BBANG!

The shrimp burger was perfectly juicy with that classic Korean texture. The bulgogi burger and the kimchi smash burger were really good too, and the buns were insanely soft. They even have soju and Korean beers, which made me way too happy. Honestly, who even needs to fly to Korea for Lotteria anymore? 😂

phenomenal vegan options, get the fried tofu! really well-thought out dishes, the fried tofu comes with a little side of daikon which is the perfect little refresher bite. it’s such a cute spot, really cozy to sit at one of the tables or grab food to take over to Holy Ghost for a drink! service was great too, they helped us with the vegan options and gave great recommendations for their favorite sauces! i fear i will be coming back many times.

This place is not only tasty, very simple concept and it’s a cute little spot. Definitely will be a new regular !

Bulgogi burger, bulgogi burger, bulgogi burger. Hands down the best thing on the menu. We came here the second day these guys opened and the staff was extremely nice. We tried the shrimp burger, would say it was pleasant but didn't really stand out as a shrimp patty over a different fish patty. We also got the kimchi smashburger. The kimchi was good, however I think it would be better as a slider. The flavor is direct, and I think the patty gives a little too much of the toppings. With it being a new place I think they'll find their rhythm and tune it in, but overall it was worth it and I think if you're reading this you should make it down to give it a shot. I do think it was a tad expensive as we got three burgers and a side of corn for a little over 50 bucks, but here I am being a beggar. The REALLY nice thing is that it's connected to the Holy Ghost so if there isn't seating in their storefront you can grab a spot in the bar or at the bench seats outside that have heaters above them. Again, bulgogi burger, bulgogi burger, bulgogi burger, that thing was super good and you should give these guys your money.

The newly opened Bbang restaurant did not disappoint! The food was amazing and full of delicious and unique flavors that you won’t find anywhere else and the interior space was cozy, welcoming and so well designed. The tofu katsu sandwich was delicious as was the Korean street toast and their Bulgogi Burger and Kimchi Smashburger were simply perfection. The sides and various sauces offered were amazing as well. You can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. Make it a point to stop by and give this place a try. It will become your new favorite hang out.

Been WAITING for the day that DOYAJI opened up a brick&mortar spot! And bringing all of their amazing sandwich specials to a daily menu was 100% the move!! Also where else can you get a freakin’ SHRIMP burger?! YUM! The flavors and the vibes are always incredible no matter what they come up with. This new spot is super cute and I’m so excited for them!! DO NOT WALK. RUN TO BBANG!

Well, this is officially my new favorite place to eat in Portland! The extremely talented creators of Doyaji have done it again! Incredible food, incredible atmosphere, and an incredible staff...what more could you want! The food is seriously amazing. I've eaten almost every dish at this point and every single one of them delivers at the highest level. I will definitely be recommending everyone I know to Bbang! Very excited to have this new addition to Portland!

I stopped in to BBANG’s opening weekend and god damn! I had the Tofu Katau Sandwich and Cucumber Salad, both of which were delicious! Three bites into the cucumbers and my thoughts turned to “Well, I know what I’ll be doing with all the cucumbers from my garden this summer…” Then there’s the tofu. Being vegan, I eat my fair share of tofu. I’ve literally had dreams about the tofu from their sister spot Doyaji, so I had high expectations for the Katau sandwich and was not disappointed. I sat at the packed bar at Holy Ghost with Katsu sauce all over my face while inhaling it and couldn’t have cared less. Delicious food and fantastic people. I’ll be back often!
