蛙! 烤鱼 BBQ Szechuan Cuisine

The setting was great, it’s beautifully decorated inside. The staff was questionable. We went in and ordered on their iPads and she just stared at us from across the restaurant almost the whole time. It was VERY awkward because it was a slower time so maybe only 2 other tables had people. She didn’t come over to converse but just kept staring from across the room. I really enjoyed the food, it was good. We only ordered appetizers because we planned on going to other places. We ordered about $44 dollars worth of appetizers and I planned on tipping but when the bill came she took the card and she said just to sign I said okay. Assuming I would be able to tip at the end. But NO She tipped herself already and the bill came out to be like $66? Around 60 something which i was very shocked because that’s more than 20% - I didn’t even get to pick how much I wanted to tip, which I thought was extremely RUDE considering she basically stood around and just stared at us the whole time. Like I said the Food was great, but the whole tip thing rubbed me the wrong way. (The oyster we tried was also disgusting, it looked really good but was raw and squishy it tasted slimy)

I was looking for a tasty place to eat by myself on Christmas and walked a bit before I found this place! I was seated very quickly, and the ordering is by tablet which is great and it has pictures! The food came out quickly and the potstickers and orange chicken were delicious! I would definitely go back!!

After Tanlu (a grilled fish restaurant)closed down, I have been trying to find alternative store to have grilled fish. So I can’t wait to try once this restaurant opens up. We ordered both grilled fish and frog, I actually like frog better and high recommend the pickled spicy flavor!!

This is probably one of the best places I have ate at in chinatown. There are a lot of good options on the menu but I could easily go there and just scarf down crawfish for a whole meal. The crawfish are super big and very flavorful

Good grilled fish with a variety of flavors. Frogs are tasty as well. Lovely and attentive service. This place used to be the Daguan noodles but it moved to the opposite side of the street

This is my new favorite restaurant in Chicago. If you like authentic Chinese style BBQ, this is the place for you.

Silken tofu, all BBQ items but especially lamb and sausage were so good. Loved how garlicky the low mein was. We were a party of 6 and got serviced in a timely manor for a good price. Def recommend for a group!
