I recently had the pleasure of dining at BB’s Teriyaki Grill, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. I ordered the pork and chicken, and both dishes were bursting with flavor. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and infused with a delicious teriyaki sauce that had just the right balance of sweetness and savory notes. What really impressed me was the reasonable pricing. For the quality and taste of the food, I found the menu to be quite affordable, making it an excellent spot for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Overall, BB’s Teriyaki Grill offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and prices that won’t leave your wallet empty. I highly recommend it.

Google
First meal of my trip and I was seeking a quick teriyaki lunch. This was near work so it seemed an easy stop. Definitely a no-frills shop. I went simple with a mix of the spicy and regular chicken teriyaki, the cabbage salad, the stir fry veggies, and yakisoba. The chicken was fine. There’s not much char on it and since it’s sitting in containers, some was a little tougher/dried out. Both the spicy and normal were quite sweet. Now I’ll say the cabbage salad was a nice balance for this. It’s crispy and vinegary… a pickled cabbage. The stir fry veggies were ok, lightly seasoned and with a little crispness. The yakisoba noodles were tasty and a good portion. Not overcooked and a little chewy. Staff was nice though I was a little confused about getting the combo chicken meat and they didn’t understand me at first. The seating is basic and there’s not a lot of space, but good for a quick meal. Overall it seemed fine, though I’d like to try other places to get an idea of the variety.

We are here in Seattle Washington for the weekend and decided to try BB’s Teriyaki. The service was fast and the server was friendly . It was clean and a very good atmosphere. We enjoyed the taste all was hot fresh and delicious . I tried the chicken and idk with the vegetable stir fry and white rice . It was a lot so I shared it with my son but overall a very good place to eat . Thank you for your great service !

Google
Stayed with my wife at the citizenM hotel and came here for dinner. We were looking for something casual. The food was delicious and it definitely hit the spot! Highly recommended 🤙🏻

Build your own teriyaki that is also affordable? Count me in! The meals are $13.00 and you can choose from a variety of meats and sides. Nothing too crazy but during a lunch rush or a quick craving for teriyaki, this will be where you should be stopping by.

Google
Food is simple and delicious. Broccoli goes well with chicken and rice. I wrote this after trying everything in my order. It is good.

Google
I love this place! The spicy and the regular chicken were delicious. I also try the pork and the brisket and they were great. I really love places that use compostable bags and containers . The service was great. I just wish they could have less fat in the pork. But overall, this is a great place that serve big portions with a great teriyaki sauce!

Google
I dropped by this teriyaki joint, and while the ambiance was nice and the service quick, the chicken teriyaki was just okay. I had higher expectations for the dish, hoping for that perfect blend of flavors, but it fell a bit short. The chicken was cooked fine, but the teriyaki sauce lacked that signature taste and depth I love. Overall, it was an average experience, but the chicken teriyaki didn't quite hit the mark for me compared to what I've had at other places.

Yelp
BB's serves up yummy teriyaki plates that would perfect for a bite to bring to the office. Food is served lightning quick; I had placed a mobile pick-up order and it was ready by the time I had walked the block and a half from my office.

Yelp
My favorite teriyaki place to go while listening to 80's music. This place is the best!!!! Food is fresh. Service is great. Atmosphere is nice and clean. Please open another restaurant in Snohomish ;-)

Yelp
Delicious teriyaki! This is one of the closest teriyaki places to me and they are consistent and delicious. The teriyaki chicken is the only one I've tried, but it's always juicy, tender, and paired perfectly with their signature teriyaki sauce. I like how they also have a good helping of veggies as a healthy side and the rice is also cooked perfectly delicious. A worthy quick takeout spot!

Yelp
We were about to go to Chipotle next door but decided to try something different. And the selling point for me was being able to get a healthy meal. I went with the pickled cabbage, vegetable stir fry, tofu, and hot sauce. She got the yakisoba, vegetable stir fry, pork, and regular sauce. The food was good. A lot of flavors. Quick and friendly service. And best of all, prices were reasonable. Would definitely come here again.

Yelp
I went this place to see if it was any good or not. It's a teriyaki spot ya know...the food is right in front of you....you pick what you want...and leave. I didn't see much of a drink selection unless you want soda. Let me say this....if you want to taste the char of the grill from the teriyaki...you ain't getting it. Yakisoba kinda taste like ramen noodles from package...cabbage salad was good. Now if you want a quick lunch on the go and not too worried about food being perfect. Swing by and grab some food. I'll go eat there again....just giving you a heads up so you expectations aren't too high.

Yelp
Best teriyaki in Seattle! The food is great and super quick, and the service is awesome. Everyone who works here is super friendly.

Zachary A.

Yelp
The spicy chicken at this location is consistently overcooked and burnt, also cut terribly.
google avatar

Tiffany P.

Yelp
Quick lunch spot during the weekday. I did not enjoy the beef that I ordered. It was very dry and tough to chew. I also got the spicy sauce that wasn't spicy at all.
google avatar

Allison F.

Yelp
Great place for teriyaki! Large portions, always hot and delicious. Plain and spicy options. Quick service and has always been super clean when I go in!

Ruby Rose Q.

Yelp
Great teriyaki and kind servers. Our whole family ate here. We especially liked the chicken and pork. White rice was delicious. Great broccoli. Seems like a good lunch place and many people seemed to enjoy lunch here.

Yelp
Meh. It wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't great. It was, at least, cheap and close to the hotel, which were two things we were looking for at that point in time. They had a few other small groups dining in when we arrived, and even though it was almost 90 degrees and humid outside, they weren't using A/C inside the restaurant. It was *sweltering* inside (and it was cooler outside when we finally left, if you can believe that.) You order at the counter: Step 1, pick up to 3 bases (I went with the yakisoba-type noodles and broccoli, hubs got the white rice and broccoli); Step 2, pick a protein (I went with the tofu, hubs did the same); Step 3, pick a sauce (regular for both of us). And that's it, for $10. Thing is, they have this saying posted all over the place: #GetLostInTheSauce, and I found myself thinking, "how is that even a thing?" They give you two options - regular or spicy...how exactly does one get lost in something as sad as that? Anyway, the tofu was a bit overly-cooked, which made it dry, even though it was swimming in the sauce that we were supposed go get lost in. The yakisoba noodles had a slight sweetness to them that I found a bit off-putting, but at least the broccoli was perfectly steamed and vibrant. Definitely not the highlight of our brief Seattle trip, but at least it was cheap.

Yelp
This place is like a .. solid 2.8? Just very mediocre "teriyaki" feels like a cheap chipotle. I personally wouldn't get this again but its convenient . If you're craving teriyaki I wouldn't come here . I would go to an actually teriyaki place . This is like a Walmart grade level of Panda Express but teriyaki. Personally I think they're going to need to revamp their brand or do something different cause it felt like a deserted cafeteria that got left behind all the trends. ( and the food doesn't taste good either so why would anybody come back )
google avatar

Brianna B.

Yelp
I wasn't sure what to expect with the mixed reviews but I'm glad I tried BB's! I thought the chicken, sauce and rice was really good and I would happily go back in the future. My chicken was juicy, flavorful and not fatty like some restaurants' chicken can be. The mixed veggies were pretty good but I'd probably do another side in the future. I realized afterward that the salad dressing was in the bag and I didn't see it in the first place but I think that would've made the salad much better - my bad Overall I've tried a few teriyaki places in the area and I would be happy to come back to this one when craving teriyaki (: Big portions too!
google avatar

Shia G.

Yelp
Since I'm new to the state, I had to try teriyaki and so glad there's one near my new home! It's next to a chipotle that has the same type of style (what you want in your box). I went for all rice and non-spicy chicken with regular teriyaki but I love how there's a good variety of stuff to choose! The person serving us was also super nice! :D I love it. The chicken is tender, the sauce is a bit sweet but it's teriyaki sauce so it's perfect to me. The rice is super fluffy and soft too ugh. Love everything about this place and their food. Super stoner approved for sure
google avatar

Karen P.

Yelp
Food is always great but the portions lately are really lacking. Maybe it's just this location but I'm very disappointed!!
google avatar

Michael G.

Yelp
I love the recipes at these spots. The Brisket teriyaki is one of my favorite things and it's not something you see at most other places. Unfortunately I think the branding makes people think this place is some huge corp like chipotle, but it's cool that it's actually a local small business. Hope these stick around for a while
google avatar

Huong L.

Yelp
This place is relatively new to the south lake union area and I was craving for teriyaki so I decided to give them a try. They are like chipotle style where you can choose what base you want, what sauce you like, and the protein. I got tofu for protein with variety of veggies for my base with a side of spicy chicken. For $10, they gave you a lot of food!!! It can easily feed me 2 meals. It's not the best food I had but it's high quality food for a reasonable price. I can see myself coming here for lunch more often as it can be a healthy lunch or a heavy lunch depending on my mood :)
google avatar

Lucien G.

Yelp
Great spot for a quick lunch downtown. They offer a variety of options including white/brown rice, choice of veggies/sides, and choice of protein. generously portioned and very well priced. I've had the pork and a couple of their other options but the chicken is definitely the best I had the spicy chicken with brown rice and double broccoli. Chicken was flavorful, broccoli was pretty good, a little softer than I like but still flavorful. Spicy sauce is great. The staff here is super friendly and service is very fast. 1 min from when I walked in to being checked out fast even with a person in line in front of me.

Lee B.

Yelp
The workers in this location needs to know what customer service means. First time in this establishment. The three workers just looked at me and continued to do whatever they were doing. I stood in front of the menu by door for 3 minutes or so. They would look at me, no smile no acknowledge until I said something. The guy just point and guess that's where I start the order. No kind of customer service. Smile it's free. Everyone knows how to smile. Oh by the way the noodles had no taste to them. Chicken needed seasoning and broccoli was good.
google avatar

Charlie Z.

Yelp
Ordered takeout from here mainly because of the price. 12 dollars for teriyaki seemed too good to be true. In the end, I guess it was. I got chicken with extra beef brisket and they were both extremely dry. The beef was borderline inedible and I had to drink 4 glasses of water with the meal. I also got a side of gyoza and it was alright. I couldn't eat the food without chugging a gallon of water. Even then, the beef was tough and hard to eat. The teriyaki flavor was alright I guess. With the abundance of great teriyaki places in Seattle, I definitely won't be trying this place again.

Casey A.

Yelp
Omg that was horrible.... Instant regrets. Send help. If they ask I'm in the bathroom until further notice.
google avatar

Kallysta G.

Yelp
Best service, prices and speed in town! I love walking down here for my quick snack fix of their delicious steamed gyoza. When i'm running on an empty stomach, I love their teriyaki chicken, extra sauce, lettuce and brown rice with some sesame seeds sprinkled on the top. I've recommended this place to a couple coworkers and highly recommend this place to everyone. They're always friendly, always amazingly priced and always incredibly fast here at SLU BB's.
google avatar

Val E.

Yelp
You are getting your money's worth at this place if you eat meat. If you don't, I would skip it because the tofu is not the best. $10 for a massive amount of their shredded pork = 10/10!!
google avatar

McKenzie C.

Yelp
For whatever reason, BB's has become one of my very favorite teriyaki restaurants. It's quick and easy, and while it's not always freshly cooked and hot (they serve their food somewhat similarly to Chipotle or Panda Express on a heated, behind the counter buffet table), it never fails to make me happy. Super affordable too!
google avatar

Isaac H.

Yelp
Do you like value? BB's Teryaki Grill serves big plates of broccoli topped with protein for days, sauce and sesame seeds all for nine dollars. While this might sound competitive in the U District, it's pretty silly in SLU. And reviews from other locations mention varying portion sizes - not here! Each of the friendly and upbeat staff pile high every day. The culinary quality doesn't quite rival Sizzle and Crunch, but for fast, healthy and cost-effective lunches, this place is top of the line. I recommend the spicy chicken or the beef over broccoli with both sauces. Don't wait for the pandemic to end because these guys are wide open. The one knock I'll give is the un-intuitive order format: They serve your sides in containers with two small compartments and one large, which involves some explanation on your first visit and often some clarifying questions from the server. While the branding and decorations give off an organized corporate vibe, the order system feels more like a family-run business that wants to give customers an unusual degree of control over their teriyaki plate. But that control is just another part of what has me hooked: I can sub a small compartment for stir fry one day or noodles the next. Any lunch spot needs variety to become your regular, and that's just what BB's has become.

Stuart S.

Yelp
Super clean. Delicious food. Reasonable pricing. Friendly staff. What more could you ask for? Visiting from out of town and happened by this spot almost accidentally, but glad we did! It is very straightforward; just pick up to 3 sides, pick your protein and decide if you want a drink. It's $12 (plus 3 if you want a drink). I had the brisket which literally fell apart on my fork and my wife had the (non -spicy) chicken. Both very satisfied!

Peter S.

Yelp
I've been here several times and if I had to pick this would probably be my favorite place to go on my lunch break. It tastes great, it's fast, it's cheap for SLU, and it's a lot of food. I normally get rice, broccoli, stir fry veg, and pork with the spicy sauce, but can also vouch for their cabbage and chicken. As of right now that's $13 (plus tax and tip) for a delicious meal that will not leave you hungry. Have seen other people complain that it was too dry, never had that problem (maybe they reacted to the feedback). Also worth noting that all of the packaging is compostable.

Sean R.

Yelp
Yakisoba is fantastic. Best teriyaki chicken I've had, no weird bits. Very fast service and clean atmosphere. I recommend getting the spicy chicken with spicy sauce.
google avatar

Rick J.

Yelp
Good price. I ordered the brisket ($3 extra). Very dry. The side of sauce they give you is very liquid for teriyaki and did nothing for it. Dry like in shards dry. Heard nothing but good things and wanted to try it,but very Disappointed.

Raz R.

Yelp
I live in SLU. BB's is honestly just pretty good but is the MVP for being almost the ONLY place in SLU where you can get lunch for $13 and it actually fills you up (only almost cus chipotle is right next to it). If this place had a stat hexagon like pokemon or dancedancerevolution songs it would be mid-tier in all areas then A-tier for price and quantity. FIVE STARS
google avatar

Jennifer E.

Yelp
This is the worst teriyaki I've ever had! Yuck Yuck!! I got the yakisoba noodles, rice , some kind of strange salad and spicy chicken.... utterly the worst flavors and worst way having a teriyaki style chicken. I just ate the rice and some of noodles... the green salad is beyond awful. Waste of $10. I will never eat here again. The staff was nice. That's the only reason why they get a star. I got home and my take out box was soaked in grease and sauce. So be sure to get a bag with your order or else your cheap take container will be on the ground. Be sure to get extra sauce on the side. Super dry chicken. Grab the hot sauce too... the chicken is not really spicy.
google avatar

Briana W.

Yelp
This chain restaurant is not even half as good as at the Asian deli... let's just support small businesses. Their food tastes way way way better! Their sautéed veggies are a joke!

Clayton W.

Yelp
BB's is the best meal in Seattle for 12 dollars. Great chicken and rice definitely try the brisket too.
google avatar

Severine L.

Yelp
Visiting from Texas and staying just across the road. I wanted something quick and hoping it be good. This was MOST wonderful! Food was really fresh, very flavorful and the 2 employees /cooks that were working Sunday (Aug 15) evening were SO kind, helpful just great! A good portion good taste @ a great price..... I recommend you try this place! I had the brown rice, pulled pork w/ cabbage and brocolli
google avatar

Isaac A.

Yelp
Spicy chicken with extra spicy sauce with brown rice, broccoli, and yakisoba. The yakisoba wasn't to my liking but overall good. Also could of had different kind of spicy because it wasn't spicy at all.
google avatar

Al V.

Yelp
I had the brisket and it seemed a little dry, chewy and slightly overcooked compared to the brisket at BB's on 3rd ave in downtown seattle. Other than that everything's good.

Christy Y.

Yelp
Great food! Teriyaki with a Spanish kick. Great prices for large portions! Roughly about $13 a meal.
google avatar

Thomas G.

Yelp
Love the concept of a Chipotle-style fast casual teriyaki restaurant, and the workers here are always super nice, they have Mexican music on the speakers which makes me smile as it contrasts with the style of food. However, there is one big problem keeping this from being a go-to place for lunch for me: the freshness of the food. The meat tastes fine, but the noodles and veggies (especially the noodles) taste like they've been sitting out, affecting their texture/mouthfeel. If they got the noodles (yakisoba) right, I'd look forward to grabbing quick meals from here.
google avatar

Will S.

Yelp
They give you a shitload of food for only $10. My only complaint is that it's a bit oily / greasy. Staff is very friendly.

Greg C.

Yelp
Chicken teriyaki with white rice, yakisobu and a green salad for $11 - tasty chicken and large portions. I'll be back.

Monika D.

Yelp
Great food and big portions with three sides! I would definitely l come back here again!
google avatar

Lauren K.

Yelp
I'm new to Seattle & have officially found my go-to Teriyaki spot. The spicy teriyaki is great, sweet with just a little bit of heat. The Yakisoba is very good, broccoli is nicely steamed. The staff was helpful & friendly. I'll definitely be a return customer.

Gregory V.

Yelp
easy, affordable, chipotle style teriyaki chicken. yum
google avatar

Archibald J.

Yelp
I have been going to BB's teriyaki in the U district for several years now and decided to give this location a try and it suffices to say it hits just the same! The best combination is to get spicy chicken with both sauces and then ask for salad dressing on everything. The dressing really gives the chicken a nice flavor and is some of the best Asian dressing I have ever had! If you're look for a quick good meal for your lunch break this is the place to go!

Emily I.

Yelp
This location opened up pretty close to my work, so I've ordered online twice and ordered in person once so far. The teriyaki is pretty solid - I've had both the regular chicken and pork and liked both (pork is extra $ though). Portions are fairly generous as well. I usually have white or brown rice and broccoli as my sides and have no complaints there. As one other reviewer mentioned, the yakisoba is a little... odd. Not sure how to describe the flavor but it had a bizarre sweetness and I wasn't a fan. It went largely untouched the one time I ordered it. If you order online, it'll be ready in about 10 minutes and you can go pick it up without even having to talk to a human. That's my kind of place!
google avatar

Michael E.

Yelp
Fast and easy to order. Food was not very good. Yakisoba noodles were mushy and sickly sweet (tasted like brown sugar). Fine place for a quick meal, but definitely not a recommendation for good teriyaki.
google avatar

Kiran D.

Yelp
Best Teriyaki of all I have tried till date. A must try. They are quick and efficient. I did not have to wait even for a minute. Best option for someone looking for a quick lunch pick-up.

T B.

Yelp
This place has become an addiction for me since moving to SLU. It's great to see a restaurant following the guidelines to opening Seattle Safely! Food is freshly made, taste great & never disappoints.

Dom L.

Yelp
I'm surprised there aren't more reviews here because this place is PACKED at lunch. I ordered online which was so convenient, order was done in 10 because they have everything precooked. Veggies were a good portion, loved the pickled cabbage, and spice level of chicken and sauce was good. The yakisoba though? WTH, weirdest taste ever. Like many others echo in their reviews of the University location, the noodles are super sweet like there is added sugar. I will get rice next time; good for a teriyaki fix, but nothing special.

Jason H.

Yelp
Oh my god thank you for opening a real teriyaki joint in south lake union. So much food in SLU doesn't represent Seattle but this does! Legit teriyaki and a new way of ordering which is so fast and convenient while also being customized. I'm gonna be bummed when this place gets packed for lunch everyday but it deserves it, great concept and great food!
