We enjoyed a 2night stay here. Although we arrived late & it was a bit of a surprise, Liz was kind & accommodating. The following morning, we spoke with Andy to pay, & he was also very helpful. They were delightful, & nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The view was outstanding, & the facilities were excellent. It was a 10 min walk to the first beach & a 40 min walk to Looe town centre.

We’ve been coming here for over twenty years and it just gets better and better. Now breakfast restaurant which served a delicious full English. All staff were great but Neil and his wife the hostesses with the most. Neil works day and night what a trouper. Spent two weeks this year, next year will be three. Lovely fish n chips, pizza and all. Well done Bay View

One of the nicest campsites I’ve ever stayed on. Booked same day as I was walking a stretch of the SW Coast Path (which runs right past the entrance to here), and I couldn’t get a more friendly welcome when I eventually got here after a 15 hour day. Facilities are superb, absolutely loved the showers (a proper jet!), and the location is amazing. Even with a bit of a sea mist I had a stunning view across Looe and Looe Island. It’s a shame I can only give 5 stars as I’d give more if I could.

A wonderful Lady runs this site, if you're not careful she'll keep you talking for an hour but she's a gem. On top of a hill, windy when we were there, but you get great views!! The facilities could do with upgrading but clean and functional. If I do the SWCP I would stay here again.

A great campsite with plenty of room. The facilities are great, and it's nice to have a shower that doesn't require feeding £1 coins.|We were greeted by Pip the Border collie, absolutely gorgeous and then the owner, who again was lovely and made us feel very welcome.|If you like walking, Looe is about a 40-minute walk along the coast path or if you want to drive it's about 20 minutes.|Warning BOOK EARLY if you want to eat in Looe.|Completely recommended, especially if you want peace and quiet.

Great campsite with excellent views and a seamless check-in process. We loved staying here and we’re going back this weekend! Short walk to Millendreath beach and a short drive to Looe. A huge thank you to Andy for being so accommodating - highly recommend this campsite!

Absolutely fantastic location and such a welcoming owner. She is genuinely the loveliest host you could get. She even offered to open her on site shop for us as we were a late arrival. The view is breath taking and the lawns are kept to the highest standard. The only small niggle is the quality of the toilets. They were beginning to look a little tired and perhaps not the most welcoming toilet. The showers were very clean though. Would I return. A 100 percent yes. Highly recommend!

Not sure how this site is rated so highly. We stayed here for three nights in a pod. The pod was very spacious but had cobwebs on the roof, had it's own water tap and view was stunning. The facilities were the worst I've ever had to use on a site, the toilets weren't bad but the trough style sink was filthy with toothpaste all over them, the single sink was also filthy. The showers were extremely dirty and it was obvious they hadn't been cleaned in months. Didn't use the washing up facilities as they were dirty. In the time we stayed nothing was cleaned. Met Liz (owner) on arrival but did not see the site manager Andy. I felt that the owner of this site is happy to take your money but has no respect for her guest's due to the disgusting state of the facilities. It's such a shame as the views are stunning but the views are not worth staying at this site.
