This is my happy place where I have been Stay. Ing every year for over 41.Yes and it would be twice a year for my vacation. Best hotel I have ever stayed at and the best workers ever.. Most of whom have we family members.... They are the kindest ever!!!

We bought a vacation club contract with this hotel in 2009 and the management of the hotel and International Vacation Club has changed hands 3 times since then. It makes it nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone to pay maintenance fees, book a week, deposit a week into Interval, etc. They only provide one means to contact them, reservations.marpp@marienhotels.com and that Hyatt manages the contract. I have sent 1/2 a dozen messages and made 1/2 a dozen calls and nobody has helped me. I contacted the LifeStyle Holidays reservation service, reservationssvc@lifestyleholidaysvc.com, and they said they no longer do the reservations for this contract and they have no idea who does. This is unacceptable customer service. I paid my dues last year and was told to use these contacts going forward and it's a total scam and misdirection tactic. I warn everyone to carefully consider NOT buying a vacation club contract with this resort. Unless, you like to chase these things around for days and weeks.

I have been going here for many years the workers greet me like family or an old friend they remember my name and i love that. I remember when i first went they had an ice cream parlor and would have shows and some vendors where you can buy items to take back home they were all inclusive and it was beautifully. Am sure can every room on both side was taken however when i went this year the entire back i guess was being turned into apartments its no longer all inclusive the crowd was not there and they are working with not much workers am a bit heartbroken i miss some of the folks that had become friends with me and not to mention the the all inclusive, the crowds i do truly. I miss sitting by the beach at night with the music and drinking something in a glass that the friendly bartenders would make. That being said i will continue going there is a wonderfully beach in the back that i love swimming in however i hope they bring back the all inclusive so the crowd and workers will be back .|Deborah

love the hotel! everything was great my room had a beautiful view thanks too sara segura and leydi 😍 they made sure we had the best view possible we had a beach view it was great to wake up in the morning with thos view in front. aside from the great room we had everything was nice and clean i am very picky when it comes to this stuff. we also had the pelicano restaurant right inside the hotel the view and the food was amazing. right next to it we also had neptuno restaurant i think it was the best the food, the view it was sooo relaxing to drink a coffee this morning woth the beach view i did not want to leave! i hope to be back soon before my vacation ends!

The hotel is not what it use to be at all… the club was not open and it was boring the only fun was leaving the resort… the shows was not what they were before and the food was not that great but if you eat out side the resort it was amazing… the only plus for me is that it will force me to try another spot I would go there 3 times a year in the past … I’m a person of habit! and the Uber is not safe there once your in the car they say that Uber is paying to low and they can’t take you to where u want to go unless you give them 1500 more in pesos…….

I came here for the first time ever. I truly hate this hotel. The worse hotel I don’t recomend to anyone. When I got in they service poor the receptionist not good at all the room OMG the worse of the worse they smell straight like MOD and the toilet don’t event work. My bed was dirty and had weed all over the sheets and pillows. The worse it’s not event close to a 2.7 star hotel I swear if I could give them a 0 start I would have. I please don’t come to this hotel you will regret it. It’s not worth the price. DONT EVEN HAVE WI-FI N The tv never have a good signal either the worse people don’t make my mistake don’t think because in pictures look beautiful it’s beautiful because it’s not. It’s a true nightmare.. the room was so dirty it’s crazy sheets and all.

I was lucky enough to work remotely during the months of Sept and Oct. I made a trip to Boca Chica and stayed the the La Hamaca Suites. First i would say from day of my stay the staff (Siudersy,Zuleida,Pio) made my stay very relaxing and accommodating. Siudersy took care of whatever needs and requests i had and made sure my booking requests where done for the past 6 weeks. I stayed during the non all inclusive period per covid. And i must say they made sure i had the right people get my food and pointed me in the right direction to whatever requests i needed. Also the secondary staff was amazing as well ( CLEANING LADY, PORTER) where so amazing and respectful. Location was amazing right on the beach which was very clean and the strip to the other beaches and restaurants. From Management to staff i was treated with so much respect and class i have not one complaint. Now for the people who read this remember this is a hotel and covid has hurt alot of workers income. Please make sure you tip the employees DR is still a very poor country and the workers will very much appreciate it. The workers there will work with you and make sure you needs are met. Again thanks to Siudersy for the very attentive help and making sure my stay went ery smooth and well.

Front desk associates were rude, unprofessional & don't know how to treat their guests. They need a lot more training when it comes to customer service & hospitality. I traveled with friends for vacation & the vacation turned out to be a nightmare. We had an issue in the hotel & no one knew how to solve the problem. We also didn't like the fact that after paying a lot of money for our stay we had to pay extra for towels & safe deposit keys for our valuables each day. We spoke to the manager the next day & explained the issue verbally & on paper, but the note we wrote wasn't signed. First & last time we stay in this hotel. I certainly do not recommend it to anyone traveling to DR. They take advantage of tourists in a lot of ways. Very dissatisfied with their service.
