Bayley & Sage in Marylebone Village is a true gourmet treasure. Shelves always brimming with beautiful produce, prepared dishes, artisan breads, cheeses, meats… literally everything you need for a quick luxe dinner or a full gourmet feast at home. 🍇🥖✨ That said, pricing is a mixed bag. Some finds are a great value, but others are eye-wateringly expensive, especially when a few nearby spots offer similar (or occasionally better) products for less. So it’s a place I adore, but with a bit of strategic shopping. Still, if you love exceptional food, seasonal ingredients, and the joy of beautifully sourced produce, Bayley & Sage remains a go-to stop in the heart of Marylebone. 🛒🤍

A high-end grocery store that offers high-quality products. Love their Christmas cookies suitable for gifts.

We popped into Barley & Sage while exploring Marylebone and were instantly drawn in by the elegant displays and tempting selection. This is a beautifully curated deli offering some of the finer things in food — from artisan cheeses and charcuterie to freshly baked goods, gourmet snacks, and top-tier pantry staples. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but everything we tried was packed with freshness and rich, satisfying flavour. It’s the kind of place where you treat yourself — whether you’re after indulgent snacks, an uplifting sweet treat, or something a bit special for a weekend spread. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, happy to help guide us through their favourites. A wonderful spot for food lovers who appreciate quality — and the perfect place to lift your spirits with something delicious.

It was my first visit to the store and I enjoyed myself immensely. The stuff on display is amazing and of good quality. Good wine, cheese, fruit and Christmas goodies were on display. I bought minced pie which was superb. Looking forward to going back soon.

We were lucky to accidentally find this wonderful shop. It has a great selection of fresh baked goods, jams, honey and even fruits and vegetables. All the stuff we tried were absolutely tasty. It is a bit expensive but worth the price. The way they display the products reminds me of the old shops in my city where there were no fancy shelves to place the stuff 🙂. It really worth a visit during any coming trips to London.

some lovely produce but unfortunately food is often past its sell by date or on the verge of going off. when I've complained Ive had to chase for a refund, with managers who promise to call not doing so (twice!) and no compensation offered for the time and inconvenience of having to come back into store. Not least the fact that dinner has been ruined. disappointing.

Everything you could want for a local deli! It’s a beautiful space; artful displays packed with delicious stuff. Really great fresh produce, wines, cheeses + deli meats and sweet things. Not tried the fresh meat and fish but it looks similarly great quality. Staff are all super and opening times are dead useful, at both ends of the day.
