Bayflowers Guest House

We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay at Bayflower Guesthouse. The rooms were clean and cozy. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was absolutely delicious — a perfect start to our day. The location is excellent, close to V&A Waterfront, DHL Stadium and other top Cape Town attractions. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cape Town!

My father and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bayflowers Guest House. The rooms were absolutely lovely, some with nice balconies. There is also a nice common area where breakfast is served, but is also very relaxing to do some work in. The Guest house is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The big standouts were the service - the manager Lee was absolutely incredible throughout the entire stay, being positive, helpful and flexible. You really feel like you are a very appreciated guest. The breakfast was by far the best we had during our whole trip. The chefs are super sweet, and I personally had the best omelettes I’ve had in years. We will definitively return here if we are to come back to Cape Town.

We stayed at Bayflowers Guest House in August and were really impressed by the warmth of the whole team, from the owners to the cleaning staff. Always smiling and helpful, they truly made us feel at home. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe, which made it the perfect base for exploring Cape Town. The best parts: the genuine hospitality, spotless cleanliness, super comfortable bed with an electric blanket (a lifesaver during chilly winter nights), and the breakfast, freshly prepared with quality ingredients. The not-so-great: breakfast can be a bit slow… but then again, when everything is cooked to order, you can’t really expect fast-food speed. All in all, a highly recommended place if you’re looking for comfort, safety, and truly personal service. More than just a guest house, it feels like home.

We, family of 5, had a wonderful short stay at Bayflowers guest house. Location is great for exploring Cape Town (don’t forget to visit OZCF market!!) Rooms are spacious and clean. Michael and Jeanne are very friendly and helpful. Even last minute change of dates due to flight cancellation (thanks KLM!!) could be dealt with. Superb.

Chose to stay here having seen the number of 5* reviews on TA. We were not disappointed. Very warm welcome from our hosts and our room (101) was spotlessly clean with a large balcony with table and chairs. Also fridge, tea/coffee, kettle etc., comfy double bed, plenty of mirrors and very useful USB ports either side of the bed. Very generous breakfast selection plus cooked option. Jeanne,Michael and their daughter Maxine are super friendly people and always around to help with whatever you need. Highly recommend.
