Bayt Alice

Super sweet and helpful staff but besides that couldn't really understand the reviews and the price point. Most expensive one in my trip to Morocco and didn't really deliver. |Rooftop is nice (but there's many of these). Everything is clean but super basic and a bit rundown, extremely noisy inside and outside (i get it, outside is the medina - it's fine). Location is fine but nothing special. This didn't feel cozy. |Amenities super basic, barely any hot water pressure.

Great vibes with a good price! Staff were very friendly and joins on the rooftop. Good rooftop with shade. Free coffee/tea in the morning. Wifi works great.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable—they were incredibly helpful, caring, and always up for a good conversation. They even provided transportation to the airport, which was super convenient. The hostel itself was spotless, with great accommodations and a cozy atmosphere. One of the highlights was the rooftop—it’s absolutely stunning! I spent hours relaxing on the hammock, watching the stars, even in the chilly February weather. The common areas are inviting, and the food and tea provided were such a nice touch. The only small downside was the glass window in the bathroom of the mixed 4-bed dorm, which didn’t offer much privacy. Other than that, everything was perfect. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming stay!

Booked a private (2 person) room, which was clean and comfortable. Location is a central, in the heart of the old medina, but is not the cleanest, however it is very safe, and the hostel itself is clean and pleasant. The rooftop is the stand out feature - it is a great place to hang out and meet people. Service was 10/10 - great place to stay in Tangier!!! Thank you Bayt Alice.

This hostel is just amazing, the location is in the heart of the old Medina so everything’s close, I slept in a dormitory a room of 6 people and the room was clean we had lockers, the rooftop has an amazing view on the Medina, the decoration of the hostel is amazing, it’s like traveling back at time. The only downside that I found is that there was a leak in the ceiling and water was leaking out from it in the corner of the ground level. Apart from that it’s perfect and I paid approximately 130 dh per night which is great value. If I go to Tanger I’d definitely come back here.

This is an incredible hostel, extremely clean and orderly, beautiful architecture, and the hospitality is unmatched. You can step out of the hostel and reach the medina markets in less than a minute by foot. It is also very safe, with locks on the main door, locks on each bedroom door, and individual lockers under the beds. The terrace is beautiful as well, you will fall in love with the view of the city.
