Surprised about the other reviews. Food was ok, but had much better mussels and tuna, especially for this price. We had better service at the ihop this morning. Got one refill of water in over 60minutes. Asked 3 times to get the heater on. the kids burger meat was still uncooked inside. After telling the waiter they brought it back to the kitchen and reheated the same burger again. Aspen is always expensive, but if you mess up the cooking you should make a new one and not reheat the old one. Is a nogo for me.

This is our favorite place in Aspen for great patio dining with a wide array of interesting and delicious menu items and a sophisticated but approachable wine and cocktail list. Centrally located in Aspen, we're able to go hiking/skiing then swing by for brunch in a casual atmosphere that doesn't disappoint where it counts. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, especially the manager Christina, who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. The lounge is a nice space also, and it's one of our favorite spots to have a drink by the fire in the winter. The chef prepares food beautifully with interesting combinations and twists on familiar dishes at reasonable prices. We love it for after work drinks, fun brunches and even special occasions!

Have lived in Aspen for 30 years. Have experienced what was and is now considered to be the best fine dining restaurants in Aspen. BB'S has to be considered as one of the best restaurants in Aspen, or maybe the country. The quality of the ingredients, preparation, service, and ambiance are first rate. If you can dine on the patio with the very best view of Aspen mountain, it is not to be missed. Another plus, you can actually carry on a conversation, not the case in many other Aspen restaurants.

I'm just finishing a delicious meal at BB's Restaurant. The staff has been remarkably attentive and friendly. I had a bowl of chicken tortilla soup which was warm and delicious. I had the Colorado Buffaloes tenderloin, cooked medium rare and it was render and delicious. I highly recommend this place!

In the Aspen dining scene, certain spots aren't always front and center when you're thinking of where to eat, drink or hang out. bb's can fall into this category, as it's a scant, half-block away from much of the evening walking traffic. I'm here to tell you, you should make that half-block walk from the Cooper Ave pedestrian mall and up the stairs to this gem of a restaurant! The lounge is sexy, cozy and has a great view of the mountains and street scene below. The dinner menu is full of great selections, and in the lounge you can order from the bar menu, which is equally delicious and offers great value. Our group of 11 ordered a bunch of appetizers and entrees to share. Don't miss the Kale and Brussels Salad - arguably the best kale salad in town. The Arctic Char is fabulous, as is the Foie Gras and the Prime NY Strip. There are too many yummy items to mention! The main bartender in the lounge is friendly, fun and accommodating. He's a certified sommelier, so can lead you in just the right direction on the wine list. bb's is an all- around great spot. Keep it front and center on your list when choosing where to eat in Aspen!

Since bb's reinvented itself a few years ago, it has become one of my favorite eateries in Aspen. My husband and I love to share this amazing culinary experience with our friends and out-of-town guests. The delicious Caramelized Sea Scallops are a perfect summer dish. Wow! What a taste treat! Prepared with a sauce of English Peas, sweet corn and cherry tomatoes, the scallops explode with flavor, plus they are beautifully presented! The grits are a tasty complement. If you're looking for something lighter yet equally delicious, check out the bar menu. Three of us recently ate in the classy/casual lounge and shared three small plates -- the duck molè tacos, the wedge salad and the flatboard (always a favorite). A perfect way to end the day!

Me and my girlfriend came here on a recommendation and were thrilled! We started with the chicken liver paté, followed by the lobster scampi and the scallop entreé... it was spectacular! Fresh, delicious seafood is so hard to come by in the middle of the country, and we were blown away by the whole experience! The peaches 'n cream desert should not be forgotten, perfect finish!

Ordered a Greek salad and asked that the chicken was NOT over cooked and dry. Didn't work out as I had to cut off burn marks and grind this nasty bird out. They forgot these salads come with Feta and olives so had to add that as a side...worst part of meal was watching a server (not ours) scratch his head non stop, like he had bugs or something, then scratch his face and then grab the plates and serve food...uggggghh. Seriously think why you would eat here when there are plenty of other two and three star restaurants in Aspen. What is it with this town and mediocrity? Worst food town ever visited.
