Bayview Hotel Langkawi

Recommend as the best hotel in Langkawi. Such spacious rooms, pool and sauna service is complementary, the washrooms are very clean and they provide great toiletries. Had a wonderful stay. Their breakfast buffet is also highly recommended. Our visit was so beautiful because of this hotel. Its location is also very nice. The staff is very sweet and welcoming. And the view from the room window. I could stare at the whole Langkawi all day long!

While the room size and service were satisfactory, my New Year’s Eve stay was deeply disappointing. I booked a Premier room at a premium rate to celebrate with my family, but the hotel failed to provide any festive atmosphere. The "Gala Dinner" ended early at 11:00 PM with a dead ambiance and no music, the in-house pub was lifeless, and there wasn't even a countdown to midnight. Regarding the accommodations, the carpet felt outdated and the bedding was quite uncomfortable. On a positive note, the location is excellent, with a 7-Eleven and Indian restaurants just across the street. I also enjoyed the complimentary high tea and the variety of snacks provided. While the breakfast buffet offered many choices, the actual taste of the food was inconsistent. Overall, this hotel is fine for a standard stay, but I regret choosing it for a special occasion like New Year’s Eve.

World-class facilities. Personalised TV screen with my name to welcome me! I enjoyed the small touches like the real moneyplant on the desk and the bowl of fruits prepared for me. Sitting at the marble table taking in the view of Kuah Harbour was amazing! Bayview Hotel never fails to disapoint me with their hospitality and well-appointed interior decor: marble furnishings, sculptures and spacious lobbies- it effortlessly and timelessly conveys classic charm. ||The hotel is very accessible from Kuah Jetty, just a 2 min drive with clear traffic. Parking is ample and available on site. Service staff I encountered were enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. Excellent – 10/10!

I had a very pleasant stay at Bayview Hotel Langkawi. The staff were extremely humble, polite, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more comfortable. The services were excellent and well-managed throughout the stay. The breakfast was a highlight — it had a wide variety of options that catered to different cuisines and truly satisfied every kind of craving. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Langkawi.

Solid stay with a great view and perfect location We had a very pleasant stay at Bay View. While the hotel is a bit older, it is well-maintained and offers excellent value for money in Langkawi. • Location: Perfectly situated in the heart of Kuah. Very easy to find food, duty-free shopping, and it’s just a short drive to the Jetty Point. • The Room: We had a sea-view room, and waking up to the sight of the bay was the highlight. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. • Service: The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth. • Amenities: The pool area is nice for a quick dip, and the breakfast spread had a good variety of local and international options. It’s not a brand-new luxury resort, but if you want a reliable, clean, and central place to stay, this is a great choice.

I had a pleasant stay at Bayview Hotel Langkawi. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with everything I needed including an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, kettle and a TV with a great selection of movies. All the facilities were excellent and well-maintained. The staff were professional and friendly, especially the bellboy who was very helpful in handling my heavy luggage. From the concierge and maintenance team to the room service and breakfast hall crew, everyone made my stay comfortable and welcoming. The only thing I hope the hotel can improve is the parking area. There’s no basement or covered parking, so guests have to walk from the open car park, which can be inconvenient on rainy days. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

The Bayview Hotel is a nice property in Kuah.|We initially booked the room with mountain view. There is scope of improvement as we found the quality was not upto the mark. Window paint was peeling off and towels were not good. Later we changed to Sea view room, there everything was fine. They have good food options for Indians (specifically vegetarians) for Breakfast. Also we loved the High tea served. Overall it was a nice experience. A word of advice on location. Kuah is laid back part of Langkawi. You would like it if you like peaceful environment but if you are coming to Langkawi with party mood find something near to Cenang area.

Room was decent and spacious. Good facilities like kids play area, spa, swimming pool. Because it is a old hotel, the room had a smell which is normally in old AC or furniture, which wasn’t pleasant(literally bought a room freshner for the stay). Pillow and bedding could be improved. Also, i checked in at evening time and got no help from the hotel staff with the bags.
