I was looking for a typical restaurant to taste authentic oriental cuisine and I wasn't disappointed! What's more, the place is in the old part of Dubai, which enhanced that authentic feeling! I started with the Labneh and cheese rolls (with local Akawi cheese). It was really good! For the main course, I chose the sea bream, which was the fish of the day, and finished with a mint tea. You won't go home hungry, as the portions are generous. Finally, I'd like to highlight the quality and friendliness of the service! Go there with eyes closed! ❤️

First off Ahmed Raza is the best person you can have as a waiter. We consider ourselves lucky to have found this place years back (can’t believe I didn’t review earlier) and every time we’re in Abu Dhabi or Dubai we make sure to visit Ahmed. The food is amazing as well as the history of the restaurant itself. I would make some recommendations but rest assured whatever Ahmed Raza recommends, never disappoints. If you have time take a walk thru the restaurant and go thru its long history which brings you to the present which has great views, food, staff, and atmosphere. Hope everyone enjoys as much as we have over the years.

We chose from the seafood menu, and it was delicious. The staff and service were excellent. I recommend this restaurant in the area.

I've been there three times over the last 17 years and the quality remains superb with a great position on the river, delicious juices, and just amazing meats. Not the easiest place to find, but worth hunting out.

Great heritage restaurant built in 1935. Cuisine is modern Lebanese. The food is delicious and the ambience is good just next to the Creek waterway. Thanks to Raza and the rest of the service team for the warm hospitality.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while walking around the textile market in Bur Dubai. We had just taken the Abra back after seeing the Gold Souq and we’re looking for a place to have lunch. The restaurant looked nice and had good reviews so we decided to give it a shot. The ambience was cozy and inviting. We dined on the deck at the water front that even has glass floor so you can see the creek water underneath. I’m sure the evening ambience at this place must be magical. We had grilled Sea Bream (a local variant). I loved the fish. We also had rice with some local curry and it was delicious as well. I would def recommend a meal here.
