Bayview Village Shopping Center has positioned itself as its target audience with high-income people with its brands that appeal to the upper middle class. It is selected accordingly in stores. It is a very enjoyable Mall to spend time in. There are places to eat, have coffee and dessert next to many stores, which is good for resting when you are tired of shopping. It is also extra important that there are 2 markets (Loblaws and Pusateri's). You can find whatever you are looking for here. My favorite store was LCBO. A very stylish, special LCBO with a lot of variety. I think it's the best after Summerhill. You can go there just for that reason. I will definitely go again. I recommend it to you too.

Google
Very convenient for Loblaws but it’s a weird shopping centre. Expensive and mostly empty shops the busiest it ever appears to be is as we get into the bad weather and the place fills up with older people milling about. It will need to reinvent with shops appealing to a younger hipper crowd to survive unless it all gets turned into condos.

I haven't visited the Bayview Village Shopping Centre for at least 20 years. It has changed a lot and have more parking now. It has been transformed to a very classy shopping mall with many famous brand names shops. It's really refreshing to walk around this shopping mall, very clean, bright and spacious. Will come back again soon.

What all other community malls should be. It keeps reinventing itself with the times and keeps itself relevant. Easygoing, chill feel when walking through the place. It boasts the best public washrooms in the GTA - visiting the washrooms themselves is worth the visit. Redevelopment has begun with new towers and an outdoor mall on the North side. Hopefully TTC plays ball this time and integrates the subway station stop with the mall. You would think that's a no brainer but such is the case with Toronto public transit.

Google
This mall is well maintained. Even though they did not have the most popular stores here, but they did have some unique brands and middle class stores that are not available elsewhere. There were two really nice supermarkets with high quality grocery and a big LCBO store. They did not have a food court at the mall, however, there were a few nice decor dine in coffee shops and restaurants available. I enjoyed shopping at this mall because it was less crowded than other shopping malls on weekends.

Google
Not a large mall, but certainly a cozy, higher end, well maintained and designed space. You’ll find a good sized Loblaws store here for all your food and household needs and a small Pusateri’s market for more eclectic and gourmet type options. This mall had ample parking spread out between a couple levels and I had no problem finding parking on a weekend. Lots of options for eating from a small open court area at one end to an area with multiple small bistro type sit down restaurants at the other end that ere a little cozier and had a nice feel. A good variety of higher end retail shops from clothing to shoes to jewelry and some designer shops as well. There were a number of areas that were not occupied but there appeared to be shops coming to these areas soon. Washroom areas were super clean and accessible, and there were lots of areas to sit and relax and each featured comfortable seating and nice decor. Overall a very nice experience walking and shopping Bayview Village and I would definitely return.

Came to this centre for a facial at the Spa and was in awe at how luxurious this mall felt. Everything was clean and upscale, it definitely makes you want to spend some money and enjoy the calm clean atmosphere. Traffic around here is a little nuts but worth checking out. Mind you I was coming for my appointment at 5:30pm so it was peak hours. Will be back to shop!!

Google
Bayview Village is such a cozy, upscale mall with a great mix of boutiques and dining. One of my favorite spots there is Legs Beautiful—hands down the best stocking store in the city! They have everything from classic styles to more fashion-forward pieces, all top quality. Definitely a go-to if you love good hosiery.

Yelp
This is an upscale mall which has tons of parking and easily accessible by subway, walking distance to Bayview Station at Sheppard. Nice to walk around and shop if you are into upscale fashion.

Yelp
Bayview Village use to be one of the better places to go for a Santa Claus picture.... but not anymore :-( They decided to dress Santa up in a designer outfit that quite honestly looked a bit ridiculous (he now wears a red vest rather than a traditional red jacket). The setting has been downgraded to simply boring.... and the photographer's flash was too bright which makes people look ghostly (i.e. the picture lacks skin colour or natural tone)... and the digital copy provided is smaller than 4gbs. Two thumbs down!!

Yelp
I used to hang out a lot at Bayview Village when I was an undergraduate student. My home college was Glendon College and often had a few hours between classes. To kill some time, I'd take the Bayview 11 bus up to this mall to hang out. This mall has changed a ton. Back then, there was Kmart and Black's Photography. Yep, I'm dating myself and don't care! Over the years, this mall has transformed into a high-end, boutique-dominated, snooty shopping centre. I remember coming here with a good friend a decade ago. We were browsing around a kitchen accessories store. A woman came over to let us know that she was closing in fifteen minutes due to a "function." I frankly think that she didn't think highly of us being there and not buying anything. We were in jeans and sweatshirts. She made us feel underdressed. I couldn't tell you whether this store is still alive and kicking, but hope that her attitude has been worked on since. I don't recognize most store in this mall these days. The only restaurant that I remember, and is still there, is Oliver & Bonacini. Shoppers Drug Mart, and Loblaws remain there. That's all that is familiar to me. There used to be a restaurant in the mall parking lot called Sunshine's. I met a couple of friends there years ago and loved the food. It is long gone in favour of Parcheggio, which is a part of the Oliver & Bonacini's umbrella of eateries. I will need to check it out someday. During this second lockdown during the pandemic, the mall is open for takeout and curbside pickup only. I came here recently after many years of being away. Bloomer's, a vegan bakery, had set up shop. It did not disappoint and I am hooked on their amazing variety of handmade doughnuts. Trying to find this bakery was a pain. I parked facing Sheppard Avenue East. There are three entrances. I chose the middle one in hopes to locating a directory to find Bloomer's. Guess what? The directory did not list Bloomer's at all. I realize that it's a new business, but it has been kicking around for perhaps a month by now. Wouldn't that be enough time to either reprint the directory (it's not digital) or place a cute sticker on it to indicate Bloomer's location? I do have a beef with the directory. It's the writer in me. The map of stores appears to be handwritten and in hot pink. It looks like a brainstorming session. The font size varies. It's like doing an eye test to figure out the tiny print. The words in the hand-drawn map are in capital block letters, which makes reading even more difficult. Folks read better when there are a natural mix of uppercasing and lowercasing, like the actual business names listed underneath. So, I walked up and down the aisle of stores. I didn't find Bloomer's. You also can't make a left or right and walk the horizontal aisle. The mall has closed off that section, as they appear to be all boutiques. You have to walk back to the entrance, exit, and find another entrance to do the same thing. It's inconvenient, but I get it. I felt like I was a contestant on Let's Make a Deal. Should I try entrance 1 or 3 for Bloomer's? Entrance 1 had a huge Scotiabank. Entrance 3 had Pusateri's, which used to be where Chapters was. I went with entrance 1. I just thought it would be convenient to take out money to get baked goods. The gamble paid off! I found Bloomer's. Perhaps that's another reason why I don't drop by Bayview Village. I loved that Chapters, which was where Kmart used to be years past. This Chapters had been there for nearly twenty years. It was cozy and I have nice memories hanging out and reading. Bayview Village a medium-sized mall. Its branding consists of using hot pink. The parking lot lines are all hot pink, as is the crazy-looking hand-drawn directory. The good news is that I dropped by wearing my usual casual attire on weekends. No one made me feel that I was underdressed or couldn't afford anything. At least that odd vibe has disappeared. It still isn't my favourite mall, but Bloomer's makes me happy revisiting. Perhaps when this pandemic is over, I will feel more inclined to shop at a mall like I used to and rediscover this one some more. (451)

Yelp
I. Love. This. Mall. You would never recognize this place compared to a couple of decades ago. This is what I consider to be the Yorkville North experience of Toronto. Most of the stores here are very high end; in some cases, stores like perhaps Andrews, you may not even know exist, because they only have locations here and in Yorkville. Shopping here is a real pleasure. It is nowhere near as circuslike as Yorkdale. Okay, you don't have the Bulgari AND Tiffany's AND Cartier, etc., like you will find at Yorkdale; but I absolutely adore the cleanliness, decor, space, and lack of craziness, that you will find here. Perfect example: These bathrooms have to be top contender for the cleanest, most beautiful, public bathrooms on the planet. I considered taking photos of them but thought that could just be a bit too weird ... Seriously though, other reviews are saying the same thing, and with substantiated reason. There are lots of seating areas, some with tables in front of the Lettieri or other cafes; some, just big comfy chairs, complete with rugs and tables; and even the most casual seating between the shopping aisles, are large, comfy stools with more than enough room for your purse (or murse as the case may be). Parking is plentiful. There are all kinds of restaurants, from Oliver & Bonacini to the humble South St. Burger, etc. There's even a proper Loblaws for the humble slobs like myself who only come here as an occasional indulgence, and still need to get mundane errands like grocery shopping done. The Wi-Fi requires an e-mail sign-in if you're not using e.g. the Starbucks one. I presume I only need do this once as experienced with other malls like said Yorkdale shopping mall and Vaughan Mills. I could spend every Sunday afternoon here if I wouldn't wind up depressed thinking about all the beautiful items I can't afford. Otherwise, this is hands down what I consider the best mall in the entire GTA.

Shannon B.

Yelp
Do not buy a gift card from them. Our friend got us a $100 gift card. We had a new born baby and then the pandemic happened. By the time we used it there was only $25 left on the card. I consider this to be stealing. Did they bother to help us or fix the situation? No they did not. I will not be shopping there ever again.

Yelp
Time was, Bayview Village was the destination for high end retail if you didn't want to make the trek downtown. At various points it was anchored by a K mart, a liquor store, a Chapters, and held a succession of modestly priced breakfast joints and one of the city's seminal szechuan specialty restaurants (here's to you, Yen Ching). Today, the prices continue to outstrip inflation, but the more familiar names have been replaced with a series of independent shops...whether this is because the mall is desirable or because most chains have decamped due to lack of business, I'll leave for others to determine. Still, Bayview Village feels like it's in transition. The bookstore is gone, replaced by a hair salon and a ballet school (?). The mediocre restaurant in the parking lot has been replaced by two mediocre Oliver and Bonacini offerings (smoked meat! pizza! expensive!); new restaurants offer gluten free baking and high concept Indian and (I think) Indonesian food, alongside an increasingly incongruous typical Thai food court joint. Pusateris, a high-end grocer of $35 lysol wipe infamy now anchors one side, while an ever-renovating Loblaws till holds the other. Brooks Brothers has come and gone. The Gap remains, a surprising holdout given their wave of closures. If you want an expensive hair cut, this is the place; there are multiple salons and barbers. The Southwest corner of the parking lot is now home to a gigantic boat-shaped condo, and I understand more are on their way. Altogether, Bayview Village seems less like the malls I visit and more like Yorkville Village-the former Hazelton Lanes. Neither mall really has a foothold any more, which in Bayview Village's case is shame-the neighbourhood is changing and growing increasingly population dense as condos continue to spring up along the Bayview subway line.

Yelp
It's small shopping centre with high end retail stores and nice restaurants. It also has a big Loblaws store, Shoppers Drug Mart and my favorite part of the shopping mall : LCBO. The LCBO store here is amazing and you can find great white wine, rose, red whine, beer and liquor. Most of the stores are dedicated to women's fashion and the variety is limited. Nice spot to browse a bit and meet up with friends and family.

Yelp
Upscale and relatively small mall with some great dining options. I just like that it's really clean nearly all the time, so if we're in the area, we sometimes come here just to kill an hour or so. Not much to say really because I don't shop fashion here ($$$$) but we enjoy checking out the pastry shops and stuff. Pick up something at LCBO to go with your dessert from pusateris!

Yelp
A high end mall in North York that is very expensive. It has good restaurants including Oliver and Bonacini as well as Il Fornello. Pusateri's is a high end grocery store at this wonderful mall. There are multiple salons and barbers for a nice and expensive haircut. The mall has plentiful parking and is considered by many to be a quieter and more relaxed yet high end mall. It's extremely clean and not too big of a mall but instead is only medium sized.

Yelp
3.5 I have to be fair in my review. I have not been there in years, but I needed a decent quality leather belt, and figured we'd go in there. Lots of stores, clearly not doing too well (by appearances). Not much of a variey and expensive. I will pay - but it has to be worth it (Brooks Brothers is there and they are consistent - cut above, classy and not ostentatious). The "mall" is clean. But what makes this place deserving of an almost 4 star is their spotlessly, spotlessly clean toilets/washroom. I have a phobia about public toilets - this place is spotless. Otherwise, can't see myself coming back to shop here.

Yelp
The mall itself is lovely.. However I don't understand some of the shops, very random brands side by side with generic stores and some wonderful independent designers. I would love to see some truly high end shops come here in addition to pink tartan and brooks brothers. I'm not sure when dogs were allowed into the mall, but I think its an accident waiting to happen. As it stands I don't want to sit in the sidewalk restaurants anymore... Some of the dogs are taller than the 'fences'

Yelp
I give Bayview Village Shopping Centre a 3 star. 2 Stars for the Mall itself. I enjoy shopping at the New Balance Store, Walk around and window shopping at the merchandise that those little stores offer. 5 Stars for their public washrooms. Yes, this Mall has the best public washrooms I been too! Each individual stalls has their own touchless faucet, soap dispenser and upright hand dryer. http://www.english.dysonairblade.ca/ Now I am talking about privacy!! And it is one of the cleanest I been to in any Malls in North America!! The lighting and material they use for the doors, the tiles are all top grade! At least Bayview Village got me excited when I went to use their washrooms.

Yelp
As I'm still (as of this writing) trying to shake off a sake-and-rum-infused drunken stupor after spending the weekend at a friend's place in North York, I will limit this review to a good/bad breakdown: (Good) - Huge parking lots; you'll never have a problem finding a spot in the mall - Some interesting stores that evoked memories (for me) of certain outlet stores in Buffalo, with the layout and selection to match, like the furniture store across from the LCBO - A nice mix of high-end chains, restaurants (Oliver & Bonacini) and lesser-known brands - Some people may not like the dim lighting throughout the mall, but I quite appreciate it. Gives the place a more intimate feeling. (Bad) - This is definitely not a mall for everyone. Just walking in here will make you feel like you're not dressed, and I showed up wearing dress pants and a sweater. Everyone marches through the place with a look of snotty disdain on their faces - even their children! - A lot of the shops feel very overpriced. This is the developer's bed and they made it, so I can't say too much, but it's not really for me. I get the sense that this place wants to compete with Yorkdale Mall. - The maps for the mall are written out in this weird cutesy-crayon-style font, and it's an eyesore to read. It shouldn't have been that difficult to have the LED/interactive maps like they have at Square One in Mississauga. Bayview also needs more of these maps strewn throughout the mall, not just at each end. In the end, Bayview Village was a decent little mall with some interesting shops. Not sure if I'd go back in the future, but I enjoyed the experience nonetheless.

Yelp
This store has some pretty 'neat' stores (there's a store in there literally called neat which focuses on organization which I absolutely love!) Lots of great restaurants around the area: Origin, O&B, Il Fornello, some healthy chinese restaurant (that's all the ones I've been to at least) and other restaurants of your choosing. There's an Aroma, Starbucks and a high end grocery store coffee in the area for the coffee drinkers out there. Just a few tips from experiences I've had in this mall: Parking: Generally, I don't have any issues with parking, however, if I see no spots closer to the front of the mall, I usually just go to the back and park without having to fight for spots closer. Little did I know the spot I parked at was a private property area and I was only allowed to park there for two hours. Got a parking ticket from that (oops). A friend later took a picture of the sign for me. Just thought they could've made more signs. Washrooms: The public washrooms are really nice I must say. However, when you choose to wait for a friend outside the washroom, there was a spa store (don't remember the name of it) with a sales person who will drag you into the store trying to entice you to buy their products. It was just an awkward experience for me as she was rubbing my hands and nails for quite a while (when I really was not interested in the product). It felt like a while but I was probably just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Andrews: High end women's fashion store that can fix your longchamp bags for free :)

Yelp
I had a gift card for the mall for $100. Service fees started kicking in and within a few months, the balance was down to $26. They refused to do anything about it. They said all other malls have the same policy, but this is simply not true, case and point Yorkdale mall. What are the service fees for, anyways? The majority of the stores in the mall are fashion stores for the upwardly mobile. Also, the mall is not very stroller friendly.

Yelp
Bayview Village, you've really grown on me. I love you enough to give you an extra star for your ability to drive away mall rats and creeps. I can't afford much here but I like it that way. I spend less AND this mall has become a pleasure to visit since the renovations. Haute indeed. The bathrooms here are phenomenal. Private rooms and clean, clean, clean. I love the fact that I can walk around this mall and not have to deal with mall rats. The only occasional annoyance are the over-indulgent parents who believe it's adorable that their kidlet has plopped down on the floor, forcing pedestrians to quickly dart out of the way of said darling brat. Hint hint - it's not cute. Haters - don't come after me for disliking children. I simply believe children are best enjoyed when they are not used as speed bumps for shoppers. I shed a few tears for the dearly departed A&W, but I'm over it now. South Street Burger is on the way!

Yelp
A few years ago, the stores here used to focus on rich housewives and socialites. There were many boutiques by Canadian designers. The only stores inexpensive were LCBO, Loblaws and Chapters. I just dropped by today and noticed some slightly less expensive stores, such as Swarovski and Masterminds. I do enjoy and appreciate the classy and leisure atmosphere and the style of the mall. However, because I am not really into very high end stores, I find it very boring to spend 3 hours here. If you are their clientele, I am sure this is a beautiful mall in which to spend a few hours for you. Three things are noteworthy: 1) There is free WIFI available with login using cellphone number. 2) The mall washrooms are private washrooms. Each stall is equipped with individual hand washing basin and hand blow dryer. 3) No food court. The dining options are all restaurants, bistros and eateries.

Yelp
Bayview Village or just Bayview as my family calls it, is probably my favourite shopping mall. It's pretty much one stop shopping here - grocery stores, heaps of restaurants, coffee shops, the LCBO, and clothing stores. There's a huge parking lot, which is great for people driving here. A couple of years ago, BV had a makeover - and it's super cool now. Good for: shopping, hanging out
google avatar

Yelp
Too rich for my blood. This place feels like a place that a rich woman made to make her feel better than other women. Very clean and very bright but very expensive.
google avatar

Kristy N.

Yelp
Parking is never a problem in this mall! Walking in from the Pusateries (the grocery store) side, I expected the mall to be a little brighter with much higher ceilings, but nevertheless was clean. Back then, it was one of the most expensive malls I have ever seen with small shops that sold expensive items. For instance, some of the necklaces that you can find similar versions of at Forever 21 or Ebay for under $15, they are selling for $120. Definitely breaks your wallet. One of the least expensive things you can get here is probably David's Tea. Other than that, I suppose if you're down to spend a lot of $$$, or you're just loaded and don't think any of these items are expensive, come here! Nowadays, they have added a couple not so expensive stores around here, which makes shopping much more affordable and convenient if you're not too big on purchasing big, but more on dining upscale.

I LIVED Across From Bayview Village For Seven Years And I Loved Shopping There! Loblaws Was My Favourite And Shoppers, Roots And The Gap!! Loved The Washrooms As They Were So Beautiful And Clean! I Shopped There A Few Times A Week!! Loved The Food Also!! I Wish I Still Lived In The Area But I Am Not In The Province Now!! I Recommend This Mall To Anyone! Miss It! Thanks!!

Yelp
I literally grew up in this mall. I have been going here since the mid 1980s. However, recently visiting the mall, I would say it has become a disaster. What was a very good and decent mall once, has now become a showcase for the rich and famous, and there's a hidden disclaimer, if you're non-White, the vast majority of the shopkeepers even at Gap and Banana Republic will treat you as second-class citizens. I don't know what the point of this mall is anymore. Yen Ching is gone, Max's was gone a long time ago, Il Fornello looks like a night club, Oliver and Bonacini has perhaps the most stuck-up staff and waiters, and Pearl has just downright bad food. The majority of stores are always empty, and the only two nationwide stores Gap and Banana Republic never have anything the other stores have. So, I ask again, what is the point of this mall now? Basically, it would be better if they closed the mall now, and replaced with a virtual mall. The average person will not notice the difference.
google avatar

Ali B.

Yelp
I go there almost 2, 3 times a week cuz I live across from the village. It's relatively a small upscale shopping mall located on Bayview n Sheppard. Some of the notable brands like Banana Republic, Pusateri, Loblaws, Starbucks, pottery barn...a few years back the management solved the parking space issues by building an underground. The mall itself is very clean and decorated nicely. One shortfall though is the lack of brands variety due to the mall small size.
google avatar

Hazel P.

Yelp
I don't usually shop here as most stuff is too expensive for my taste. But it is a nice mall though it's small. There are some great restaurants here & there's a Pusateri's here as well. Loblaws for the average person is larger & well stocked compared to some other locations. There's also a Chapters Indigo here, Shoppers Drug Mart & a Rogers store. So some good essential stores here.
google avatar

Adrienne W.

Yelp
I love this mall. As a matter of fact, it is one of my favourite malls. If they added a Lululemon in here, it would definitely be my favourite mall. The mall itself is gorgeous and has a very nice, comfortable ambiance to it when there aren't screaming children running around the place. The shops are extremely upscale shops including Pink Tartan and Brooks Brothers. There are stores more for the "younger" budget including Roots, Honey, Davids, Andrews, etc. They also have a Papyrus there, which makes me happy. For the baby fashionistas, there is Jacadi and Mari Pier Bimbi (which I believe sells super high fashion clothes for babies and seems to be empty ALL the time). Food wise, there is Oliver & Bonacini, Pearl, Edo, and a burger place. There is also an Origins outside of the mall. There are also multiple coffee shops around including Lettieri, Starbucks (inside Chapters), and Pusateris (sit-out area in front of the supermarket). Their washrooms are also very pretty. I was actually quite surprised the one time I went in to use their washroom. It also makes me smile that someone on here took a picture of the washroom - totally made my day :). A big bonus of this mall is that they are pet friendly! Most people bring their dogs but I'm sure that if you brought your cat in a leash or a carrier, they wouldn't mind as well...but hopefully your cat would be comfortable with all the pooches around here! Their concierge/information desk has a jar of cookies for those pampered pooches. I did witness a dog having a dump on the floors of Bayview Village, (in which my dog was absolutely appalled for such unthinkable behaviour :P); but the owner was very responsible and picked it right up and cleaned the area. Definitely bring some poop bags there just in case!! For any prospective franchise/shop owners here, wouldn't it be cool to make an upscale dog boutique there that sells high end couture for pups? I think so...!!

Yelp
LOL the secret is to come here right when it opens or right before it closes. you will most probably see old chinese men or women running laps around the mall. (i mean laps. they are all decked out in running gear and fanny packs also.) exercise at its best. who needs a gym?
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
Bayview village has had a serious make over since I last been which was past good ten years. This place is fitted with a lot of high end places even down to food places. Loblaws has been here for a long time and it just stick out as out of place. My only quirk with this place is that it not the easiest to navigate there is no central spot for certain things but you find your place around
google avatar

Joanne L.

Yelp
This is a review for their washrooms. Their washrooms are astounding. Upon entering, I was confused as to why there was only one sink for six stalls. Upon entering a stall, I discovered, to my delight, that each stall is outfitted with its own automatic toilet, sink, soap dispenser and hand dryer! It's like having your own personal bathroom! There's also no gaps between the door and the ceiling/floor, so there's no chance that creepers can get you (unless they pick the door or you leave it unlocked). The soap is courtesy of La Belle de Provence, if anyone's interested. The washroom is also one of the cleanest I've ever been to (public washrooms, that is). No icky washroom smell. The nursing area also looks super comfy (not that I used it).
google avatar

Jill C.

Yelp
Bayview Village, Just like Janna has stated, you've really grown on me. I come here at least once a week or more. Throughout the week, its usually a quiet place. Which it makes it nice to walk throughout the mall without having a bunch of people flying at you in different directions. It only seems to be a hangout for the seniors. I come here for my two new found addiction, David's Tea and Papyrus along with Chapters, Loblaws, LCBO, and Pusateri's.

Yelp
I am lowering my rating of this mall for the following reason. This is not a reflection on the individual businesses here, which I have no issue with patronizing: Yesterday, I needed to refill a prescription and pick up something at Loblaw's. I came in at 10 AM and the stores were already open. I went from one of the entrances to Shopper's and then was walking back towards Loblaws when one of the "concierges" asked me to come over. She said she had seen me walking around for a while and asked me rather insistently to join the "mall-walkers" club. Apart from the age-related insult (I am under 60 and no quite ready for "mall walking") I had not been in the mall that long and had entered after the store were open. After I confronted her rathet angrily and told her I was a shopper and not a mall walker, she dropped it. This whole situation could have been rectified if this mentally challenged piece of obnoxiousness had (1) followed something a teacher tought me in elementary school - when you "assume" you make an "ass" out of "u" and "me" and (2) simply asked if I was mall walking or shopping.

Yelp
I like this mall because it's on one level, and it has really wide laneways. Most of the stores aren't to my fancy because they ARE fancy. I mainly go here for Chapters, Loblaws, and the Liquor Store and you can have all of the high-end food and clothing shops. I like to bring my kids here and inflict them on the mallwalkers. There are a lot of seniors here. The mall was recently made over and I have to say it looks pretty classy. One knock against this place: why didn't they link up the subway to the mall? If you take the subway here you have to walk down a steep hill and across the lot to get to the mall. I'm suspicious that they don't want people in the mall who have to take the TTC.

Yelp
It's pretty. Like, really pretty. My wallet whimpers with fear just walking into the parking area for this place. Bayview Village has changed a lot since I was a kid. It used to be the mall that no one really wanted to go to. The library was nice and we ate at Max's a lot when we started getting allowance, but that was about it. There was nothing there. Suddenly they had a revamp. Nice restaurants started showing up. O&B moved in. The Loblaws started dominating, and the Chapters added a really nice touch. Nicer stores, fancier grocery options, and suddenly this place is pretty much out of my price range. But every now and then I like to stop by here again and marvel at the changes. The mall is beautiful. I've never had a parking issue, and it's got all the necessary stops you need for clothes, gifts or groceries. If you don't have time to window shop, you can come here. If you do have time to window shop and have some dollars to spend, then you should definitely come here. It's not your average mall - it oozes sophistication and classiness. I don't know why, but it's so far away from the mall I remember when I was growing up that I can't help but be impressed everytime I step inside. Bayview Village, you've grown up alright.

Yelp
I have to give credit to the stores in this mall, as they are always moving around in the mall. Not sure why, but it takes time, money to renovate the new store, and loss of cash flow while the store is closed so there must be some money made... For example, the whimsical Teatro Verde store has moved, making way for a bright, spoil-your-kid-rotten Mastermind store. The Capezio store has also moved. Now, BV is an ultra-luxury mall with Brooks Brothers, Pink Tartan, MO851 or something like that, Browns, Shoppers own Beauty Bar boutique and Jacardi and another store for kids selling little Mark Jacobs and Burberry. I rarely come here because the mall can get really crowded on weekends and the shopping experience is not that pleasant. The restaurants here are not bad and would be the only reason why I come here: O&B's Grill and SouthCo Burger. Oh yeah, there is also a CIBC where I come and deposit my money and cheques. I somehow feel the stores in this mall sell over priced goods just because they're cashing in on the vibe and upper-classness feel.I'm not the one to be duped. One of my favorite things to do is walk around on Sunday night if I'm having dinner and window shop when all the stores are closed. Less people and I love the smug feeling I get when I see something I got for, most likely, less than what is being asked for. 12/30

Yelp
I don't come here often as most stores are on the higher end. But I might be here for lunch (lots of choices), Blacks Photography (9 cent photos?!), David's Tea, Gap (for returns only)...hmm what else isn't jacked up here? I have to admit I used to walk around here more often prior to the renovations. Now everything seems a bit too pricy for me. Spoiled by over the border shopping prices... The mall isn't too busy. Parking is not a problem. The mall is gorgeous inside especially around festive occasions. Jen & Janna are so right about the bathrooms. SUPER clean... so pretty ! Wedluxe type of bathroom lol

Yelp
Gawd I hate this shopping centre. Situated nicely at the corner of Bayview & Sheppard, it's centrally located near both the 401 and the DVP, so it's relatively easy to get to. This shopping centre reminds me of a place rich old ladies go to "hang out" and "lunch together". It's sorta a ritz, poshy mall, which isn't really my style. But on the plus side it is really clean, and the mall is wide, and one storey, which is good for the wheelchairs.. I kidd I kidd! They have a lot of brand name stores or stores that sell expensive brand name stuff. Not too many teen/tween stores or the Gap or anything of that nature. It's a mature mall. The best thing about the mall is probably the combination of the Loblaws, the LCBO and the different restaurants. Other than that, I'd skip past this mall and make your way east to Fairview.

Yelp
This is a pretty fancy mall, but everything in here is so expensive. However, what I like about this place is: a) Pusateri's b) Lettieri c) Restoration Hardware I think that says enough about the demographic for this mall. However, it's great for walking around.

Yelp
Over rated mall with over rated no name stores and over rated prices to fuel their over rated lifestyles.

Yelp
GEEZER MALL GEEZER MALL. woe. did i say that out loud? well sorry folks, but its kinda true. not that i care in the least. ill never make it out there unless i need to. The mall is very clean; it has a tiles floor that at quick glance seems like a faux cobblestone road. very mildy. just a bit. okay im dreaming. there is lots of room to walk...thats either because its always dead or because its roomy. not sure which. when i went they had the trees that marked the centre line of hallways adorned with christmas lights. though there are stores here that are high on the big fashionable brand name stores, most of the places there are small business owners that are upscale in price. this is totally fine by me, as they know who their clientele is. while there are food places there, it is not filled with your standard food court, but rather with better albeit more expensive fare. It has much better food choices than grander malls like Yorkdale for example. I would go there for specialty stores like New Balance or Barbuti. If i could afford it that is. hopefully one day... WHEN IM A GEEZER!

Yelp
This mall is really great! It's less busy than Yorkdale, Eaton Center or Promenade and most of the employees are very friendly and helpful. You definitely get great customer service while shopping at this mall (something I look for). It's definitely a great mall to shop at!

Yelp
Very clean mall. Lots of parking spots but can get busy whenever there are big sales. Go there mainly for Banana Rep stuff. Washrooms are amazingly gorgeous. Ok, also go there for the washrooms. :) U may even enter the mall before the stores open, let's say around 8am or so. A lot of people doing their exercise walks inside the mall perhaps while waiting for the coffee shops to open.

Yelp
Bay view village is a beautifully renovated upscale shopping mall. It is not easy to get into but has good underground parking once you are there. The store selection is suited for those with a finer taste of life but there are options for everyone. I give this mall 4 stars for the beautiful atmosphere, but 2 stars for my shopping needs. There is a great Chapters and speciality food stores worth checking out.

Yelp
My Torontonian grandparents frequent this mall for its spacious walking room and inviting atmosphere. This mall has always seemed exceptionally classy and well-established, and through its recent renovations, it has blossomed into something even more polished. It is beautifully finished. Very upscale. Seeing this mall during the Christmas season is always a joy. There's something intimate and nostalgic about this place, and for that reason, I love it. It boasts a wide variety of merchants for every type of person including The Bombay Company, Sporting Life, Banana Republic, and Shoppers Drug Mart. While visiting, you should grab a specialty tea at David's Tea, cozy up and read a good book at Chapters, indulge in some delightfully creamy ice cream at Laura Secord, maybe pick up a prescription at Shoppers Drug Mart, and check some things off your grocery list at Loblaws. This mall has it all. My grandparents often grab a bite to eat at Aux Délices Café de Bayview, conveniently located in front of one of the most central exits. Just a hop and skip away from the elevator. This sweet little café specializes in pastries (award-winning!), sandwiches and soups. I've had lunch there twice and have been impressed both times. Once you order and pay for your food, which tends to be a pretty immediate process (nice!), you can enjoy it either in the café itself, or, if you prefer, feel free to enjoy it out in the table area, located just outside the café. Overall, a lovely mall with great variety.

Yelp
This mall didn't have anything going for it other than being dog friendly. Now that they are banning dogs, there isn't any reason to come here anymore. Good job losing business. Can't remember how many times I'd pop in during a walk to pick up a few things. And my dogs never made a mess. Classic example of a few people not taking responsibility and ruining it for everyone. And also shows the management at this mall got some loose spines once they got some complaints.

Yelp
I still remember when this mall was lined with rectangular brown tiles, and dark brown fake wood benches. When the Loblaws was the focal point and there was a K-Mart where the Gap now sits. There was a Cineplex, where you went downstairs, the library was within the mall and super small. Now this place has transformed into a fancy space, without being too pretentious. Lots of local boutiques, designer stores, but also a handful of more affordable stores. This place is either great for window shopping (too $$ can't buy) or dangerous (will buy anyway $$) This was my first visit in years, and I loved the new additions like Aroma, Lindt, Mastermind, a fancy new Shoppers. The Pusiteri's fits in perfectly here. This might be old new to most people. Also the first time here as a mom. I found a nice parking space for moms, which was nice, but only realized I was allowed there, after squinting at the small text to figure out what it said (V.I.M very important mummy) with a photo of a pregnant lady, maybe about 4 months. I assumed I could park here with my 10 month old. Needed to do a diaper change, but wish I used the downstairs bathroom where the parking was, instead of squeezing myself up the narrow corridor in the upstairs bathroom (which hasn't changed since the old days). After all the ladies smiled at my daughter as I wheeled her through, the handicapped / family washroom was occupied. I went into the main washroom area (so many staff!), and I saw a nursing lounge (open to the bathroom), but no change table (but there was a spacious hard counter top). The only one was in the occupied bathroom. So I waited in the small hallway as others squeezed by me. Problem was, the very loud dyson hand dryers were going off all over the place and my daughter was bawling her eyes out. Finally the woman (note: not a family, nor seemingly handicapped), came out and I used the change table. It was very low, a little uncomfortable. And right above the entrance to the toilet bowl. Anything that rolled off, would go in there. Not to mention also the hand dryer seemed to be attached to the adjacent wall and super loud. I don't know how anyone could nurse in the open lounge area. I couldn't get out of there quick enough. The only other bathroom is on the other side of the mall (or in restaurants and Chapters), so it would be quite busy. Maybe the other bathrooms are less busy and more kid friendly. The mall itself is pretty accessible and spacious. Rant over. Just wish they put a little more consideration into these things, especially with a new reno.

Yelp
The Bayview Village Shopping Centre is found just off the Bayview subway station next to this apartment building that looks like a sailing ship (someone told me it was called "The Ark" and when you see it, you'll understand why). Anyway, the first store you see is Loblaws. For those visiting Canada, Loblaws is Canada's grocery chain. The ground floor has a dry cleaner, a cigarette store, a chocolate store, and a florist. You take the escalator upstairs and you'll find just about any type of food and personal care items that you need. You then exit Loblaws and are now in the mall. It's not a HUGE mall and you can walk it in about 30 minutes if you're fast or 2 hours if you're with the gray haired "mall walker" crew. Lots of little old ladies dressed to the nines, not many children running around, and a surprising lack of teenagers bumming about. It didn't take long to figure out why though. The stores are very high end, not much for teenagers to spend money on, and way too pricey for families with young children. The only place where I saw a lot of people was the food court area located towards the middle of the mall. There were a couple of really fancy restaurants that were absolutely packed with men in suits and women in heels. Seems indicative of a lack of surrounding restaurants to take your clients to. "Hey, let's meet at the mall." Meh. Bayview has a wine store, home goods, clothing, furniture, but I think the wine store was the most impressive. The selection was enormous and there were so many people working that were helpful but not pushy. Bayview is a great place to kill an hour or two or to knock out some shopping. The Loblaws is not to be missed as it is one of their flagship stores. Again, it's just a short walk from the Bayview subway station; easy to find and fun to visit.

Yelp
The inside is like a palace. Crystal chandeliers, leather couches, fancy trimmed bushes, etc. But, the shops aren't anything to get excited about. There's a Chapters, which I really enjoy going to. But after I'm done there, I usually end up walking with my relatives while they window shop. Most of the shops here have really expensive stuff, and I doubt the average person could spend money like that on a daily basis. There was a FUR shop here! With a $400 scarf! Again, I doubt I the average person could afford something like that on an average basis. It's worth checking out. Go, you might find something you like.

Yelp
Not a mall for the underprivileged but still has many window-shoppers/mall-walkers. Motorcyclists like to gather in the east parking lot on weekday evenings. Enjoy BV for Loblaws, Chapters & clean (but small) toilets.
