I honestly don’t understand how this property has so many good reviews. Our overall experience was very disappointing. We booked a junior suite, expecting something comfortable and spacious, but the reality was far from it. The staff is the only positive — Maria and Juju were absolutely lovely, very sweet, and always willing to help. Their service was genuinely the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the rooms and property itself were a big letdown. We were given a very small, tacky room that felt overpriced for what it offered. The breakfast was repetitive and uninspired — exactly the same items every single morning, with no variation at all. This property advertises itself as a four-star hotel, but there is honestly nothing four-star about it. We have stayed at other four-star hotels on the islands of Mykonos and Santorini, where staff would help with luggage. Here, we had to carry everything up and down ourselves — how is that even close to a four-star experience? Overall, while the staff deserves credit for being warm and accommodating, the property itself feels overpriced, misleading in its pricing, and below expectations in terms of comfort. Sadly, I would not recommend it and felt it was a rip-off compared to what was promised. The location however was a plus

Be My Guest Athens offers a highly recommended stay, particularly the 2-bedroom apartment type, which, while located a minute's walk from the main lobby, provides excellent convenience. Check-in was fast and smooth, handled by exceptionally kindly staff. The apartment itself is large, clean, and comfortable, featuring a separate living room, a functional kitchen, and a lovely balcony—perfect for unwinding. Although there's no private parking, finding street parking nearby wasn't an issue. Its location is superb, being near a supermarket, coffee shops, and the Acropolis. Overall, it's a truly worthy option for your Athens visit.

This was a wonderful hotel with a perfect location to everything without having to hear all the late night noise. We stayed in the 2 bedroom for our first 7 night stay and it was amazing. the apartment was clean and they cleaned daily, providing fresh linens. The washing machine was incredibly helpful during our trip to cut down on how much we had to pack. Location wise, it was perfect. we were close to everything but in a quiet area with access to a grocery store and pharmacy. We came back for 1 night before flying home, after traveling elsewhere. Again, another great stay. All their rooms are wonderful and ideal for families traveling!

Stayed here for two night in June 2025 ahead of a week long cruise starting in Piraeus. After landing at Athens Airport we ordered a taxi through FreeNow, and this took around 45 minutes to get us to the hotel- cost was around 55 Euros.||When we arrived we pressed the front door buzzer and were let in- we took (the pretty small) lift up to the third floor where we were checked in pretty quickly. Our room was on the second floor and overlooked apartments at the back of the building, and we had no disturbance from outside during our stay.||The room was not particularly large, but provided enough space to store our luggage and offered storage areas to hang clothing. The bathroom was again small but well maintained, and there was also a good quality TV and wi-fi offered. There was a safe supplied but the instructions (found in the safe itself) were very confusing and we managed to lock it and not work out the opening process. We called on a member of staff who quickly resolved this (friends who were also staying in the hotel at the same time also had the same problem).||Tea and coffee-making facilities were provided, and though breakfast was offered we were on a room-only basis so went out each morning. We were glad we made this decision, as there a number of good quality cafes within walking distance, in particular on Vasilis Street and towards the Thiseio Metro station. We also ate out locally on both evenings of our stay, and again there a lot of restaurants closer by- we particularly liked Kotsakia & mantinades which is very close to the hotel and offered excellent home-style Greek food.||The hotel is well located, being only a short walk to the Acropolis and other tourist attractions but being on a mainly residential street. It is also close to the entertainment district of Gazi, and has an excellent supermarket literally next door. On the day of our departure to Piraeus to board our cruise our taxi cost 15 Euros for a 20-minute trip.||The stay at Be My Guest was a great start to our holiday, and would be happy to stay here again.

Great location to restaurants, grocery stores and of course the Acropolis. The staff were fantastic and so helpful during our stay. Breakfast is perfect and had a good variety.I would highly recommend and would stay again.

I booked the Rock apartment, and it was an absolute nightmare. The apartment is a basement, and if you look at the pictures attached, you'll see that the walls are covered in graffiti. The windows are secured with metal bars, which already gives an unsettling vibe. The location is unsafe—since the apartment is surrounded by pavement, pedestrians can reach inside through the windows if you open them, creating a serious security risk. The advertisement claiming there are two sofa beds is completely false; there was only one, and it was in awful condition. My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The place was dirty, poorly maintained, and felt unsafe. Never again — it was a horrible experience, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs. Never again, avoid.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. Every day, they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable — and our young son especially loved all the daily fist bumps from the team. I want to give a special mention to the reception team: Maria-Christina, Tonia, George, and especially Foufou, who was so incredibly helpful and kind. Whether it was chatting with us for 20 minutes about the best places to go (including spot-on restaurant recommendations, dress codes, and hidden tips) or helping us figure out where to get aloe vera when we got a little too much sun, they always went above and beyond. When all the local stores were closed, they even suggested a delivery service so we wouldn’t have to wait until the next day — a small gesture that meant a lot to us. The housekeeping team — Katerina, Klaountia, Panagoita, and Vasiliki — also deserve recognition for keeping everything spotless and always greeting us with a smile and a fist bump for our son. The location couldn’t have been better — just a few minutes’ walk from fantastic restaurants and breathtaking views of the Acropolis. It made exploring the city effortless and enjoyable. It’s rare to find a hotel where every single interaction feels genuine, but this team truly cares about their guests. We left feeling not only relaxed but grateful for the kindness we experienced here. Highly recommend!

the location is central in Athens, not long from acropolis! Checked inn with my family very late at night, and they got us a room as soon as possible, the receptionist was very nice, and offered us free breakfast in the morning. the rooms are very clean, and modern. since we checked in so randomly, was the room booked some days, and we lacked place to stay, so the owner referred us to one of his air bnb for the price of a room at their hotel. this is the best customer service ever!! the balcony on top is beautiful!!
