Bayside Burger & Beer

We went to see a band here and eat dinner on 7/25/25. I had the Mushroom and Swiss burger. It was cooked to my liking and tasted pretty good. My wife had a Taco salad and said it was good. The band was loud. We have eaten herd before and the service is pretty good as is the food

Nice neighborhood pub/restaurant. Casual atmosphere, good food, reasonable prices. When I visited there were a number of families there enjoying supper out on a hot night. Would recommend. Seems like it's a hangout for Michiganders and Detroiters. Oh well, great American League city nonetheless! 😀

We went on this past Sat. night and had a blast. The food, drinks and service were all great, as well as affordable, but what really impressed the entire crowd was the band they had there. I think they were called “Rockers”. They had the crowd of all ages dancing, clapping and hooting!

This is a very nice sports bar with freshly remodeled and nice interior appointments with lots of TVs. Really good specialty drink and beer selection along with an excellent wine and liquor selection. Their burger menu is great and highly recommend the mushroom and swiss burger. The burger was cooked medium just as requested perfectly. The buns are not frozen, but in-house made. This was a very good experience and we will be back!

This was a Grubhub delivery order; first time from Bayside Burger & Grill. The delivery went well and the driver got the food here quickly and it was packaged well. Unfortunately the food wasn’t good. Grilled Chicken sandwich ($17): the good size chicken breast was grilled too long; and so it was tough and practically impossible to chew. The Patty Melt ($17) was cooked too long as well. The Greek Salad ($17) was “Greek” by name only as some of the ingredients would not be in a Greek salad, like chickpeas & beets. The fries ($5) were too coated; I couldn’t taste the potato underneath. The onion rings were OK; at $10 they should have been better than just OK. The large soft Pretzel ($16) was large & very good; it is the one enjoyable item. I sliced it open, put some butter on it and it was practically the only thing I ate. Sometimes one takes a chance ordering from a new place. But as the menu in general had the type of food we felt like eating we went ahead. I never have a problem with the cost if the food is good. At a total of $130 it was disappointing !

I went for lunch on a Wednesday with a friend. I got the cheeseburger, she had the patty melt. I cleaned my plate, cept for a few fries, because there were plenty! And they were deliciously seasoned and yummy hot on delivery. This is a sports bar, so not really our vibe as two stylish boomers, but we are always searching out yummy lunch spots. We think there were about 20 TVs, so must be great for sports people. Bayside will stay in the rotation because the food was fabulous, the bartender/server was adorable, attentive and delightful. Lunch for 2 including one soda and one wine for $42, plus tip is pretty average, maybe on the low end for the many places we’ve been over the past few years. The establishment is clean, friendly, easy to find; what more can you ask for?

Great place! Really good food, service was amazing and everyone was so nice. Live band was great and not too loud like most places! We had fried pickles for app then the cheeseburger and philly cheese staek. The fresh chips were really good as well. Lexi and Eddie were both super nice and very responsive. Also a Detroit Lions bar, so even better! We will definitely be back!

Food was really good. I had the beef brisket burger, friend had Cheeseburger. They were really good, nice presentation, not just stopped together falling apart. Bun was good, as well as the beef patty and brisket ony burger. The fries were lightly seasoned, and very crispy. Probably the best fries I have had in a really long time. Service was great, checked in on ya several times. They never let you drinks get close to empty. They were quick on taking the dirty plates away as well. Customers were friendly and came and suggested items and told us how delicious everything was as well.

Walked into this place during happy hour and, I kid you not, it was so quiet I thought I accidentally wandered into a private event. But nope--just me, my thoughts, and a very solid whiskey sour. $2 off? Don't mind if I do. At this rate, I almost expected them to hand me the aux cord and let me run the place. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger medium, and it actually came out medium--a shocking rarity in a world where "medium" usually means "choose your own adventure." Juicy, flavorful, and served on a toasted corner bun that didn't disintegrate on contact. The fries? Hot, crispy, and clearly not ashamed of who they are. Respect. The staff was attentive without hovering like helicopter parents, which is always appreciated. Honestly, if you're looking for a quiet pit stop to sip, munch, and pretend you're the main character in an indie film, this place delivers. 10/10 would hide out here again.

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday. Service was great, our server was incredibly attentive and friendly. We asked a few questions she didn't know the answer to for but quickly sought the answer. The mac n cheese bites appetizer was really good. Our food was mediocre; nothing special but good nonetheless. We had a gyro, a chicken gyro, a pulled pork sandwich, a Philly and chicken tenders. The homemade potato chips were delicious however half of them weren't cooked so that was disappointing. Overall I'd try this place again.

First time here, got to talk to the owner Andy, very hands on guy, it's him & his wife working their restaurant. A big kudos to Lex the bartender we had she was great! I had the Bayside Burger, I want one again soon that's how good it was. You can tell a frozen burger from a fresh one & this was amazingly fresh! The home made chips were DELISH! He said he gets his rolls from Nina bakery in Punta Gorda, you can tell they are bakery made & not "store bought". Really good selection of draft beer also. We had a really good experience here & will definitely be back. The ONLY thing they should maybe change is put a little ambience in their indoor lighting; it's a little too bright or stark, needs something but not sure what.

We sat and talked to the owner (Darlina) and we can't wait to come back!! All of their food is made fresh and there isn't a microwave anywhere in the kitchen. 18 seats at the bar and tables for 2,4 or 6 and 8.There's a pool table and a stage for a band. There's room for any kind of celebration( birthday, baby shower, etc) there are lots of TV's for you to watch your favorite team. They are talking about starting some home made daily specials- stop by and give her some ideas!!We will be back soon!

Amazing food and service! Absolutely love the feel of the place. So happy to have found my Lions Den in SWFL!

This was definitely not what I expected. This is more of a dive bar but it looks like it has a strong following with the locals. We went in on a Sunday in the middle of the day and it was busy. There was a live guitarist and people were up and dancing. The staff was friendly but we were seated and after 10 minutes no one came to check in on us. We decided to go to the bar and see if the service picked up, it did. We ordered a philly and a burger. The food was so flavorful and savory, there are no complaints. I know this place is new, excited to see it evolve.

Being a fairly regular customer at this establishment since they officially opened in February, I can understand some of the patrons frustrations with service, as they have had issues with staffing at times. However, their menu choices are all made fresh to order, and taste excellent. If you're going to have Burgers in your name, then you better be sure it's a great one! And they are, with the Lucas burger being my personal favorite. And in the off chance that it may not be prepared to your liking, be sure to point it out to them as they will do everything they can to correct it while you're there. It is in a strip mall but don't let the outside deceive you. They did a fantastic job renovating it from the previous establishment. Brightly lit, clean, and a variety of entertainment options throughout the week that are listed on their FB page. Definitely don't pass this place by, as they say, don't judge a book by its cover.

This place is a gem. We were immediately greeted and had our drinks within minutes. Amazing owner and staff. I felt like a local even though im only on vacation. There are Tv's everywhere (great football place with the NFL ticket), and a spotless bar area.

Reagan was amazing and accommodated everyone promptly, very pleased and will be back for Packers victories

Wow! First time to this new spot in Cape Coral and it did not disappoint! Flavio took great care of us at the bar-the draft beer was cold and delicious we had cheese sticks to start and then my partner had classic burger with bacon and tots and I had the patty melt with homemade chips. The food came out piping hot and incredibly fresh. You could definitely tell these are not frozen burgers!! For dessert we had 2 bayside shots and the presentation alone made me want to order 2 more if you've ever been to this location before you know it was less than savory...the new owners came in and cleaned house! It's bright, open, and so clean. We will most definitely be back soon! I want to try everything on the menu!

Good food, service, nice atmosphere and drinks. Went for lunch to try based on friends' recommendations. Will definitely be coming back, and I would definitely recommend it.

Good food and great service. We went after the Vet's Day parade and it was not too busy. The waitresses were friendly and engaging. Everyone (5 of us) enjoyed the food and appetizers. All burgers prepared as requested. Seasoned fries were great. Give this place a try. I've been checking their entertainment and know for sure that Pure Country is as good as it gets for country music fans.

This place is a Cape Coral hidden Jem. Great food and drink. Friendly atmosphere. And reasonable prices. We can't wait to return.

Great environment, friendly staff, and the food is great. The mac n cheese bites were stuffed with cheese and delish. The atmosphere was welcoming and fun. The bartender made me drinks they never heard of, and it was delicious. Definitely coming back. They are having a raffle Saturday for a 65inch TV February 3rd, 2024.

I have driven by this bar, but would never go inside. The outside has the low class "bud" sun shades that made me think the inside was just as run down. Some friends wanted to go see a band that was playing on Friday night. I was skeptical of going, but gave it a try and was quite happy I did. They actually had two local micro brews on tap! Unfortunately for me, the one keg kicked and they didn't have another. So I switched to Yuengling. Our server was very nice and kept checking on us. Had a burger and it was very good. Seems like they get live music, so I plan to go back. This bar has great potential, if they could improve its "curb appeal"!!!!

The food is still excellent. Here the sandwiches are incredible. The thing that has changed is the service. It is horrible no matter what we ask for we did not receive. As for the ambience it's the same it hasn't changed. I am just very upset not sure will be back because the service is very important but the food here is very excellent.

Loved the burger! Perfect size too. Got the one with Mac and cheese on it. Chill atmosphere

I celebrated my birthday with a dozen friends. The Echo band was playing great music. The food was great and we danced. The band sang happy birthday to me! A great evening!

Lookout Cape Burger joints there's a new kid in town!!! Bayside is doing burgers right! Cooked as asked fresh crisp lettuce nice tomato and onion slice a bun that stands up to the stuffing and what are the Best Fries I have had ever in the Cape. Crispy Crunchy and full of Flavor. The service was great! If you want a Burger give them a try you will not be disappointed. They have a focused menu with sandwich's and dinner entrees. And a Full bar for all your favorite cocktails!

Food is really good, wanted to like this place, however they served us kahlua that was pale & cloudy. When we tried to explain that it wasn't right & showed them pictures they insisted we were wrong. If I can't trust what's being poured I'm not going to frequent the establishment

Fantastic experience all around! The food was excellent and all freshly prepared. The mixed drinks were expertly crafted and some of the best I've ever had. Great pricing on food and drinks. The service was outstanding as well! Inside is updated and an all around great vibe. Everything about our visit exceeded our expectations.

Amazing live performances, great food and great drink prices. Had the Lucas burger and it came out perfect, stage for the bands is top notch, really enjoyed my time and will be returning

Food is great, service is wonderful and they have a clean, spacious area with great bands on the weekends and events during the week. It really is a fun place!!

Food was delicious and the service with the staff and bartender were amazing! Definitely worth going and poker nights are awesome to meet new people and hang out watch sports and have a drink! Be reasonable they're just opening and it's hard to find good workers these days they're trying their best! Brought my whole family nieces and nephews everyone's enjoyed themselves and we played some arcade games overall love the new edition too Cape Coral! See ya there

The food was amazing .. we had our party there and it was just delicious and the cook is so dedicated and makes great food . The owners were also so nice to all our guest . we highly recommend this place

Found this little gem because we were hungry and tired of "fast food." From Arizona and just randomly picked this place off the map. Awesome food! We had the sampler and the grouper bites and cheese sticks were sooo good! Best ranch we've had in a while and we are ranch snobs. If we lived here, would definitely be regulars here!

Just plain fun. Food is terrific. Service great. Nice clean and bright atmosphere. Kid friendly. Fantastic place to meet family or friends. Nice new addition to our neighborhood. A must to stop in. Would highly recommend.

I've been wanting to try out Bayside Burger & Beer for some time and finally, after learning they have the NFL Ticket, I decided to give it a try today. The location is good, being very close to Pine Island Rd., Santa Barbara, and Hancock Bridge Pkwy. Inside there is just a giant open space with high ceilings, with very little ambiance. I proceeded to sit at one of the two bars and ordered a draft beer. I was there to watch a particular NFL game and asked where I should sit to watch that game, and was told it would be on 1 of the T.V.s in the back area. I asked a couple more times and got the same response each time. By mid first quarter of that game, they still hadn't put that game on any of their T.V.s. So I paid for my beer and told the waitress that I was leaving and had hoped to stay and watch the game, have lunch and drink more while watching the game, but alas, the game was never turned on and went over to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game, drink and eat.

Great patty melt, good service, could use another restroom, one is not enough, especially that it's used for men and women. I will go there again.

I want to like this place, super close to home. However, both times we have visited our burgers were way over cooked. Ordered medium rare and they came out well done. So sad for a burger joint.

Food and Service are amazing. Best blackened grouper we have had and the bartender can make a great cocktail. Highly recommend as very clean environment and they have different activity's going all the time. I am sure you will not be diapppinted

I have been here twice and I will not be going back. Both times the servers were walking about looking lost and this last time I waited over 30 minutes for my food. I ordered a well done burger and the place was busy so I expected it to take a little longer but what I didn't expect was to get it raw. The burger was barely cooked on both sides. I tried to say something but I think it was the female owner that came up to me and she acted like she wanted to fight so I shut up. A male worker came over a minute later and he was being nice so I just asked for a to go box and took it home to my dog and cooked something at home for myself. Also if the place is busy really look at your bill before paying. The put drinks that we didn't have on ours and we had to wait to get them removed. Yes the place was busy with some game going on and only 2 servers. Update- the owner responded to this review saying they are sure they would never have sent out a raw burger. Check your cooks honey because it was raw.

Service was awful. ran out of multiple liquors and waitress had no idea what liquor they still had in stock. The few drinks we had were so short poured we weren't going to have anymore anyways. I've never seen a 4 ounce pour for wine but there's always a first time . food took forever and was mediocre at best. Tried to find a manager to help but he or she never came to the table. Beware!

Other people were served before us we had to take our food home in a box, and waited over an hour. The waitress was sorry but nothing was taken off the bill. I would not recommend unless you have lots of time and patience.

There food is ok but it took over an hour to get my food both times I was there. They need more help. Not to mention people that came in after us got there food before us. Felt bad for the server that had to deal with the angry people waiting FOREVER for the food!!!

First time here and everything was great. My husband and I shared the pretzel and the bacon cheese burger. The burger was amazing! The cheese could have been hotter with the pretzel but that is the only thing that could use improvement. Will definitely return.

My wife and I have been there three times now and have enjoyed it each time. The service has been great and the food even better! Can't wait for the Grand Opening!
