Bazar's Bakery & Breakfast

We stopped for lunch and had placed our order by 11:35. We ordered an appetizer that we never received and our food finally arrived over an hour later. A family of four came in about 30 minutes after us and were served and finished eating before us. We ordered sandwiches not a homemade meal. We asked for napkins that we never received. I ordered the club and it was a thin slice of ham, cheese, and a thin slice of turkey. I asked for the chaffle and it was hard as a rock. My side of onion rings was four onion rings. My husband ordered the Steak burger and we’ve seen smash burgers with more meat. Definitely don’t recommend eating here.

Very nice atmosphere. People were very nice. Food was very good as well. Friday and Saturday $20. Steaks, loaded baked potatoes and salad. Awesome deal for an awesome meal!

This is one of my favorite places to go in Hernando. It has a really cute vibe when you walk inside; it's very inviting. I love their breakfast/brunch menu! YUMMY!! I have been there for lunch several times with family and friends and enjoyed it. I've even had their dinner once or twice as well. I've also ordered cakes, cookies, and their sausage balls with pepper jelly numerous times for events. I would recommend you give them a try!

Reading a lot of the reviews for this place, I have noticed that many complaints are about wait time and I had no issues here. We were sat immediately and food wasn't a long wait either. I also noticed that people like complain about the hours on Google not being upheld but having managed a business before, I know for a fact ANYONE can change your hours for you or give Google the wrong information. Google calls a business now and again to check but they can always be changed. This is not always the business's fault. Service was perfect and so was the food. Decent prices and lovely atmosphere. I will be back for more. Thank you.

I had high hopes when we headed here to try this place. It's tucked back in a small corner of a more contemporary shopping area in Hernando and it is super cute and trendy from the outside. The google reviews were excellent so I was fairly confident that it would be a pleasant experience, however, that was not the case. Our waitress, as pleasant and chatty as she was, barely checked on us after taking our order initially, which took much longer than it should have. The waitress even told us that she was going to be taking orders for another table or 2 that had arrived AFTER we did but she would be back to take our order soon. Little to no updates were provided about the status of our order except when we flagged down our waitress, who's only response was that the kitchen was SO SLAMMED with the lunch rush which was difficult to understand because the "lunch rush" was in the process of making a mass exodus when we arrived so more than half of the restaurant was empty. It took over an hour to get breakfast food and when it finally arrived, all of the food on every single one of the four plates, was cold. Is there anything worse than a cold omelet?? I politely informed the waitress about the food, without asking for anything in exchange, she volunteered to talk to her manager. After waiting another 10 minutes for her to return from speaking with her manager, she had yet to return, I flagged her down and just asked for the check since the food was inedible, we were still hungry and tired of waiting. The waitress had not "had a chance" to talk to her manager so we went ahead and paid the check, in full, and left 4 nearly a full plates of food on the table. After re-reading the positive reviews online, I can only assume that this was a one-off terrible day at Bazar but it is highly unlikely that I would return to give it another chance :(

Absolutely the cutest little hole in the wall I’ve ever seen! Recently moved to the Hernando area, and had breakfast for dinner the food was just that good. The dinner is super cute and our cup was never empty and always checked on with a smile!! Great place for all ages, all meals and a heck of a good time!!

A fun place to go for breakfast! Our servers were really sweet, and they were working hard because there were only 2 of them and the restaurant was very busy. Still, our food came out pretty quickly. My Cresent sausage casserole was ok....not bad at all, but I probably wouldn't order it again. They also have bakery goods for sale. I would go back and try it again.

This is a GREAT place! Very comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, and very delicious food! Highly recommended!!!

Had lunch today at the NEW Bazaar Diner. No longer a bakery but a well done cafe with patio seating. I had the Bazaar Breakfast Platter and my wife had the patty melt - great! My breakfast platter which was excellent (3 sausage patties, 3 pancakes, 2 eggs cooked to order). Service was excellent, The ambiance was great too. Just wish they would make their bar into a soda fountain area for teens to come and have a good safe place to " hang out".

Good food, friendly service, fun place. Couple things I didn't care. The ham was too salty for me and the gravy was a bit watery, but I'd definitely go back to try other options.

I highly recommend the Breakfast Eggrolls with sausage gravy. The service is usually on the slower side, so be prepared to wait a bit. The restaurant is colorful and fun.

I just got back from eating at this diner. So, the appearance was great, loved the 50's theme. And VERY! nice workers. But the food was DISGUSTING!!!!!! tenders were dry and they weren't homemade they were TYSON chicken tenders. Fries were OKAY. And the ranch was DELICIOUS!!! So do not recommend coming here for chicken tenders. 1/10 And it was also 45$ dollars for three people very expensive!!!

The first picture is the lack of food that I received after waiting for 45 mins. It took them 20 mins to even acknowledge me. I counted not one but four tables that received their food before me. The second picture is the audacity. The tortilla was cold -about as cold as one of the waitress and her nasty attitude. I was excited to try this place out. I have already shared with multiple people not to even waste their time. The painting on the walls are cute though.

I love the new diner atmosphere. Servers are great. My favorite choices are the classic, Benedict and the omelette. Everything has been very good.

This was our first time and it was pleasant. First, we were seated right away. Of course, that's always nice. Second, we were waited on promptly and our waitress was nice. She was there when we needed her and not when we didn't...it's like Spidey sense. Third, the food was fair priced and quickly served. My biscuit and gravy with all the sides was very good. It all had good flavor. However, it would have been nice to have a bit more gravy. My wife's breakfast tostada was just ok...according to her. Who orders that anyway?? The cookies, especially the Cowboy cookie, are delicious. Load up. On this day the cupcakes were a bit stale but I bet that isn't always the case. Oh yea, the gentleman behind the counter was informative and nice. Go check the place out. We'll be back...and my wife will not have the tostada.

I was excited to bring to my girls here and try this place out, but sadly I won't be back. My girls had the chicken tenders. They are definitely not homemade, just regular oh tenders you buy from the grocery store. Definitely not worth the price. (3 tenders and a side for 11.99 drink separate ) I had the club and it was nothing special bread was way too thick and maybe 2 pieces of ham and turkey. I honestly don't think some people know what good food is. Our total for 3 people to eat was $45 thats Not including our tip.

The food was amazing. The service was sweet, fun, and really great with my 2 year old. The ambiance was fun with all the hand painted murals everywhere.

Tried again. Food is not worth the wait. Service was OK, but mostly ignored us. At forty minutes in, I had to flag her down to ask about the status of our order. The manager gave 10% off after I complained. They just don't get it. There's different ways to handle things.

Ate there for the first time today and we will definitely be back. We live in the next county but this was truly worth the drive. My husband had the stuffed French toast and I had the eggs Benedict. Both were extremely delicious! Place has a fun unique decor and the staff were all super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. We love eating at local places!

PREJUDICE ESTABLISHMENT!! I'll go ahead and say what many others like me in the reviews are expressing without calling it exactly what it is... while I have visited this place on several occasions, I've always noticed the unwelcoming aura, but I love brunch and I'll be honest and say their omelettes are usually pretty good. This last visit, however, totally blew me. My mom and I stopped in for brunch on a Sunday. We waited patiently to be placed on the waiting list while the older lady (she may be the owner or manager) simply looked past us to accommodate all of the "light skinned locals". They held lengthy conversations as if we were not waiting to be seated, and I had to ask to be placed on the list. Now... I just stood there listening and watching her assist all the others asking how many and a last name, but when it was my turn she only asked how many- and wrote nothing down. I finally asked how we'd be notified and the older lady gave me a pager- oh that never went off after an hour and 1/2!! Even though she specified a 20 minute wait. I should not have returned after my first visit a few months ago because it was the same type of experience. We waited 15 minutes to be seated although the place was nearly empty. We literally sat and watched while other guests who arrived well after us were served before us... and there's this one middle aged waitress (35-40) that couldn't hide her displeasure if she tried. I never want her to service me again as she is rude and not attentive at all!!. The only reason for the 2 stars and not an all out 1 is that the food is decent- and there's ONLY 1 waitress that has been kind to me from day one. Sadly I do not know her name, but she's a young blonde thin little thing, but her personality is vibrate and welcoming in such a harsh establishment.

Went out of the norm today. Very cool bakery and eatery. Place filled up fast with customers which is always a good sign. It isn't fancy but it's good solid food. Definitely like to support small businesses during these time especially so give them a try!!

Everything was delicious! I got the Bazar Platter with 2 eggs, sausage, and two sweet "chaffles" which is a cheese waffle with a little stevia sweetener added to it. I loved it.. It's a must try! They have lots of keto/low carb options. Wish there were more restaurants like that. The decor is super creative & cute too!

It's always nice to find a nice breakfast/brunch place to be able to hang out on a Sunday morning. I really enjoyed my experience here and the food is good. I ordered the avocado toast and they did not disappoint! My mom ordered the biscuits with gravy and they were also really good. I love the vibe of the place and although I did not get a chance to try the desserts I will definitely be back.

The food is okay and the environment is pretty cute. The service is kinda slow and the servers seem a little air-headed. It isn't a big enough place to wait 15 minutes for a table and then have to wait another 10 before you even get your drink order taken

Friends brought me here. I had the Club Sandwich, which I enjoyed. It was big, but at the price, it was adequate. The fries were good, the seasoning was tasty. Everyone else had the chicken and waffles. They were not impressed. The chicken tenders taste like Sonics. They taste like they came from a bag. I would get a sandwich or burger, and while the waffle looked good. They said it was cold.

We usually love everything we get from here, except today, we will never use them for birthday cupcakes ever again. They are nothing like what we ordered, in fact, instead of JoJo Siwa bright, glittery cupcakes we picked up cupcakes that look like they are for a gender reveal. The party is in an hour so it's too late to do anything else but for almost $80 for 3 dozen cupcakes, Walmart would have looked better.

Went there for breakfast. The pancakes were ok but everything else was great and the southern hospitality was fantastic. My wife had biscuits and gravy and said it was awesome. We had a short wait but it was worth it. The staff was super nice. Everyone should give them a try if they are in the area.

Nice people but food is just ok ate best everything taste like it has been heated up. I ordered basic breakfast, over cooked scrambled eggs one piece of bacon and a warmed up biscuit. We had a group there so was about 10 of us. The waitress looked like she did not want to be there and told us about how small the kitchen was and we would just get food as it was ready...no big deal but it's like she was warning us this is going to be bad. The service was slow but was ok because we were not in a rush but she seemed bothered to get anything hugged and puffed the whole time...but in her defense no one helped out when the place was dead and all the servers were just hanging out up front when we left. Will probably not be back again it's a bad sign when you pull up to a breakfast place on a Sunday and it's dead.

Well, I visited for brunch with my cousin for the first time. Cashier (Amory) needs more training and customer service skills as (I don't know) should have been her name. After a more than necessary wait we were seated and our less than friendly waitress, proceeded to take the orders of the party that arrived after us, before taking our orders. We were on a bit of a time schedule so that was frustrating. I ordered the sausage cream cheese casserole that came to me with NO cream cheese visible between the crescent roll crust. I reordered the classic breakfast which was fine except the bacon burned on the ends. The waitress had to be waived down for everything we wanted. She didn't offer us any mimosas, which we on our own discovered they served. They were out of several flavors that were listed on their board. She never came to see if we wanted a second. Upon leaving we decided to get some bakery items for our girls for after their recital. The cashier was not knowledgeable about the topping on the cheese cakes and the price given was $6 each for them when the board plainly stated $5 each. She originally said that was for another cheese cake variety. After further questioning her response was that was an old board....which gripes me to no end when prices change and they can't update a board written in chalk??? that's false advertising...which like most things doesn't matter these days. Then upon leaving the cashier hailed that we were trying to leave without paying for one of our meals. (U got it the sausage cream cheese casserole)...that the waitress took off our check... after we had to tell her it was still on our bill. Undoubtedly when she printed the new check that part remained in the computer. It sort of embarrassed my cousin some. Once the cashier (Amory) got confirmation from the waitress that we were good, we were on our way. So that was our first and last experience and it was Bazar!!! Basically decent food. Unfriendly folks and extremely poor customer skills was our experience.

I love this place, both the restaurant and the bakery. Servers are always friendly, even when they're busy. The food is delicious and I love having the keto options. Basically one of the few places I will go eat at when I'm doing keto.

This place was an excellent stop in our travels! Great food and even better atmosphere! Will be back!!

Great breakfast spot on our way to an estate sale in Hernando this morning. Avocado toast on Chaffle bread was delish! Regular classic breakfast just right too. Quick & efficient service. Will make Bazars our breakfast destination in the future.

Party of 8 stopped while traveling. We had one of just about every breakfast item and everything was delicious! The service was top notch and prices were very reasonable.
