Bay View Suites Paradise Island

This place was amazing and perfect for a family holidays. Staff were incredibly friendly, we LOVED Yunès and all of her colleagues. There is security 24/7 and the location is all gated so it is pretty safe, there are two pools that were really clean (I read a review saying they were not and I dont understand it, Ive seen staff coming to clean the pools regularly) and they freely rent tennis racks and balls so you can play on the tennis court. The room was also very clean. It could use a little bit of love (only 2 stoves out of 4 were working, the hot water is unstable) but for the price you pay I dont think it could be any better. It is well located, walking distance to a small grocery shop, the beach, and the Atlantis Marina (lots of cute little restaurants). The location is very cute too with lots of palm trees and flowers. The gym is closed since 2023 from what I read and you cannot expect the mini mart or restaurant to be open as they do not open everyday. Apart from that, there is nothing more we could have asked for. Thank you for this amazing stay. Would 100% rebook.

I am a longer term resident than mere holiday or business trip. I love it here, the service is very good, the complex is quiet and homely. There are a number of swimming pools that are well maintained and a tennis court, which I still have to try. There is a laundromat service, you need quarters for that, and there is a gym room, however it is inoperative at the moment. You will enjoy the stay for sure.

Worse experience, 2nd time staying there. The lady in the office had the worst attitude for no reason. I guess I “bothered” her by informing her the safe is not working, noise outside my window until up to 2am, tub dirty at check in & tv not working. The guy that’s usually in the office is super nice and welcoming. The lady makes me not want to stay there again. She needs to learn empathy. I checked out early, but experience a clothing malfunction within 2 mins and she was refusing to let me back in the room to change. Even though it was 10:30 and checkout time was 11am. She had the nastiest attitude I’ve ever seen.

I’m stuck between a 3 and a 4 on this. The rooms themselves are a little dated but incredibly comfortable. Furniture is great, kitchen well equipped, super comfy bed, good AC, nice back deck. If it were rooms alone, it would be a 5/5 even though they are old (the only one real issue being the cable doesn’t really work). The lower rating comes from 1. The facilities and 2. the location. Many of the promised hotel facilities were never open including the fitness center, the restaurant, and the mini mart. The mini mart being closed was very bad because, leading to my other point, the location sucked. It was technically about 10 minutes from cabbage beach and 15 minutes from grocery store. However, when the temperatures are in the mid 90s and the sun is beating down and you are walking uphill on roads that often lack sidewalks it is a miserable experience. All said, if you want to go to Paradise Island on the cheap this is the place for you. However, the lessons we learned was that it is totally worth it if possible to go for a shorter amount of time and shell out for Atlantis or RIU or one of the top tier places.

If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel that is close to the action on paradise island this is a fair choice. The rooms are dated but clean. We only stayed one night before our scuba charter but was a good option. If you have a chance visit the food truck park on Thursday, they are close to this hotel and Atlantis. Check in at this hotel is a bit of a pain but security is always there and rooms are secure. The morning breakfast near the pool was good value for the money. That said, it's a solid 3 star hotel in my opinion.

Security at the front is very friendly. Rooms are okay. It needs updates but good enough for our stay. Our room is complete with toaster, microwave, kettle, stove fridge and coffee maker. We did not get a chance to use the pool but it looks clean and maintained. 8 Minutes walk to Marina Village.

The rooms were very spacious but dated (one bedroom apartment). There was security at the front. The personal patio space was nice. There were two pools that weren't very busy. The location was great. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
