Bay View Villas

Beautiful view with balcony room on second floor as 3 floor was booked, the extra floor wasn't needed for an fabulous view of Derwent Harbour & the city. Rooms are good size & clean. Functioning kitchen with oven,hotplates,microwave, fridge etc.

I arrived around 7:00 PM and couldn't check in, but the security guy helped me out. The room is two stories and very well equipped. There's even a bathtub, which was nice. It was cold, but there was air conditioning on the first floor and heaters in each room on the second floor, so it wasn't a problem. I was surprised to see a wallaby right in front of the property at night. It's on a hill, so if you have a car, the view is amazing and the location is great.

Amazing, staff super helpfull, and rooms where great. Beds maybe a little hard but everything clean. Also great views!

clean rooms, very easy and smooth transaction, seamless checking in and checking out. secure area with plenty of parking space, it’s a good distance from the city but you get a really good view of Hobart and the port driving down.

Spacious very clean villas/apartments to suit families or friends wanting to stay comfy in Hobart for your next holiday. Only 5 mins from the CBD. Great views outside of every villa. Beautiful views of the bay from the hill top location. Rooms are spacious, very clean. Swimming pool, table tennis, pool table, laundry and supplies in the main building. Friendly reception staff, very helpful. Loved our stay and highly recommend this place.

As we were arriving late in the evening due to a late flight, we did not have any check-in instructions, even after asked for it prior via email. I also mentioned that in the special requests when booking, but no response. When we arrived, the check-in was closed and we did not have a Australian phone number to call so we had to ask someone to borrow the phone to call. The person who answered the phone was not friendly on top of that. Seeing the high price per night, I would expect better service and we lost time because of the bad communication. The room and view was great however.

Cant recommend highly enough , perfect location , apartment was spacious ,clean, well maintained . Jane the manager was brilliant , friendly ,engaging and helpful. Thanks Jane you made my 60th wonderful. Cheryl & Tim Perth

This is a great place to stay with a family or large group for sporting events, The first nights stay the beds seem quite firm but the second night you sleep quite well

The villas are actually in a hole between 25 meter high walls. The villas are actually 2 story so for people with knee issues this is not quite the place to rent. The in house service was very bad. When we arrived finding that the bathroom was not planished with provisions. They checked and left us enough provisions. Stay over services included only changing towels. The carpet or bathroom floors were not cleaned even if dirty. It was peaceful at night.

We are staying here for a week, the views our gorgeous from our villa #35!! It's quite a walk to get to anywhere but we love walking so no biggie for us! Nice bathroom, comfortable king bed too!!!There is a bus stop a short distance away! Would recommend this property to anyone visiting Hobart! You must push in lock on your door to lock, we were used to having self locking doors so first night door went unlocked!!!!

Stayed here for 3 nights while in Hobart for a short getaway. Really need a car to get to and from the CBD with ease. Clean, newly renovated and basic amenities to meet most people's needs I'd think. Travelled here with hubby and sis-in-law. Stayed in no. 9 - 2 bedroom with kitchenette. No stunning views from it but as we spent most of the day and night out it was fine. I believe you can choose ones that do have a view though! Good enough for us to consider again and come back to stay when we visit this part of Aus again. Paid AUD$150 per night in case you were wondering .. Good deal through Expedia for 3 people I think, for what we got!

Good value for money. Clean and contemporary fitout. Easy walk into town and onto markets but taxi required on return journey due to steepness of walk. Stayed in unit #35 which had a view to die for. Friendly and supportive staff.

I really cannot fault anything about this comfortable, luxurious accommodation!! We arrived a bit earlier than expected for a week-long stay and the staff were helpful, professional and friendly and were able to get us into our room even though it was before 12. The views from the apartment were fabulous, and it was so quiet and peaceful there. The rooms were spacious and they'd thought of everything one might want or need and didn't skimp on anything like towels or bedding. Everything was really good quality and even came with a full kitchen including an oven!!!! We thoroughly enjoyed out time at Bay View and even though it was literally a bit of a hike getting into town and back, the taxis were so cheap it only cost around $8 so it wasn't a problem. The indoor pool was great and the games room was pleasant. We loved staying in our apartment though and making use of the comfortable lounge and big screen tv when the weather turned cold and rainy :) I didn't want to leave and would definitely go back there again.
