Disgusting and horrible experience. There was a bug in my food and had I not looked before biting, would have ingested it. I would not come back here. I've eaten here many times and every single time the quality is sub-par. The bug just put it over the line. Slow service, sub-par food, and food that doesn't even meet health standards. I would advise everyone to stay away.

I came to BBQ Night for the second time, hoping the first visit was just an off night. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. The food is mediocre at best—especially the channa, which falls short compared to what you’d expect from a place that’s supposedly known for BBQ and South Asian flavors. What really sealed it for me was the service. The person at the counter seemed irritated and unwelcoming, as if serving customers was a burden. That kind of energy sets a bad tone for the whole experience. I gave it a second chance, but I won’t be coming back. There are too many better options out there.

Good food. Kebab and marsala fries are my favorite. Zinger sandwich and butter chicken are also pretty good.

I’ve been coming here regularly, and the food is always top-notch. The quality is consistently excellent, with fresh ingredients and great flavor in every dish. The portions are generous—definitely good value for the price. It’s rare to find a place that balances quality, quantity, and affordability so well. Highly recommended!

This trip to BBQ nite is super tasty. Simply loved the Nihari, Chicken Achari, Seekh Kebabs and Biryani. Kheer was also good. Naans were also good this time. Ambiance not so great, but not bad. Self service plus staff provides service as well. So over all a good combo. See the clean plates, it tells how good food was.

Love ordering from here because of the food. Their chicken biriyani, goat pulao, goat biriyani, zinger burger, chicken Philly and masala fries are all great. The goat pulao and goat biriyani are only on select weekends so we always call to check. One thing that has changed is their service. When I call to place my order, they hang up right after I say my items and they tell me how long it's going to take. No warmth. Super rude staff despite us being regular customers. No smiles, no welcoming their customers, they'll just be hanging out in the back and ignoring people in line no matter how busy it is. And it's not even occasional, it's their constant vibe lol. I just had to say something about it because the Management needs to do something to fix this. It's so bad I dread going in to pick up my order. The only reason I still keep going back is the amazing food.

So iPhone spellcheck messed up my last review and I didn't see it. Thank you to the person who noticed there was something wrong. Let me update it correctly now.. I waited for over a half hour to get my food. Then, as the person was getting it, he began to wrap it, dropped some of the food on the floor. He proceeded to pick the food up off of the floor and put it in the bag for me to eat later on. Seeing this, I took my order and threw it out when I left the building. Suffice to say, I won't be back.

I've been here many times and mainly had a good experience with the food. I took one star off for some past experiences, but this time was a 5 star. This time the food was hot, fresh, and very delicious. The food always takes a little bit of time but it was worth it to me. They've revamped the decor and the place is nice and clean. I especially like the new, clean bathroom because the old one sometimes wasn't so nice. We got the cheeseburger, zinger burger, and masala fries. This time the cheeseburger and zinger burger were the best I've had. Particularly, the zinger burger was crispy and cooked to perfection. The masala fries were good as always. The lassi was given to us complimentary, which was super nice of them! It was a little sweet for me but if you like sweet and tangy it's for you. I prefer the mango to the regular in general. The staff was nice and wore masks. My previous issues were that the staff yelled at each other in front of customers, however, this time there was nothing of the sort. A couple of times the zingers didn't seem fresh. But overall I've ordered from here many times and I always come back for the zingers (a must always), spicy hot wings, cheeseburgers, and kabob rolls.

I've been to both this location and the Elmont location but this one is better by far! Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious either way. Large portions and cheap prices and so much flavor. Whenever we come, we usually get an order of their Masala Fries, their Mixed Roll, and their Zinger burger (I think that's what others meant if they wrote "ginger" burger in their reviews). You can't go wrong with either of those. We came in on a Saturday early evening and had a pleasant experience as well! The staff were very friendly and didn't rush us. When we said we were dining in, they were clear on which table they would serve us at, and the staff that brought our order out was warm as well. I'm noting this mainly because you can usually tell if employees hate being there or just aren't warm towards customers and that was not the case this time around. The food also came out pretty quickly and when you're ordering at the front, you have a clear view into where they prepare the food - which is pretty neat. The space is also very well kept, neat, and clean and they sanitize each table after someone leaves which is reassuring to see especially during Covid. Can't wait to come back the next time I'm in the neighborhood!

Food is absolutely delicious, I really recommend the mix grill with cheese naan. It's basically a wrap and the flavors of their mix grill is very flavorful, as it is seasoned through the roof without being overwhelming. They can take a while with orders so call ahead in advance.

Do NOT eat here. They have the worst service ever and their manager has absolutely no manners and no way of speaking to customers. He cursed at my family when we asked where is our food that we ordered 1 hour 30 minutes ago. Meanwhile we see them giving other people their order. WORST SERVICE EVER

They are extremely rude and disrespectful. Forget about the fact that the taste of the food went down the hill a while ago, but out of desperation whenever I order from here, they do not listen to the actual order and when you call them out on the phone, they don't even listen. I am surprised that they are still in business! I would rather eat grass then ever call this place for anything. There are a few other Pakistani restaurants in the area which are better priced and offer good quality food, go there and stop spending your money on this establishment.

Ordered Uber Eats from the Hicksville location because people recommended it over the East Meadow store. Ordered the chicken makhni-it was creamy and the chicken had a good texture. There was a lot of fat on the chicken pieces and the sauce was spicier than usual. Ordered the butter naan for the chicken makhni sauce. It was somewhat dry. Also got the zinger burger. This was the star of the show-2 lightly fried chicken cutlets with tasty sauce, crunchy onions, and a soft bun. The meal was a very good value.

Have come here many times but this time was the worst. Terrible customer service. The girl behind the counter is rude. Order plain fries they brought out masala fries. (Kiddo can't eat that). Ask them to fix it. She didn't want too. The replacement fries we got were a quarter of the plate of the masala fries. Ordered naan. Got cold stale naan. Ask them to fix it. She yells a across the restaurant tell them "it's fresh". Ordered biryani they served us some biryani rice with goat curry on top of it. Why? I don't know. But biryani is not supposed to be like that. Ordered a zinger burger and Philly cheese steak. They were the last things to come out. After we were done eating. Poor service. Poor attitude. And the place is dirty. Is doesn't look like the wash the condiment container. They filthy and sticky.

Fantastic food served here with amazing value. My mom and I often go here when the mood strikes for a good Roll. The meat is seasoned and cooked so well here. The Mixed grill is our favorite. My mom loves the fish and chips as it's got a nice kick to it. Their lollipop chicken is to die for. There is no ambiance to speak of but definitely order ahead as the wait can be long to get your food. Seems this place is also always very busy. It is across from Patel Brothers and Diwan in the little strip of stores with the Singas famous pizza.

One of the best ginger burgers in Hicksville. It's a very busy place so order ahead. Price is decent staff is very friendly and attractive. Been there twice already.

This place is amazing!!! It was recommended to me by a friend who visited here a few years ago. They are currently doing some renovations, but they are still open for business! This place is mostly take out with few tables and chairs. We ordered the Zinger Burger which was seemed highly popular by many people on Yelp. We also ordered the Marsala fries and the chicken biryami. The Chicken Biryani was ice cold which was kind of strange. But it was okay because we were heading home anyway. The fries were SO GOOD. They were very well seasoned and not really spicy. They cut their fries thin, so they're more crunchy than soft. The Zinger Burger was creative with red onions, cheese, lettuce, and some kind of special sauce. There were very generous amounts of fried chicken in the burger, about like 3 pieces! Two people could share a burger and still eat very well. The burger actually reminded me of a Popeyes chicken burger with a twist. The chicken biryani was actually my favorite. After heating it up in the microwave it was VERY fragrant and flavorful! There were chicken pieces in there which were very tender and pieces of star anise mixed in the rice. For the price and quality and portions are so worth it. Will defiantly visit again!

Definitely prefer halal meats. We love the fried chicken. It's even good cold! Planning on relying on this fast food chicken when my son is a teenage. Even from the frig, it doesn't have a greasy or fatty taste. We always order the largest bucket like portion. The batter is mildly flavored. There's a kick to it. I think there's paprika in the batter. Their fried chicken is better than HMart's. The pieces are a bit smaller than the steroid looking KFC pieces, which we prefer. Real chicken. This is our go to place for guilty fried pleasures.

I've been to both BBQ Nite locations. Even though this place is famous for their BBQ chicken and Zinger burgers, I come here for the biryani. The tandoori chicken is of course off the hook but BBQ Nite has been consistently satisfying that home cooked masala wali spicy biryani you crave but are too lazy to make! Hicksville location is more convenient because has a small parking lot. Plus you can hit up some other errands like halal meat shopping from across the street at Aladin halal meat (organic meat). Definitely recommend BBQ Nite. The service is great, friendly staff and food is warm and delicious. Packed on weekends so might have to wait for a table.

So I normally order take-out from here, but finally had a chance to eat-in at the restaurant this past weekend. Food is great as usual. Everything here is very flavorful, from the Zinger Burger to the Chicken Makhni. However, they started putting cheese in the Zinger burger and I don't like the way it tastes. Gotta remember to tell them to hold off on the cheese. One thing I don't like about their restaurant is that it's never clean. I had to clean the table before sitting (it's the same at their other locations too).There's also trash on the floor at times. They definitely need to hire a full time person to clean up.

We heard about the ginger burger from bbq nite. So went to Hicksville from Brooklyn. We ordered two spicy ginger burger, masala fries and Philly cheese steak. The ginger burger were really good. Flavorful and juicy. The Philly cheese was basic. They have other prepared food on the display seemed good but didn't try.

So I went to order here as I was passing by, I asked a menu and one guy said we don't have one and its online, thats fine. Then I asked them can get something to take out and these three guys completely ignored me as if I don;t exist there, after asking 3 time one guy nodded his head 9assuming he said yes). Then he took 3 calls without even serving me first, but it was good that he ignored me, as I was standing and watching these buffoons I noticed how "DIRTY and DISGUSTING" this place is !!!!! oh my god, creepy feelings came into my head, the cooking place was "coated with some black layer residue that was NEVER cleaned and probably sitting there since day 1 of this restaurant". I am glad I walked out without buying and would never go there. Seems very "UNHYGIENIC" place.

Best for dining in, worst for delivery. Ordered something else got something else. Plus no sides no proper food. Disappointed!

Food is okay, not the best quality however my 2 stars are based on the staff. One man in particular, the one who's in the front- extremely rude, I never write a bad review but here it's needed. If you pause for a bit while placing your order he will nag you to place your order faster. I'm sure everyone knows what I mean.

I have always had good things to say about this restaurant. This place is known for it's authentic tasty Pakistani food, and that is what is serves the best, no non-sense. I have tried their tandoori chicken, chicken kebabs, biryanis, all of which tastes good and reminds me of Pakistan. Just please make sure you order ahead because the take-out here is very busy and you may have to wait for a while.

Had food poisoning after having their tandoori chicken. Wasn't cooked properly and definitely didn't taste as good as it used to be. Never again.

I've reviewed before giving it 4 stars because of their food and complained about their service. Now I'm giving it 1 star because the man on the phone is extremely rude. He puts me on hold for 5 minutes and then tells me to place my order. I say my order a little slow so they don't mess it up, and he gives me attitude and tells me to hurry up, telling me to order fast. Excuse you, we're not in the homeland anymore. We're in America where customer service is a top priority, especially at a restaurant. Being Indian, I've noticed that Desi people rarely have a sense of customer service but being rude on top of that is just uncalled for. He didn't even take my name or number for the order so? Good food terrible horrific customer service. P.S. when we went to pick up the order, the food wasn't ready because he forgot :) Instead of apologizing he told my mother to go wait in her car, and that he would call her when it was ready ( ***** red flag because he never took our number :):):))

While visiting a friend in Hicksville, decided to try their zinger burger, went there later in the evening, place was busy for take out orders . Cooked food on display wasn't look good, not impressed. Staff was seemingly didn't care about customers, stood their for a while no one asked to take order , had to work for getting attention , he took order half heartedly. After a long weight he brought the order . We came back in our car to eat it . Very poorly packed food , ruined the entire burger , after looking into it was enough to kill apatite however we start eating , it was nothing close to what we heard about a zinger burger. Couldn't finish it all . Over all bad experience, will give them another chance at their other location in Elmont .

Customer service sucks. They seem to just not care. The food on the other hand is great but I wouldn't be coming back to this location. BBQ Nite in East Meadow is MUCH MUCH better.

Terrible service waited over an hour for my food to show up and ended up getting attitude from staff for speaking up. Never coming back. What a joke.

I went back but think it will be the last time . The food was just ok and I asked for a salad and received just lettuce and red onions . No tomato or cucumbers . I asked for the food to be heated so I could eat it on the ride home and the top was hot in some areas but the other areas were coldish.Also the man at the counter gave me a funny vibe when I asked if the meal even came with salad. They just don't really seem to care about customer service and the place doesn't seem particularly the cleanest . I'll continue searching for a food Indian restaurant for my chicken masala cravings. I was in the mood for Indian food so when I saw the restaurant while riding through the area this past weekend I went in to get a bite . It smelled pretty good inside and has a glass area in the front much like a deli where you can get a look at the food . I ordered hot wings and fries and an order of chicken strips and fries for my daughter's less adventurous palate . I decided on the chicken masala which wasn't labeled as such but after asking the man at the counter if they served that was shown it . I waited over 30 minutes for the food to be made up . The chicken was fried fresh and I did add an additional order of wings last minute but the chicken and rice I had requested only needed to be warmed . The man at the counter was polite and answered my questions . I didn't feel uncomfortable while waiting and as it seemed many regulars would come in to order . I removed stars because once I got home and looked at my container he'd only added 3-4 small pieces of chicken masala atop a large plate of rice . I was extremely disappointed and felt robbed . The food was tasty but I don't understand why he chose to short me out on a portion . Wish I'd thought to snap a quick pic. I also got the mango lassi and it was good and my daughter liked her tenders and fiancé liked his wings . My son however didn't find them flavorable enough or that they were very hot but he likes pretty spicy food in general .Overall I will likely try them again but plan on letting him know regarding the situation with the portion .

Only order if you like horrible customer service, overpriced food, tiny portions, and food that taste like a 6 year old made it from play dough. Called to ask about why we didn't get as much food as we ordered, was told by the person I was speaking to "don't order from here again then". Very unprofessional. I ordered off grubhub for my family of 5, when the food arrived to my house I noticed that not only were the portions tiny for almost 60 dollars worth of food, but we were also missing an item that we ordered. After further investigation I was able to figure out that they had removed it from our order and did not bother to inform us. We had 2 orders of chicken makhni (for 9.99 each) and got two small containers of the chicken, 2 containers of white rice (5.98), and 2 garlic nan (for 3.99 each). Here's the kicker, the containers were filled to the brim with sauce and had about 3 bite sized pieces of chicken in them EACH. The rice was undercooked (but at least they sent an abundance of rice) , and the nan was not that good. Now that we've talked about the food, let's talk about the customer service. When I realized that we weren't given the portions that could feed a family of 3, I called the restaurant to ask if there had been a misunderstanding. Nope, no misunderstanding. However, when I mentioned that each container had about 3 pieces of bite sized chicken, the woman cut me off mid sentence and said she was the one who puts orders together and I had to be wrong. She explained that we should have gotten at least half a chicken in each container (which we didn't). She told me not to order from there again if I didn't like their portions and there was nothing she could do for me.

Small and understated, but food is super tasty. I had the chicken tikka roll which was only 5 bucks! It was like a foot long and was more than enough for lunch... I saved half for dinner! Not only that, the flavors are amazing and the yogurt sauce adds additional flavor that doesn't take away from the roll at all. I also had the mango drink and it might be one of the best smoothies I've ever had. Would gladly recommend restaurant

Very unorganized. Took more than an hour to prepare my 6 orders and still have my order messed up after opening it when I brought it home. Would not go back ever again.

This place is great! The service has always been friendly and the food always perfect!! We've tried their zinger burger, and various desi dishes from achari chicken to biriyani to their naan. Everything's always tasted perfect! Can't think of a time when we left sad. Love this place and will always keep going back. :)

This place used to be good when it first opened, but now it's run down inside and unorganized. Bathroom is disgusting and floor was so flooded that water was seeping through the door. This BBQ Nite isn't good to dine in, but the other locations are. Food is ok but the zinger burger is the best. They updated their menu and don't have the platters anymore, so that's inconvenient for families. If you're going to eat here, place your order ahead and eat at home or in the car but not inside.

Delicious food. Had the chicken Kabab and chicken tikka rice. Garlic Naan. Have patience as they are very busy. Worth a wait or order on phone so you don't have to wait long. Good staff.

After greatly enjoying the other location on Hempstead Tpke, I figured this Hicksville spot would be the same. Wrong. The food is the same well prepared Pakistani cuisine. The nihari is spicy and delicious as is the chicken tikka kebab. I can't rate this one the same because service is utter chaos. Eating in and one person's food coming out a lot sooner than the other is the complaint. I still love the food here but this location is best to do take out. Prices are a bargain for the amount of food you get. Recommended for take out, if you're going to eat in, well, good luck.

I agree with all the other reviewers. This place has gone to sh*t. The guy that takes the orders over the phone is ridiculously rude and litterally hangs up on you when you call in. They are out of menu items on a regular basis, and the sanitation of this place is horible. Have given them enough chances, only to be disappointed over and over again. There are countless desi/halal spots in the area with better food and polite customer service. This place needs a makeover and new staff, or needs to be permanently shut down.

Good. Hard to navigate their system though. Food is good and consistent. Priced right. The Behari chicken was really good.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. DO NOT EAT HERE. My appetite went out the door when I got here. They served my masala fries within 5 minutes of my order however my order of 2 zinger burgers was completely forgotten. I waited over 30 minutes and after asking employees that work here they reassured me that my zinger burger was coming. Another 10 minutes pass and no burger. I saw people come in after me and got their food before me. I asked someone again and they finally said they ran out of chicken. At this point I was fuming. They took orders and made us wait for an hour for no reason. I understand on a Saturday restaurants get busy but there was NO communication to us about our burger and if I have to get up 3 times to inquire about my order then something is seriously wrong. There was no communication between the cashier and the cooks in the back. Save your money and go elsewhere.

This place is okay but the worst is the lack of sanitation. It was really dirty inside and literally looked like it had not been properly cleaned for days. Management needs to seriously look into a cleaning crew to fix the place up. Food was okay but wait is quite long as they do get many take out orders. I ordered the chicken Bihari kabab which was burnt so most of the flavor was the charcoal. The Chicken Biryani was good and so were the seekh kababs but nothing too special. The zinger burger was decent but not the best. All in all, you can probably find a better place than this.

The food is delicious (zingers, masala fries, burgers) but just know one thing. This place has the worst service you will ever encounter at a restaurant fast food or not. You will receive your fries within 5 minutes and your zingers/burgers after 45 minutes to an hour. The restaurant itself is absolutely filthy and unsanitary. The place needs serious renovation.

The cashier does not how to take orders. Plus, he says it's cheaper to use cash than credit card and when I'm about to think about using cash, he says 'I already charged it.' What the hell? Who does that? Don't plan to come here again. The food was whatever and the place could be cleaner.

This place is a Zoo. It's pure chaos, everyone all over the place. Firstly, when you walk in you grab a menu and find a table. Once you decide what you want to order you place your order at the counter and the server will bring to you once ready. However, no one tells you what is going on and what's the seating or ordering procedure. Customers who place a pickup order try to just stick their arm around you to pay and pickup instead of waiting your turn. The tables are dirty and seats sticky and to top it off the food isn't good. I'm not sure why everyone is flocking to this place. I definitely won't be going back. P.S. There's nothing special about the Zinger or the masala fries (thumbs down all the way).

First time and so happy we tried this restaurant (take out). I had ordered the Chicken Tikka Boti kabob and a side of Biryani. My coworker ordered a Mix Roll and given that we were novices at BBQ Nite, the gentleman threw in a Chicken Tikka Leg kabob. Along with this was some delicious sauces to pour over the rice and the chicken. What a great spot for lunch takeout for the office! The flavors were wonderful, a little heat but not too much and the pricing is very fair! Looking forward to trying other dishes in the coming weeks!

Saw the sign when driving by "BBQ nite" had to check it out. Place doesn't do the American style BBQ. It's a Halal BBQ joint that does kababs and such. I can say that not being a big indo-pak diner type of guy I ordered a "zinger burger". The menu states it is "Most famous in town" I don't know what the locals think, but the burger was awesome. It was a chicken burger done fried with breadcrumbs (home style) Chicken was super moist and tender. I could have ate two of them. Burger was topped with lettuce, tomato and mayo with maybe a dash of hot sauce. Food was great. I'll be back to explore the rest of the menu.

The best chicken burger and masala fries on earth. They had both kind of fries - masala and nonmasala ones but I ended up getting a huge platter of masala fries. They take a little time to really season the burger Patty but it is worth the wait. Don't forget to dip in the masala fries in a mixture of white sauce and ketchup.

The service here is horrible, the guy working the register need to lose the attitude , called to order food and the guy was yelling at me . Told me to that the food would be ready in 30 min got there in 30 min to find out they didn't even start making my order, waited another 30 min on top of that
