The rustic Bayshore Inn is located on the shore of Waterton Lake. It is very close to many restaurants and shops lining the main street, including the boat dock. So, if you want different dining choices and accessible main street shopping, you should be reasonably contented with its convenient location.
My second-story room had a lovely outdoor balcony view of Waterton Lake. My room was partially obstructed by evergreen trees, but I expected to see trees in Waterton anyway. Every morning, I viewed deer quietly grazing along the shore of Waterton lake.
The room was equipped with two beds, a flat screen satellite television, telephone, small refrigerator, coffee maker, and air conditioning.
Everything was clean, including all of my bed linens and bathroom towels. However, the latch on the sliding screen door leading outside to the balcony viewing deck was broken. So, the sliding screen door slid around in windy conditions (and I arrived on a day when Waterton was experiencing a strong Chinook wind). For this reason, I couldn't leave the sliding glass door cracked open for fresh air and my room became stuffy.
Fortunately, I did not spend much time in my room and I did not use the spa attached to the Bayshore Inn. Instead, I wanted to be outdoors and enjoy the Waterton wildlife and alpine scenery as often as possible. So, the Bayshore Inn was fine for me.
