Old Soviet era hotel that has been remodeled, and it shows. Exposed, bare electrical wires in most of the stairways. Missing remotes in rooms.

Beds and pillows were nice but bathrooms were a little dark.
The hotel is blocks away from the capital and all kinds of restaurants and sites are withing easy walking distance. A good location for walking touring. Very noisy street, and room windows had to be open for cooling. The city traffic never sleeps.
While we were there for 4 days we had a hotel billing error that they refused to correct. Really?
There are undoubtedly better choices of places to stay in Ulaanbaatar.
