Rodney Bay and also have a beach option. ||We used their hotel taxi service to go to Gros Islet street party which is just over 5 minutes away. Great taxi service. ||There is a car park at the hotel too which is useful for those hiring a car.

My experience there was spectacular and could not be better. For breakfast I ate my belly to full. I am not lying if I say I gained 5 pound. There is quite a variety to eat. I find the staff was friendly. And the pools are fun. I also appreciate the fact that there is a shuttle to drive you to and from the different hotel locations.

I work at Crane Resort Barbados so I was expecting basically the same standards or just as close to the standards we have there, than the experience I had at Bay Gardens St Lucia.. so many issues, ranging from the extra long wait after checking in way before 4pm ( and being in the industry, i know sometimes it's extremely hard to have rooms ready by check in times) , so some of my family members didn't get a room until after 6pm (they were credited EC$50 to the room because of the wait). Then later in the night bugs was in my niece room,so I insisted on a room change at front desk, which they did, but to a 1 bedroom, i think it was mango path room 119, which front desk said, the next day a sofa bed would be made up to have back 2 beds after paying for double occupancy (which never happened), so both 20y/o young adults had to share a bed, because no one saw the need to make the adjustments for the room. Workers was not friendly at all, and we had to be continuously asking for bath mats, at one point dirty wash cloths was hang back up in the room.. I asked the room attendant for fresh ones and she stated her supervisor will put them in, i told her we will be going back out the room( because we had activities planned out, obviously cause we came to tour the island), she repeated herself again, i asked if i could atleast get an extra towel so i could use it temporarily as a mat until i could get one, she said again, her supervisor will put it in the room, so frustrating.............. then the last day of stay, a room attendant stole U$180 from my niece room, and we got no reimbursement.. we were told the room attendant had been working there a while (so I took it to mean that they clearly didn't believe my niece, but if we were of a different ethnicity, maybe she would have been reimbursed), and the room attendant only made the bed in the room and never even bothered to clean.. but she joyful walked away with my niece hard earned vacation money she saved up, which was in her bag and not even on a counter for them to assume it was a tip.. I would advise anyone to be cautious going to the hotel.. it's a convenient hotel since Rodney Bay is nearby, however if I was to return I would never stay there again!!! I'm still extremely angry about the theft and overall experience. 1 lady was almost always cheerful and friendly, with an infectious smile ,I don't remember her name, but we bought the overpriced snacks from the hotel because of her lol , I made sure to give her a tip, just for actually being the only one to make me feel welcomed! My 1st 2 days of stay I left a tip also, but I stopped because things as simple as bath towels, hand towels, washcloths and bath mats was almost never put into the rooms .. I stayed on Pineapple path inside room 129 (I hope management sees this and make some much needed changes to simple amenities and dishonest workers) .. We stayed at the hotel July 4th 2025 - July 8th 2025, we left the hotel in the very early morning on July 8th . We chose this hotel based on tik tok,and I'm annoyed because I didn't get the type of service based on the multiple social media post we looked through to help us make the unfortunate decision to book the hotel.

My husband and I along with our daughter and partner stayed in early June 2025. We had an amazing experience staying at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating to our needs. My daughter celebrated her birthday while we were there and the restaurant staff they made her birthday feel so special, they had decorated a special table with a Birthday Banner and tea lights shaped like a crown (they knew probably that she was our little princess), and though I believe they do this for other guests, just the thought that they put into it made this whole experience even better. The cleaning staff and grounds crew were all just approachable and took the time to speak with us ask

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with my recent stay at your resort, which fell significantly short of expectations based on the details provided online at the time of booking.Prior to confirming our reservation, I carefully reviewed the property’s website, including the listed amenities and services available at an additional cost. Upon arrival, I encountered a number of dissatisfied guests voicing concerns regarding the food service—an initial red flag. I was checked in by the hotel manager at the front desk, where I inquired about dinner reservations, referencing the amenities section that specifically mentioned dining services. I was informed that only breakfast was included with our room rate. Given the busy atmosphere at the front desk, I accepted the explanation without further clarification. As we proceeded to our room, the bellman instructed us to follow behind him and two other groups of guests, then left us at an unfamiliar location without any guidance—despite our unfamiliarity with the property. This lack of professionalism was disconcerting.Upon entering the room, it was immediately apparent that it did not match the images and quality advertised online. I contacted the hotel manager to express my concern about the absence of a dinner inclusion. She explained that meals were offered à la carte and not complimentary, despite the website listing a restaurant under "amenities." This discrepancy felt misleading, particularly as she later offered to upgrade our package for an additional fee, which she said could be discounted. This situation was especially frustrating as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. We were forced to leave the resort to find dinner at a nearby restaurant, which impacted our experience significantly. The issues continued upon returning to the room:- Only six packets of milk were available in the refrigerator.- The television was inoperable.- The shower caused extensive water leakage across the floor.- The bathtub was rusted.- We observed insect activity in the washroom. The next morning, we attended breakfast at 8:00 AM only to find the food quality unacceptable. The experience was so disappointing that we checked out by 9:20 AM—well before our scheduled departure time.At no point during check-out were we asked about our stay or offered any resolution for the numerous concerns raised. The overall experience was unacceptable for a resort of your claimed standards.I trust this feedback will be taken seriously and prompt necessary improvements in your operations, customer service, and transparency in online advertising.

Paid for deluxe room ended up with standard even though i asked. It's only later i was talking to someone who paid for a standard and got a standard which was exactly the same as ours. Food was nice even though nothing like on the pictures they put up. Made a request for something 4 times it never happened.
