After more than 20+ years of being a loyal customer, I can honestly say I have never experienced service this poor. From the moment our order was taken, we were rushed and made to feel like an inconvenience. We ordered drinks along with our food, but they never arrived. When I tried to get the original server's attention, she ignored and dismissed me, signaling for another server instead. At first, I gave her the benefit of the doubt because it was busy, until I watched her actively cater to surrounding tables, bringing them water, appetizers, and checking in repeatedly. It became impossible not to notice the pattern. Another server eventually came by and brought our drinks, which was appreciated, but after that, no one returned to our table. No offers for additional appetizers, no refills, no check-ins, NOTHING. Meanwhile, every table around us was being attended to consistently. By that point, I was so frustrated that I could no longer enjoy the meal. I wanted to take the food to go, but even that required me to walk to the counter to speak with the manager. After explaining everything, all I received was a brief apology. Overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing. Service like this makes it impossible to enjoy. I don't believe I can return after this, which is a shame given how long l've supported this place.
I also feel it's important to note that I am African American and I feel as though that may have played a role in the way I was treated, I would like to not believe so, however it's something that needs to be highlighted not ignored.
