Perfect location and perfect host. The host is highly knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us around the hostel and informed us what was there and what could be used. This was the first time anyone bothered to explain the details in my hostel stay experience (since 3 years). The twin room (where I stayed with my friend) was comfy and relaxing (amazing views). Showers and Toilets were clean and well kept.

This is definitely one of the better hostels I’ve stayed at! Rooms and facilities were all very clean and well organized, staff was generally helpful, and beds were comfortable. The location is pretty much impossible to beat: it’s right next to the castle and about two minute’s walk from the center of town, but is quiet (there is a pub that’s open relatively late next door, but I never noticed the noise in the rooms). I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm, where the beds are “pods” that were pretty sturdily built. They have one open wall with a heavy curtain that does a good job blocking light. They each have a small shelf and charging port, an electronic safe (free), and a larger cubby for big bags. I am just over 1.9 meters and was pretty much *exactly* the length of the beds, so they aren’t extra roomy or anything, but I was plenty comfy for a few nights. There is a nice kitchen (and refrigerator for you to use) and sitting area, plus a very nice back garden, too. My biggest complaint is truly trivial: there’s nowhere to set your things in the showers (there two hooks to hang things between the door and the curtain, but the shower floor drains through to that area, so don’t set anything on the ground!).

Thank you Ingrid for the warm welcome last night! The hostel is next to Inverness Castle, so very close to the city center. Cosy rooms with lockers and comfortable bunk beds—double pillow, duvet and towel provided. There is the classic small shelf with usb ports in you bed and a curtain for privacy. Clean bathroom! I did not use them but there are washing machines and driers. Lovely communal areas (with musical instruments available) and a small kitchen with all you need. The back garden is super cute with a nice view of Inverness from above.

Such a warm welcome and ideal location, literally at the finishing line of the Great Glen way. Add room was spotlessly clean as was the shared bathroom and toilet. Really smart kitchen with everything you need to self cater but loads of eateries just on the doorstep. We tried the Spanish restaurant 20 m down the road.

Stayed here in 2023 while I found it was great place to stay the cost of a dorm bed has rose to an unacceptable level. Hostels are supposed to be affordable, would not stay here again until they revise their pricing.

Excellent hostel, excellent ubication and everythinh was perfect. The privacy in the rooms were so good. I would add a carpet on the bathroom floor because sometimes is really wet when people get off from the shower. The rest wss exceptional.

This hostel is amazing!!! The bunks are like pods with blackout curtains, and the bed was so comfortable, so I had a great night sleeps. You get 2 pillows, a towel, and shortbread on arrival. The kitchen was always spotless, same with the bathrooms. The other guests were great, so easy to meet people. Plus the staff were very nice and approachable. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any more cozy, they put the fire on. Probably the best hostel I’ve ever experienced!!!

Close to the city centre, amazing terrace, wonderful staff, comfy beds. Better than most hotels in Inverness I guess. :)
