I really enjoyed this hotel. The receptionist is typical for Mongolia, he just does the base minimum. He spoke no English so it was difficult to convey what we wanted, but we got it done.
The room is the best I’ve had in the month that I’ve been in country. The hot water lasts a long time and gets really hot, everything was clean, and all but the lamp in our room worked. The windows open for fresh air and there’s a fan/heater/ac stand fan to use. There’s a very nice view out the windows and a restaurant on the 10th floor. The public spaces on each floor are carpet and no shoes are allowed, which isn’t a huge deal to me. There is breakfast included in the room at 8am. It was bread, an egg, an egg sandwich, and some kind of fruit at least.
The twin room was 250k and I think the standard double is 200k, but they didn’t have any available for us. (Would’ve been preferred, but they don’t seem to make many couple’s rooms in this country.)
I would stay here again.
