A Truly Wonderful Stay – The Best Hotel We Experienced in Sri Lanka This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our time in Sri Lanka. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, thanks to the lovely staff and the friendly family who run the place. Having lived in Italy for years, the owners have brought back with them a fantastic sense of hospitality—and a delicious, well-curated menu that reflects their international background. The rooms were exceptionally clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed—clearly cared for with pride and attention to detail, which made our stay all the more comfortable. The rooftop café is a real highlight, offering great food, snacks, and a relaxed vibe with beautiful views. For those interested, there's also yoga available, which adds a nice touch of wellness to the stay. One of the standout experiences was the incredible safari the owner arranged for us. It included both elephant and crocodile sightings and was organized seamlessly. It really showed their dedication to creating unforgettable experiences for their guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, personal, and memorable stay in Sri Lanka.

Nice place. Great location to many things like shops, restos ATM maybe 5 meters away and so forth.||Friendly staff and helfull. Management at the reception and otherwise were were helpull.|Room was spacious, great view. |Only complaint is that the shower need more pressure. ||But lots of space, comfortable bed, effective AC... ||They can arrange laundry service, express also.||Breakfast (I wanted extra strong coffee and they fixed it directly). Don't eat breakfast my self, but my other half enjoyed it. ||To stay in the "cabana" on the hot afternoon and enjoy some wine was a lovely way to spent time.||Great place. Stay there while in Arugam Bay.

My parents and I stayed here for a week and loved it. The rooms are great, and clean. The staff is all so sweet, and accommodating. The owner was constantly checking up on how we were doing. It was my birthday and the staff continuously wished me and set up a surprise cake for me. The food is very good as well. The location is great, right in the middle of Arugam bay about a 7 minute walk to main point via beach or street.

The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.||The on-site restaurant was another highlight, offering a great variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. I especially enjoyed starting my mornings with a cup of excellent coffee from the rooftop café, which comes with a stunning view of Arugam Bay and the ocean—a perfect way to begin the day!||The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the beach and close to all the best that Arugam Bay has to offer. Whether you’re into surfing, exploring, or just relaxing, Bay Vista is the perfect base.||I definitely plan to visit again and stay even longer next time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Arugam Bay!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience. The location is nice, very convenient to access the main spots in the city. The food is delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The customer service is so good; the staff were friendly and always willing to help. Plus, the view to the beach is also good, offering a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel!🤩🤩

Bay Vista is not just a hotel it’s an experience. We stayed there for two months, and from start to finish, everything was flawless. The place is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly organized. Every single staff member was professional, warm, and genuinely kind, you can feel the positive energy the moment you walk in. A special thank you to Amanda 🙏🏻 the incredible owner, who made us feel so welcome and cared for. The receptionist always greeted us with a big smile, and the waitress was very professional and attentive it truly felt like home. And the food is Absolutely next level. Every bite was a masterpiece. We tried many other places during our stay, but nothing came close to the quality and taste of Bay Vista. It was simply the best. If you’re coming to this area, don’t even think twice Bay Vista is where you want to be. Trust me, you’ll never forget it 💗

We loved our 6 night stay at the Bay Vista Hotel. Location was excellent, right on the beach, and the rooftop cafe had a great view of the point (and amazing coffee and smoothie bowls). Rooms, gardens and restaurants were all great and the food and service was incredible. Staff were always very friendly and helpful.

First of all the staff was really welcoming, always attentive to any requests, the place is well located in central Arugam bay beach which was a key factor in our journey in Arugam Bay. The food was absolutely delicious!!! We took 2 times the açai bowl on the roof top (thanks to the best chief ever). Yoga classes with a beach view and surf classes are a really good bonus. Thank you for everything, you’ve made our trip unforgettable! From Paris 🫶🏽
