I am writing to formally record a serious and unacceptable failure in service, hygiene, and basic hospitality standards during our recent stay at Be Cosy Hotel. The experience was deeply disappointing and well below any reasonable expectation of a hotel establishment.
We booked accommodation for three adults and one child and clearly requested two rooms next to each other. This request was ignored entirely, with no explanation or effort made to accommodate us.
From the moment we arrived, it was evident that guest service is not a priority. There was no assistance available to help carry our luggage, setting the tone for an extremely poor stay.
The condition of the room was unacceptable. Compounding this were repeated hygiene-related failures:
⢠No drinking water was provided.
⢠Bath towels were not replaced daily, despite repeated requests.
⢠Swimming pool towels were also not changed, and we were forced to ask numerous times before receiving clean towels.
⢠The bedding and linen were never changed throughout our stay. Having to beg staff to change bedding is humiliating, inappropriate, and completely unacceptable. Being told this was âhotel policyâ only highlights a severe disregard for guest comfort and hygiene.
Breakfast arrangements were equally unacceptable:
⢠The hotel ran out of bacon on two separate mornings.
⢠On another morning, eggs were unavailable.
⢠When these issues were raised, we were told that breakfast is managed by a separate business. This response is unacceptable. Guests book with the hotel, not a third party, and the hotel remains fully responsible for the quality of the overall experience.
Overall, our familyâs holiday was severely compromised by these repeated service failures. The lack of basic hygiene standards, poor communication, and dismissive attitude from staff fall far below acceptable industry norms and are entirely inconsistent with what Be Cosy Hotel claims to offer..
