My wife and I went pm a winery tour most of the day then spent the night at the BaySide Inn. We had never stayed here before but found it to be very welcoming and a nice place to spent a night or two right on the Kalamazoo River. It is close to eateries and a host of shops in downtown Saugatuck. We loved spending time on the upper deck at the Coral Gables listening to oldies from the the 70's sung "live" by the guitar-playing musician.

Stayed in June. We loved the Inn. We had room 6. It was perfect. Loved our tiny private balcony. The breakfasts were very nice! Will ask for it on our next Saugatuck trip!

My Wife and I have stayed at this Bed and Breakfast for a Number of years. We Love it! Excellent rooms and amenities, beautiful views,on the Kalamazoo River Downtown Saugatuck. Close to Restaurants and next Door to the Barge Restaurant which is Excellent. Near the Chain Ferry approximately 200 yards away. Wicks Restaurant about same Distance. Staff are Friendly and Pleasant. Breakfast is Great! Both Warm homemade dishes and cakes. Cereals Breads,Yogurt, Oatmeal,Fresh fruits and Coffee and Tea Dispensers. There is limited docking space as well so you need to reserve it ahead of your stay. Highly recommended 👌

My friend and I recently stayed here and had an amazing time! Everyone who works at the inn is so friendly and personable and the location is just a short 3-7 min walk to shops, cafes, restaurants, coffee shops etc. The view is amazing from the main level and overlooks the river with boats passing by all day. There’s a deck where you can sit out back and have breakfast or just relax. They serve breakfast every morning ranging from quiche to homemade muffins & fruit. They even went above and beyond to make me homemade gluten free breakfast to accommodate my gluten allergy! There’s a free shuttle service you can call to go anywhere nearby as well. Saugatuck itself has so much to do and is also near Oval Beach, Holland & South Haven which are all great places to check out as well. The only downside is it is very hard to find parking and if you can’t find a spot, your only option is parking at a high school about a 10 minute walk away. Overall, this was my first time to the area and I was very impressed.

Google
What a disappointment. While the staff was very friendly and accommodating the room was very small and dingy. The ceiling looked like it was gonna fall down (drooping) The room definitely could have used a paint job. Way overpriced.

Absolutely loved our stay! We actually did not realize this was a B&B until we got there and it made it that much better! The morning breakfast was delicious and the location could not have been more perfect. So close to all the cute shops and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our time at Bayside Inn. We were on the third floor with a nice water view. We ate the full breakfast each day and there was always some kind of quiche, fruit and bread, along with cereal/oatmeal options. They have a nice patio with several tables on it to enjoy also. The hosts were accomodating with our group, allowing us to play games and eat ice cream at night in the common area. Good things nearby include Saugataco (my favorite) and the Star of Saugatuck paddlewheel cruise. We enjoyed the arts and craft show in the nearby park as well. Unfortunately the chain ferry was closed for the season.

Google
Bayside is a wonderfully unique experience. It has the old school charm of a bed and breakfast combined with the privacy of a clean hotel. We’ve stayed two different times, once in the main guest house and most recently in the #9 suite and loved both. Great location on the water and easy walking to shops and restaurants. The inn keepers have always been helpful and engaging. We look forward to our next visit

Yelp
I have been coming here for many ,many years and this is the first time in 2 years that I can honestly say the place has gone down. The hot tub was not working for years when we asked and she said "yeah, we have to update our website. Also, the food is a lot of processed carbs. Regular toast would suffice instead of bagels and muffins and raisin bread. This seems to be run by young girls and coffee time and breakfast has gotten later. Char use to run the desk and she did an excellent job. Went for coffee at 740 (served at 730) no coffee out before we were checking out. Love the Kalamazoo river great location but it getting where it looks unkept and need remodeling. Carpet on steps was filthy.

Yelp
We absolutely cannot wait to come back next year! The Innkeepers are so helpful, kind, hospitable and welcoming. They go well above and beyond any expectations I had. The food was delicious and home cooked. The Inn was very clean. The view from the back is of the water and you can eat right on the patio by the docks. I highly highly highly recommend this place! We had room one and we couldn't have been happier. Super close to downtown area and all the shops and food!

Yelp
We stayed in February and had a wonderful time. Amy was great and answered all of our questions, breakfast was very well done and offered a lot of options even during COVID. Very clean and comfy BNB, and very nice to be right on the water. Wonderful location and room 1 with the deck was lovely too. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
What a great place. Location right along the river was wonderful place to wake up! We were scheduled to be in room 1, but there was a leak so they upgraded us to a suite which was very nice. Lots of room, great little fireplace. The kitchenette was nice, even though we really didn't use it. Breakfast was good, snacks and coffee out at all times. The blueberry muffins were great. The staff was wonderful, gave us a map and told us where everything was and how to get there. Can't say enough nice things about the staff. We were here offseason and our room was ready, so they let us check in early which was awfully nice of them to do. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about this place. I really wish we could have stayed more than 2 nights. It's a great option for a girl's weekend at the Tulip Festival. We reserved the waterfront suite with fireplace, room 10 which has been updated slightly from these pictures posted, although these pictures give good insight into how it looks. We were even more impressed than expected with this place. It's a great option for 3-4 people and is right on the water with a balcony on the first and second floor. It is definitely large enough for a family of 4 and maybe even 5 with the couch. Large kitchen and 1.5 baths. The staff was very accommodating and we could not have been happier with warm breakfast every morning. Excellent place and I would definitely stay again if I were ever in that area.

Yelp
We stayed there for two nites ( room 6)this week to celebrate our 40 anniversary and my 65. We were disappointed in the room itself for the price we paid. It was small, and only two small shelves for bathroom items. The thermostat was not in the room and had to be controlled by the front desk. Did get cold at night. We did have a nice view with a small balcony to sit out on .Luckily it was one of the few rooms with a ref from what I understood. We have to go up to flights if very narrow steps with carpet that was dirty and needs to be replaced. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did have a nice hot breakfast with fresh fruit. However they did not start serving until 8:30 or even later. Would of been nice to have it ready by 8 am for guest who need to leave early especially on check out day. It is in a great location which I'm sure is one of the reasons for the high prices. But overall they do need to some updates on the property.

Yelp
Nice place. Some rooms are bigger than others so check online before you book. Really nice staff. Great breakfast and snacks are out all day. Great view of the river particularly if you are on the top floors. Common room has a gas fireplace, wifi, and public computer. Hot tub outside was used every day by guests and the Inn is within walking distance to downtown stores. The bigger rooms have a nice sitting area and all have cable tv. The staff had great recommendations on where to go. It would a be a great place to get a few couples or a family to have a little retreat. Great value!

Yelp
We have stayed here twice now and it is just the best. It is so cozy, convenient to everything & has amazing views on the water. We had a water view the first time w/a private deck & it was wonderful; this past time we spontaneously decided to stay after having lunch so could only get room w/a town view, but it didn't matter bc we just brought our wine and sat on their common patio area overlooking the boats go by on the water. The staff is so friendly & accommodating & they put out snacks & have games, magazines and TONS of dvds! We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Yelp
This is a wonderful, old-fashioned seaside inn nestled in the heart of Boothbay Harbor. The views are stunning, the owners are friendly and efficient, and the rooms are spotless! The food was wonderful. We had a lovely room and a very comfortable bed. The location is excellent, as you can walk around town easily. I highly recommend this wonderful gem in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.

Yelp
Rented suite #7 on the water for a birthday getaway. Great room with lots of space. Fireplace was easy and so nice to sit by drinking a glass of wine. The bed was comfortable, the jacuzzi tub was nice. It was exactly what I wanted for my weekend away from busy metro detroit! The Inn Keeper was wonderful.

Yelp
It was our first time at Bayside Inn and our first stay at a bed & breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we really liked it. Breakfast every morning was delicious and plentiful, staff extremely friendly & helpful with planning our days in Saugatuck. Lots of amenities, hot tub on site, menus to every restaurant in Saugatuck area, free WiFi, DVD rentals available (free), access to a heated pool across the river. Bayside Inn, we will be back!!

Yelp
Lovely, modern B&B conveniently located in downtown Saugatuck right along the river. The staff is very friendly and offered great suggestions for places to dine, things to do, etc. The breakfast was delicious and you can choose to eat in the main dining room, on the dock along the riverside or at your private deck which is included with all rooms. We especially enjoyed drinking some wine from the local tasting rooms and playing games on our deck that overlooked the street area (riverside would have been nicer, but those rooms were booked). They have a hot tub at this premise and we used the swimming pool at their sister resort across the river. Very reaonable prices for a tourist town and walkable to everything in the downtown area...so just leave your car parked and enjoy your stay.

Yelp
Well, let me start by saying this place was the last stop of our vacation, and so we were a bit weary, but nevertheless looking forward to our stay at the Bayside. Judy, at the front desk, couldn't have been nicer, and she was really the highlight of our stay. The room we had(#6) was nice, but it was up two steep sets of stairs (not much fun to lug up your gear---especially at the end of your vacation. ). The view was lovely---right on the water. I guess the main reasons we can't rave about this place were as follows: there are no temperature controls in the room, you had to call down to the desk and have them adjust the temperature; there was no coffee maker in the room; there was no early coffee in the common area downstairs either ( we found this out after descending the two flights of stairs around 6:30 am); and, we missed out on the breakfast because we left before 8 am. Seems like we were penalized big time for being early risers. If you sleep late, have young knees, and don't mind no early coffee, this place would be wonderful. We, however, probably wouldn't go back because we expected something more for the price we had to pay.

Yelp
What an easy and low-key stay! We stayed in the cheapest, smallest room available and it was perfect! Still had our own private balcony in addition to the great common spaces (the hot tub looking over the harbor is a clear favorite). Perfect location, wonderful staff, and an amazing breakfast.

Yelp
Excellent getaway from city live. Friendly staff and very helpful. Rooms are very clean, located on or near the river and close to downtown shopping. Only negative aspect of the stay would be the shower head. Strong and not adjustable. Would highly recommend a weekend stay.

Yelp
The ONLY downside; the weather. It was cold. That meant we had to stay indoors most of the time and the Bayside Inn was the best place to do that. Room 4 was very spacious and the view overlooked the Kalamazoo River. While not a Lake Michigan view, it was as close to a New England fishing town as you can get. The breakfast Quiche on Saturday was very good and the French Toast casserole on Sunday was incredible. Charlou and Kathy should be paid by the Sagautuck Visitors bureau as official marketing representatives as both knew all the spots to visit and things to do. If they did not know something they just made calls to see what was going on. They were very helpful. I highly recommend Bayside if you want to stay in downtown Sagautuck.

Yelp
My wife and I checked out a few B&B when we got into Saugatuck and Bayside was the nicest. It's nothing glamorous, but the rooms are nice and the service was top notch. Kathy was incredibly friendly from the moment we walked in. She provided good recommendations for food and then cooked an amazing breakfast the next morning. Overall our stay was pleasant and we would recommend it to others.
