Baybrook Mall

Everything was excellent at Baybrook Mall! 🛍️ The place is clean, spacious, and has a great variety of stores for every taste. The atmosphere is lively but comfortable, and the staff in most shops were very friendly and helpful. There are also plenty of good dining options to take a break while shopping. Definitely one of the best malls I’ve visited in Texas!

While I like Baybrook them starting to charge you to park is ridiculous. It's not a "small" section like they keep replying to comments it's more than half of a huge section of parking by the restaurants that was always free since they open. The picture is only looking one way. It's all behind this and to the right as well. I'm sure they'll slowly start charging at other areas around the mall in a few months. Baybrook is not even as nice of a mall as woodlands or memorial and neither of them charge for parking. It's greed considering they already had valet

Genuinely the nicest, most comprehensive and well structured mall in the Houston area. Everything you need in a very walkable space with family friendly play areas and eateries everywhere. Clean, safe, and convenient. Even if you dislike malls as I do, this one is quite bearable :) I must say, I dislike the new paid parking by the resteraunt though.

As a teen, my friends and I loved going to the mall. So many interesting stores, sights, sounds and movie theaters. And food! It was a treat for us! Well, I didn't really have time to browse the whole mall so, I headed towards the food court. Wanted to see what is being offered nowadays there. Took a couple of pictures. The mall and food court were clean, as well as the facilities. You could see personnel doing their jobs. A good thing to see! Did make a mental note of coming back and taking some real time to browse. I absolutely loved that this mall was vibrant with life! Just sitting and people watching, like a sidewalk café, would be a good afternoon activity!

Over 200 stores spread across ~1.5 million square feet (~140,000 m²), or about 23 football fields, meaning we had to drive to get around this place. . It's so massive it has its own roads within the mall, and is the 2nd largest shopping mall in Houston. . The main section has a pleasant walking trail, and an enclosed air-conditioned space not unlike most other malls, with a good mix of shops. There's also a lawn section with a children's play field, nice.

Teenagers enjoy mall. Plenty of food options and great outdoor play space. 5 stars if not for parking lot. Lot needs some maintenance (as so many lots do), but more importantly people need to be more observant and follow rules of the road and be patient. Also people need to be careful when walking in the lot.

It's a very small place. Not busy at all. There was a game where the stuffed animal was much bigger than the claw, making it hard to grab. It was something different to do.

Very lively mall! Great variety in stores and a big change for us since the malls near us are quite dead.

Really nice indoor and outdoor mall with green space, restaurants, and tons of shopping centers!! In the indoor part of the mall, there is a pretty big food court with lots of options. They are always passing out samples too. The mall is pretty clean too, as are the bathrooms. There are various play stations for kids, making it very family friendly. The outdoor space has a huge green lawn with a screen in the middle. Lots of restaurants have outdoor seating that face the lawn too. There's also a big play structure for kids right after exit the indoor part! Lots of parking around the mall, and so many other stores and restaurants in the area.

I'm not super into visiting malls anymore but we wanted something to do. The indoor mall was a little "meh" but when we discovered the outdoor area, we were like, "WOW WOW!" The store selection was pretty typical: Macy's, JCPenny's, American Eagle, Claire's, Buckle, Abercrombie, VS, etc. Outdoor mall had some stores including Lush and Anthropology to name a couple. Personally, I'm more of a Marshall's/TJMAXX fan. I don't like spending full price. I didn't take a good look at the restaurants but I did see Maggiano's Little Italy and Cinnabon (2 of my favs). All in all, not my most abortive mall but it was pretty good overall.

Clean and huge mall with great shopping and restaurant options! The selections are countless. The indoor and outdoor sections are nice for all weather conditions. Staff is nice, and the bathrooms are spacious and clean! Value is great, as many stores have significant sales

Mall was not easy to maneuver if you're new to it. Some construction going on. Easter Bunny was easy to find and organized for a change.

Very nice mall, reminds me of growing up in the 80s. Glad the Houston area still has some nice malls around. A lot of people, but a lot of places to shop and some very good food. The D&B is a great place to take the kids after some school clothes shopping.

This mall has really exploded in the past couple years. Tons of shopping and food restaurants added to Baybrook Mall. Come check out what they have to offer, my friends and family enjoy taking the kids out to the yard area to have to play and run around.

Nice mall. Great selection with many stores available. Enjoyed shopping here today. Many nice and different things that are not in your every day stores. Very clean and plenty of places to sit and rest. Service was good and friendly in the places we shopped. Tried Auntie Anne's but was disappointed and shorted on order. I recommend coming here and I'll definitely be back.

Vehicle was stolen from the parking lot in broad daylight! Wasn't even in the mall that long. The security on duty stated that they've been having a lot of car thefts at their mall. My question is, why hasn't security been beefed up?! Then, the policy of the mall is to give you no information on the theft!!!! How can you not disclose to me what happened to my vehicle!!! Makes no sense whatsoever!

Don't get too physical with your Bae, because my friend told me that she got too rough and her Bae-broke. This Mall is named in the memory of the broken Bae. This is a pretty handy mall, especially now that it is expanded to have a large outdoor section which includes Salata, although it's not a very good one by any means. The indoor mall and the selection are pretty decent, but the outdoor section has taken Baybrook to the next level and if I have a complaint, it's just a little hard to circumnavigate, especially when it's busy. My previous review had said - This is a pretty cool mall, and not as busy as it used to be for sure. There's a bunch of stores in here which don't get a lot of traffic. Parking can be a bit annoying and expect to walk quite a little bit of a way to get in here - but that can be the case of a lot of malls. The Victoria's Secret is okay and the mall in general is not bad. And Barbie wears sparkly boots and sparkly stripper heels here, so you can't go wrong with that. And remember, my main ocean is fine, and the rivers are all working, but my Baybroke.

almost every store I walked into the staff were rude, not to mention how pushy the kiosk people are, someone at one of the makeup kiosk put product on my face without asking and proceeded to blend it in with used makeup brushes. I will de be going out of my way to avoid this mall

Lots of great deals to be found here. Plenty of stores in all price ranges. Great selection of indoor and outdoor standalone restaurants. I do not like the hawkers in the middle though. They are way too aggressive and are accosting customers.

I was shocked to find this mall as I am from out of town. I was very clean and had many vendors to select from including a personal massage for only $15 for 5minutes... very relaxing!

it is kinda big and has good store but there are some places that are pretty much rhe same thing as other stores that are better

I've been coming to Baybrook since I took my first steps. For those who cared enough to keep score, that was almost 36 years ago. The mall has its share of competitors in nearby shopping centers and online retail, but manages to hold its own as the top destination to make it rain with your hard-earned money in Bay Area Houston. Shoppers are never at a loss with its many stores, and since this is Yelp, it would please diners to know that the place has a solid food court and a recently opened section of standalone sit-down restaurants. Baybrook is still growing as I type this. Personally, I love Baybrook because it houses two Lids, a Hot Topic, a Fanzz, and a Vans, as well as a really great Japanese takeout joint called Sarku. Regarding the latter, expect a highly positive review in the not-so distant future. Worth noting is that Baybrook is a quick 10 to 15 minutes from my house. I'm not psychic, but I think Baybrook will be around when I'm eligible to live in a nursing home. To call it an institution is an understatement.

Before you read this review, you need to understand a few things. 1. This review is written by a manly man 2. I hate going to the mall to shop 3. Did I mention I'm a man that hates shopping at the mall? With all of that being said, me giving them 3 stars is almost as good as a 5-star review. The Good: In general, this mall has all of the typical stores you will find at any mall. I really don't know if they have all of the latest trendy stores because I can't honestly tell you how long it has been since I walked a complete circle around this mall. I honestly don't know all of the stores that are in this mall. They also have a food court inside the mall but other than Chick-Fil-A, I can't tell you what fast food restaurants are there. The Better: There are two stores that I shop more than any other if I am forced to go to the mall: Apple and Dillard's. I would encourage you to read those reviews separately. In short, I like Apple products. It is also conveniently located across from Victoria's Secret (although judging by the photos of the scantily clad models plastered all over the store, I think their "secret" isn't really a secret after all). Dillard's has a really good men's department especially for business and business casual clothing. The Best: Other than the two (or three if you really count VS) stores I mentioned above, I actually frequent the outside portion of the mall a lot more often than I do the inside portion. The renovations that have been made to the outdoor section along with the addition of several mid-to-upscale restaurants have drastically increased foot traffic to this mall. It is actually enjoyable to come to some of the restaurants at night for dinner. I would encourage you to read those reviews separately as well but know in general, the outdoor changes to the mall have really spruced up the entire area and provided an economic boost too. The Other: Parking can be a beast around the holidays or on weekends trying to get into the restaurant area. Unfortunately, with economic boost comes those looking to prey upon others. I have noticed an increased security presence lately with off-duty uniformed officers providing security in the area. I have never felt unsafe here but I am very observant and take personal precautions. As quick side note, to the best of my knowledge, as of me writing this review (Jan 2019), Baybrook is LTC friendly. I don't recall seeing any 30-06 or 30-07 signs but as you know, you should look for that yourself and not take my review as law. Bottom line: A good mall as far as malls go. Decent amount of good stores with a couple of my favorites. Recent renovations have made the outside portion of the mall quite enjoyable during and after normal mall hours. Enjoy your shopping and if you are eating at one of the many restaurants, bon appetit.

Good mall with a lot of expansion coming. Today with the way of the weather I was able to find a good parking spot. A good and peaceful day to walk in the mall.

Everything you need under one roof & room for the kids to play! Great restaurants too! I love that you can also get in & out when you want and don't have to spend all day unless that's in your plans!

I need to preface this by saying that I hate malls in general and prefer to do the majority of my shopping via Amazon Prime. That being said, my children have dragged me here more than I care to admit in recent months, and regardless of my sheer disdain for malls, Baybrook not the armpit of the world. Anyway, the mall and stores are pretty clean. There are a few I like more than others, obviously, but still Amazon has my heart. My main purpose of writing this review was to state my sheer horror at the food court restroom. My. God. That had to be the nastiest place I've seen in a long time. One toilet was completely out. One was clogged with nasty poo toilet paper. One had urine all over it. Most of the stalls had toilet paper covering the floor. The rest must have been better off because they were in use. The restroom had seen a cleaning since the morning or early afternoon. I'm confident that this is the busiest restroom in the mall, and it was absolutely disgusting. If you're like me, try another restroom.

I love this mall. This mall was my old stomping grounds back in college when I wanted to kill time on the weekend (because partying and drinking was never my thing.) I love seeing it grow and different restaurants nearby popping up. I would get annoyed when the Israelis in the skin care kiosks would mistake me for an Arab and say "endy sou-al" which means in Arabic I have a question. In order for me to catch the bait so they can tell me about their "fabulous" product. I can't dismiss people rudely, and so each time I would smile and say I'm in a rush I can't talk. I wish people will just let folks shop in peace without having to be pressured to learn about a product. If I'm curious about something, I'll come to that vendor and ask. I learned very quick that the best time to shop in order to avoid the kiosk businesses is on a Saturday morning. The aggressive skin care kiosk businesses don't care much for my business around that time. When it gets busy, it gets really busy. But I think that's the charm of shopping at a mall.

We were purchasing a new iPhone 13 and trading in a damaged iPhone 12. They wanted $270 to replace the cracked glass. Due to their procedures we went through two sales people. During this they misplaced the phone we were purchasing. We walked out and will never go to this store again.

Great place to take the family to go eat and enjoy a little bit of everything. This expansion is amazing and love what they have done to the place, super clean and great service always.

This mall is really building up! I hate that more traffic will come with that, but it's really nice. Everything is here and I mean everything! At night it's so bright and beautiful. The green grass movie night is pretty cool to especially for the kids.

Don't use the valet!! The mall itself is awesome with the expansion. I would suggest NOT using the valet as the apparent contracted company that does valet is horribly unprofessional and unapologetic. I've valeted 3 separate times and every single time there was trash left in my car i.e: straw paper, candy/gum wrappers. The radio station was changed to an unrated hip hop station. (Upon returning to my car with young children and entering MY car only to hear loud, cursing rap music-Not cool!!) Each time this has occurred, messages for the valet mgmt were left and unreturned. The mall office refers you to the contract company for complaints so you get nowhere. The mall really needs to dump that company and contract a professional company!!

Great mall--I'm not a big huge fan of malls, but they are fun to walk around in. This mall usually opens at 10 am--but its secretly open at 8 am, so the elderly can exercise by walking. If you want you can join them--I walked with them and nobody said much to me. The food court is pretty cool--they have this sandwich shop that you can't find anywhere in Houston except found in the malls of Houston. A guy friend introduced me to it. They have good sandwiches and Philly cheese sandwiches. The KIOSK vendors don't pressure you into buying their stuff--they do politely persuade you. The apple store is in here, Victoria Secret, Bath and Body Works, Fuego, and others.

Long time mall in the area that has undergone some significant changes over the past several years (for the better.) Still has some work to do, but overall a good place to shop with a broad selection of stores. If you're shopping with your family, you'll more than likely find what you're after. The outdoor area is a nice touch, especially when the weather is nice. As a father of 3, I can find a place in the outdoor area to duck out and let the kids do their thing while I enjoy a beer or light snacks while they shop. If all is going well, the outdoor part has a lot of restaurants to choose from if you opt for a full meal. One complaint is the "in your face" peddlers at some of the "carts" dotted around the mall. They're sometimes obnoxious and if for some reason you do show the slightest bit of interest in what thy're peddling, they will take that as a free invitation to try and keep you at their cart. This needs to be curbed.

I've been coming to this mall since I was a small child and we'd wait in line for hours to see Santa Claus near the big fountain. I lived a few blocks from here most of my life so this mall has sentimental feelings for me. I'm disappointed that they removed the Disney store a few years back because that was my FAVORITE. (There's a Disney store at the Tanger Outlets in Texas City). This mall is the best in the area. It even beats the galleria for me because the galleria is so crowded and such a nightmare to park at. Baybrook has stepped up their game and added some amazing stores like (Sephora, MAC, Box Lunch, Typo, Forever 21, Hot Topic, etc) and their dining options for a quick lunch on the go are fantastic. Sarku Japan is my favorite and they're always standing outside their booth with free samples. Try the teriyaki chicken, if nothing else. So good! The people in the middle of the walkways aren't overly pushy; just tell them no or that you have some incurable skin disease and they'll back off. Parking can be awful but pro tip: park at one of the department stores and use that to remember where you parked, this place is HUGE. I'm so glad they added a Dave N Busters and some fancy dining!

Last week the Mall Management told me they were going show on the Big Screen The Astros World Series Games if they got to World Series.... Well guess what ! ..... They Aren't ....now after talking with someone at Mall Management on Wednesday after they didn't show the Astros 1st WS game on Tuesday ! Such a disappointment after they Showed the last 2 Astros WS games in 2017 & 2019 on the ""Big Screen ""

Renovations are complete, and this Mall looks the same on the inside. The food court needs updating with something other then fried or Oriental food. Or just wonder outside to the restaurants. But overall the new addition looks nice. With a number of good restaurants and bars. Parking is a little better especially on the new edition. But overall happy this Mall received a face lift after many years .

Baybrook Mall has definitely stepped up its game. Living in Southeast Houston most of my life, and now in Pearland, this has been one of the better malls in the area. There is something for everyone here. Now, with the expansion, it's comparable to First Colony Mall. The one thing going against them is the traffic and parking during peak times like Christmas. Regardless of that, Baybrook is definitely a great place to take care of your shopping needs.

Great store selection and each store is big and open! Food court has nice variety and even though everything wasn't open due to Covid-19 , still nice! Really enjoyed this mall while passing through Houston!

I would say this mall is the best mall in Houston. The food selection the store selection and everyone seems to be kind and helpful here. Try the sarku Japan food it's great.

Very up to date mall with ample parking, popular stores and very large food court area, there are also adjoining shops you can walk around outside but those shops are more pricy boutiques and before heading east they have large outdoor store. I got a giant hamburger pillow at this mall and was totally worth the $43..! We went on a Saturday afternoon and was already very packed but found upfront parking by forever 21 entrance. Lots of places to eat around there!! It was worth a stop!

I'm low key not a mall person. I really avoid going at all costs. To be honest, I prefer to shop online as it's great to get apparel in the mail; convenience. This summer I have had a steady stream of visitors as well as my niece from the Caribbean has been here so I take everyone here once to get their shop on. My house is very close so it's pretty convenient. I have to say that I have gone to most of the restaurants by the mall and now the movie theater. They are expanding and adding more high end clothing stores ( Anthropologie...be still my heart) so I feel I may shop here more often! Baybrook mall is very crowded most of the time. I would say the best time to go would be in the middle of the week when they restock the hangers and have a chance to put everything in their rightful place after it's been picked over. Go while most people are at work unless you want to people watch. The movie theater is great. I'm actually looking forward to the new additions.

Your normal indoor mall. They have everything you expect: A food court, Hot Topic, Geek stores as well as tons of clothes and department stores. There are also plenty of people standing outside their hut, store, food spot with samples. Don't let them pull you in, your bank account may never be the same!

The outside area is beyond awesome, and it is usually the only area we go into. This is about the inside area though, which I have ventured into a few times in the past few weeks. There is a good selection of stores, but the custodial staff needs to step up their game. The restroom next to the food court is absolutely disgusting, no matter the time of day you go. I was left with no choice but to use a stall that had a wastebasket that was ripped off of the wall and overflowing with used feminine products and dirty diapers. Appalling.

A great indoor/outdoor mall with lots of stores. They even have a piercing pagoda! There is a small outdoor kids play climbing structure. A food court inside and lots of stores. It's clean and well lit. I will be coming back to check out all the sales.

Since I've lived in Houston the past 3.5 years I've seen this mall expand tremendously! I absolutely have no reason to go into the city now. The most recent expansion has added a sporting goods store, more restaurants, endless shopping options! Friendswood is keeping up with the times! The mall has added valet parking not only for restaurant patrons but also for those shopping. A few high end options have been added to make this mall extremely versatile. The eateries have provided a vast array of options from steakhouse, pub style to sushi! Great place for the entire family!

Haven't been to this Mall in years because it was awful. Went the day after Christmas and found a mall almost as nice as ours in The Woodlands. Great stores and restaurants, but no seating in strategic places throughout mall. That was my only complaint. Loved sitting outside on the benches, great shops. Very nice. Love the renovations!

Baybrook Mall is my go to mall. It is close and convenient to where I live and they have most of my favorite stores. But then again... maybe they are my favorite stores because they are located in a mall that is close to where I live. We love what we know! I love to shop... so I am there a couple times a month... if not more (it's usually more... I just didn't want to sound like I have a problem). The mall is in pretty decent shape... but since it is a larger mall, the upkeep is not as present as it is in a smaller mall. I also usually avoid the restrooms because they are pretty much always funky... I don't understand why people find it necessary to trash a public restroom. The lay out of the mall is easy to navigate. Even with that being said... if you want to just run in and run out... that may not happen... unless you know right where the store that you want to go to is located... and you are able to find a decent parking place. The parking around this mall fills up fairly quickly. And the traffic is a NIGHTMARE! Seems like no matter what time it is... you will feel like you are stuck in a traffic jam. As far as the food court is concerned... the best thing about it is... they have a Sonic!!! So, when I am shopping and dying of thirst... Sonic to the rescue!!!

A mall is a mall right? NO, well a decent mall is hard to find. Especially, in an area like friendswood, there are only so many things to do. So this is the less ghetto, mall for the area, opposed to almeda mall. I was looking for an iPhone and I went down my list of apple stores in Houston. Galleria - sold out Memorial City mall - sold out First colony mall - sold out Baybrook mall - had some left Even though by the time I got there they were sold out also, it was nice to know that I actually had a chance. Also while i was there I got to check out a half decent mall.

I hadn't been to this mall in a long time and man is it way different. (Better) More restaurants and stores makes it worth the drive. The congestion leading up to the mall is pretty much non existent anymore. I'll be coming back more often..

Absolutely love this mall! I've been going here since I was a baby! and I don't seem to find a reason to hate it. There's a good store selection to choose from, for me, Hot topic, Hollister, forever 21 is great! I love how big the forever 21 is! For the food court, there is a bunch of eateries! I love Sarku Japan, it has great teriyaki chicken. The mall is very spacious and aside from the traffic, the parking is great! They recently added a share tea, which I love! The outdoor area is cool, there is a lot of stores there like Zara! There's a lot of stations and a lot of new things added there! Although, they do need to clean the mall and bathrooms more frequently during the day, I've seen the trash bins overflow so many times, the bathroom toilet paper runs out and they don't care to replace it yet.. But, I love this mall and I really recommend if you!re trying to find a mall to shop at!

I'm not one to walk this entire mall, mainly because: A) I dislike crowds B) I dislike tweeners gabbing it up, clueless to the world around them who almost always run my little 5'2" 110 lb body down C) I dislike almost all of the stores in this mall D) My Corvette was broken into in the parking lot So why do I go to Baybrook you ask? Simple: A) White House Black Market B) Cache C) Bebe D) Sephora E) Sunglass Hut If they could move these stores to the same area, that would be awesome, but clearly that's not going to happen!! Other than that, I avoid this place like the plague for the reasons stated in the beginning.

I love this mall, they have plenty of stores to choose from. Usually not too busy during the week of course but weekends expect crowds. Food court is good too many options to choose from. I'd say this is a good place to go shopping or if you'd want to just hangout with a friend and look around. Don't forget the outside playground for kids etc.

I would give zero stars if I could. I am not sure why the Grinch decided to set up shop at Baybrook mall but he did. The huge Christmas tree surrounded by poinsettias that has been there since we moved here in 2007 is suddenly gone. I took my children yesterday to get pictures taken with Santa and I was surprised to find the tree replaced with a candy store. I asked the Santa that was there where they moved the tree to and he said there wasn't one. Not only did the mall get rid of the best Santa they had a few years ago (we had been going to the same Santa since 2007) now there is no Christmas stuff at all. We did not see this Santa and will more than likely not be back. I will also not shop there. I tried to call but you just go through 18 different voice mail prompts and end up nowhere. I am sad as this is the closest mall to our house.
