I went there to donate a kidney so I had been previously dealing with their transplant clinic. This was a first class and smooth process. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. You are always treated with a smile and wonderful care. Everyone takes their time with you explaining things and answering questions. We had been to 2 other local transplant hospitals and by far Baylor was the best. On day of transplant the staff nurses and doctors were all wonderful and reassuring to make you feel truly at ease. After the procedure I was there for 3 days and again it was great. The nurses are so caring, attentive and responsive to your needs and you truly feel as a patient and not just another person in a hospital bed. Allison by far was the BEST NURSE I HAVE EVER HAD! The post operative process was also top notch. Doctors came by and didn't rush when talking to you, answered all questions and ensured you left only when it was deemed medically safe and you felt comfortable. The only negatives were when I left post op recovery and was moved from the transport bed to my bed they were very rough. They either needed more people to move me or stronger because I felt like I was tossed from bed to bed and was the worst pain ever experienced in my life. The tables in the rooms need to have wheels or wheels that work so they are patient friendly as you literally can't move them and after surgery have no energy and shouldn't be exerting yourself. Lastly although the ease of choosing your meals through their APP and the wonderful variety and portions the food, the food definitely can be improved on quality. But this hospital is phenomenal and first class and will always be my primary choice for hospitals.

The staff at Baylor was nothing short of amazing. I had a baby transferred to the NICU and Susan from the NICU transfer team kept me informed the entire ride and sent photos to let me know the baby was safe. When we got to the hospital, the staff was always so friendly and always supportive of such an emotional journey. They listened to me about reflux issues that I was concerned about. Nurse Emma and Nurse Kim were so kind and took excellent care of my baby. Frankly all the nurses were amazing. They listened and are compassionate and caring and I couldn’t say anything negative. As a breastfeeding mom, they gave me so much support to make sure she was fed and taken care of .

My uncle received a heart transplant here during COVID. He is still doing amazing today . The lady I care for absolutely had the best care here. Everyone from the emergency room to all the Drs nurse's and aides. Everyone involved in her care we're absolutely the best thing in the world.

My experience was just okay... the nurses, patient care techs, and everyone else was great, except for Dr. Joseph. I am aware she's a "doctor " but she doesn't value anyone's time. I had to AMA due to her not arriving during the 2 time frames she provided she would be arriving. I requested a call back from her to discuss the next steps, was told i would receive a call and an update on the Baylor app, and i have yet to receive anything.

This has been our worst hospital experience, ever. (And we have been in hospitals in foreign countries!) My Mom was there for 3 days, 2 weeks ago. She was in the ER for the first 2 days before she was moved to a room. We could not call her because they told us that she had lost her phone, but it was just turned off in her property. When we called for an update, we held on the phone for more than 30 minutes consistently. When we finally reached someone, we were told to call back in 2 hours because her nurse was busy! We could only hope that she was getting decent care. No! She told us that she had been banging on her table with her cup when a nurse passed by her room, hoping for water or to get the pot put back in her bedside commode. My Mom is normally a very quiet, polite person. She was desperate! She had very bad diarrhea as one of her side effects, so this was not a pleasant experience for her. They treated her like she was just an annoyance. She had come in by ambulance from the State Fair of Texas, so you know she was not just there for kicks and grins. She HAD to be there. It gets worse, but needless to say, we will not ever go back or recommend Baylor University hospital to anyone.

I had the absolute best experience giving birth to my baby at this hospital, and it’s something I will never forget. From the very first person who checked me in to the last person I interacted with, everyone was incredibly welcoming, kind, and had the best attitude. The nurses were beyond amazing—so knowledgeable, respectful, and caring. They treated me with the utmost respect and made sure both my baby and I were doing well every step of the way. What meant the most was how they truly listened to me and respected all of my wishes throughout the process. I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. Choosing this hospital for my baby’s birth was the best decision, and I am so grateful to the entire team for making such an important moment in my life so positive and memorable. 💕

Always a good experience. Moved quickly from my vitals bring taken. To blood draws, then to a room. Where the nurse made sure of meds and any condition my Dr needed to be aware of. Dr Sherwood is the best. When their was a question over my blood pressure medication. She was able to communicate with my Nephrologist To see if it was safe to increase my blood pressure medication. So I was able to quickly resolve my issue. Also some blood test came back while in the clinic. Grateful to all the team members at the Advanced Hearth and Lung Desease Clinic For the medical care they have given me. David Shields Heart transplant recipient.
