We had dinner at Bayviews Restaurant a couple of days ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was prompt and friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised with some complimentary appetizers — a lovely bonus!
The blue eye trevalla sashimi was beautifully seasoned with an Asian twist, including hints of lemongrass. It was my first time trying this fish as sashimi, and it worked wonderfully.
The pumpkin gnocchi was delicious, pairing nicely with pumpkin seeds and feta for great texture and balance.
But the highlight of the meal was definitely the duck maryland. The accompanying spring roll-style wrap filled with duck was a clever and tasty innovation, and the duck maryland itself was perfectly tender and juicy.
Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience in Burnie!
