Be Papagayo - Chiringuito

Beautiful location, but the food is not on the same level. The food is expensive (around 20-30€ for a main dish), but that is not the main issue. We ordered lobster rice which was so salty and greasy that it was almost not edible, and I felt so sick afterwards that I threw up. The other meal we ordered was a pork dish which was so small of a portion that could not justify the price. Also the staff were not as friendly. Such a shame because the location is perfect. Better to take some food from home and save some money.

We popped in without reservation and staff was really helpful in finding the table we wanted. Fried calamari was tasty but at 17€ each was a bit over the top. Vibe of the location is priceless. It definitely deserves a stop if you visiting papagayo beach.

We had a very nice lunch experience here even without a reservation which is usually recommended! The food overall was good but generally a little overpriced. However the view was really good onto the beach.

So much more than just a beach restaurant! Of course the view is amazing but the dishes are great too! Fresh seafood are perfect. And some recipes have inventive special touch that makes it particular (try the goat cheesecake with smoked paprika) 😋

As soon as you arrive they want you to leave. Eat as quickly as possible and get out. If you want to be made to feel you are in the way. That there are better customers than you. This is the place. Irony is there are always spare tables whereas the restaurants next door have queues of people waiting to be seated. The setting is worth five stars, the attitude zero.

One of my favorite places on Lanzarote! Outstanding quality of food and service and stunning views. They also have plenty of gluten-free options. I‘d recommend to reserve as it gets quite full. I really recommend the Ceviche 🫠. Also, they support local products and make efforts in nature conservation for the island. It is run by people from the Island and has a good mix of local guests and tourists which I always find is a good sign!

Guys if you are in Papagayo you have to be papagayo. The views and the product they have are amazing. The prices are quite high compared to the rest of the places but you are in front of the sea, enjoying the real Spanish food and good music. It’s a place to go and be relax. You have your cocktails your paella to share and just let it go. Staff was very nice and they really look after you.

We were 3 people. We only ordered a coffee and they were disappointed to have blocked a table with us. They made that clearly visible! We stayed 10 minutes and left. Not worth at all. You have a better view from the dunes around
