In the Aspen dining scene, certain spots aren't always front and center when you're thinking of where to eat, drink or hang out. bb's can fall into this category, as it's a scant, half-block away from much of the evening walking traffic. I'm here to tell you, you should make that half-block walk from the Cooper Ave pedestrian mall and up the stairs to this gem of a restaurant!
The lounge is sexy, cozy and has a great view of the mountains and street scene below. The dinner menu is full of great selections, and in the lounge you can order from the bar menu, which is equally delicious and offers great value. Our group of 11 ordered a bunch of appetizers and entrees to share.
Don't miss the Kale and Brussels Salad - arguably the best kale salad in town. The Arctic Char is fabulous, as is the Foie Gras and the Prime NY Strip. There are too many yummy items to mention!
The main bartender in the lounge is friendly, fun and accommodating. He's a certified sommelier, so can lead you in just the right direction on the wine list. bb's is an all- around great spot. Keep it front and center on your list when choosing where to eat in Aspen!
