Be Mate Casa Di Bava - Apartments

10/10 stay in Istanbul. Wow, at first I was a little worried because the outside looks a little bit sketchy but honestly, this place is so cute, charming the staff is so friendly and helpful. it’s so clean and it is in the most convenient location in between everything that you need. Thank you tamamm for all your hospitality!

We canceled the booking a few days prior due to intense protests happening in the city, but they didn't refund us anything, not even half let alone the full charge. Since we came here to enjoy and relax for the vacation which we would not be able to due to loud noise and safety concerns of the protests, it seems reasonable for us to ask for at least a small refund, since there were no expenses from our side and they would still profit. I don’t know if it is just a policy problem but hope they can make some changes regarding

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in Istanbul! The apartment was big and clean, it’s newly renovated and the location is perfect. Internet was fast and the bed was really comfortable. There is an elevator inside the building so it’s easy to move with a suitcase. Tammam was friendly and offered an upgraded room and allowed an early check in. Highly recommend!

Casa di Bava Review ||Casa di Bava was recommended by a colleague who stayed last year.  We booked 4 nights in the smallest apartment - No. 2 - which had windows to the street and was fine for a few nights for just 2 people.  Only downside for me was lack of space in the bedroom for a second bedside table.  Loved Istanbul so much and the Beyoglu area in particular that we extended for 3 nights in the larger apartment No. 8 on level 3 - fabulous, spacious, balcony, separate kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, huge fridge and very effective oven/microwave/grill.  The street is lively and fascinating to watch, esp in the evenings, but the double glazing ensures a good night's sleep.  The beds were both very comfortable, nice cotton sheets and all in all a very comfortable stay.  The manager, Tamam, has excellent english and was super helpful and accommodating.  The location couldn't have been better, we were spoilt for places to eat - all reasonably priced.  Some favourites were Norre - two doors down, TomTom Kebap and Ozan Borek around the corner, Zerze, a little further but home made beautiful food, and Vegan Istanbul, two streets away.  We would 100% book Casa di Bava again!!

Great place! Great location! Easy and friendly staff. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Great value! FYI, this part of Istanbul is VERY hilly. If walking, be prepared!

We rented a Deluxe apartment with a bedroom, living room and kitchen. When visiting Istanbul, we return to Casa Di Bava. The hotel staff is always in touch. Self check-in was no problem. As always, excellent service and cleanliness. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed. Interior in modern style. You can cook in the kitchen yourself, there is a washing machine, all accessories in the bathroom. There is a balcony with views of Galata. The hotel is located 3-5 minutes from Istiklal on a picturesque street. From the airport you can take a bus to Taksim Square and then walk to the hotel.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The rooms were clean and the hotel location is perfect. But the service takes the cake, especially Tammam. He went out of his way to ensure I got a taxi on time when I was in a rush, and this extra care and attention isn’t something you find everywhere. Definitely my go-to hotel when in Istanbul.

The hotel is a surprise! It's warm, well decorated, super clean and comforting, and manager Tommam is so helpful about very thing! He called taxi for us (to airport with meter! amazing!). It's 8 mins walk to tram station or Galata port (museum and shopping mall and nice restaurant). Also we walked back from Taksim. Nice and boutique shops, and cheap market can both be found within 5 mins walk! Bars are almost downstairs....
