I’ve been visiting Bayt Al Wakeel in Bur Dubai for over a decade, and somehow this iconic spot continues to impress me. It’s more than just a restaurant , it’s a place where family's memories are created, and where tradition and hospitality come alive.
The fresh fish, the perfectly cooked meats, and the consistency of the flavors all these years are genuinely remarkable. But what truly sets Bayt Al Wakeel apart is not only the food, it’s the warmth of the people and the soul of the place.
As one of Bur Dubai’s oldest restaurants, it carries a charm that’s hard to find nowadays. The wooden terraces overlooking the Creek, the laid‑back atmosphere, and the feeling of stepping into old Dubai make every visit special.
And despite the stunning views, the quality of the food, and the high level of service, the prices remain surprisingly reasonable. In a city where dining often comes with a premium, Bayt Al Wakeel continues to offer great value without compromising on authenticity or experience.
A special thanks to Fe & Haris, their smiles, kindness, and genuine care make every visit feel personal. They are a huge part of why this place keeps drawing me back after all these years.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that blends heritage, great food, heartfelt hospitality, and fair pricing, Bayt Al Wakeel remains a true Dubai classic.
