A hidden gem. This seafood restaurant with an Asian influence was a delightful find. By day it looks like a hidden beach shack on Williams Esplanade. By night it's a lovely little no frills restaurant on a pretty deck overlooking Palm Cove beach. The food is amazing! We had a nice little starter of flat bread with garlic herb dipping sauce, followed by the barramundi wrapped in banana leaf with a Thai coconut sauce. The barramundi was bursting with flavour and just melted in your mouth. We also had the chilli grilled king prawns. Huge fresh prawns bursting with flavour. The food was fresh and well prepared. A little on the pricey side, but that's to be expected with fresh seafood. It was well worth the price. Delightful service with friendly staff. We were offered a free sample on the way out, of their fresh ice cream bean fruit. A refreshing delight to finish the night. We will definitely dine here again next time we are back in Palm Cove.

Amazing Flavours in Palm Cove This small, unassuming restaurant in Palm Cove is a true hidden gem. The food is absolutely incredible—so much so that we dined here both nights of our stay. The service was friendly and attentive, with everything on the menu freshly made and bursting with flavour. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, including handmade prawn and crab spring rolls, tender calamari, and soft shell crab for entrées. For mains, the crispy-skinned white fish, pork ribs, and chilli prawns were all exceptional. Don’t miss the desserts, especially the sticky black rice and crème brûlée. With a great location and stunning views, this is a must-visit spot in Palm Cove!

We had the half lobster seafood platter and a stir fry vegetable with long beans. The lobster was cooked in a coconut turmeric sauce. It was simply delicious. The mussels melts in your mouth, the fried calamari, grilled prawns and barramundi were so fresh and delicious. The salad and dipping sauce goes so well with the dish. The servings were generous and it is reasonably price compare to Melbourne. Michelle looked after us and she was so helpful and friendly in helping us choose our meal. The service and food were first class.

My mum and I are from Melbourne and were travelling through Palm Cove when we saw this lovely restaurant. Super friendly staff, attentive and amazing food. We had the whole crispy fish and banana leaf barramundi and can confirm it was the best fish we have had - packed with flavour, cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back. Give this restaurant a go.

A prime location, the restaurant has a rustic, low key, beach-shack feel about it, but with a touch of class. Service is really good, hosts are attentive & the meals & drinks were brought out quickly. We ordered soft shell crab & squid as entrees & whole mud crab MP & banana leaf barramundi for mains. The food was amazing, along with the cocktails. The prices are very steep, but you can expect to pay alot for fresh, high quality seafood. Overall a beautiful night out for dinner while on holidays.

Family of 6 and all of absolutely loved it. All over the meal was wonderful, However the baked fish was out of this world and we are all hoping for more and more. Will be returning again here soon.

The Malaysian/Singaporean fusion seafood here is amazing, the deep fried fish is absolutely to die for! Butter prawns were good, and the seafood platter in general is excellent. The quality of the seafood is so fresh, a great spot for sure.

Yelp
Found this place highly rated on Trip Advisor (which honestly, doesn't really offer that great of places - I almost always turn to Yelp instead) and decided to give it a try! It was very good and the owner/chef even came out to talk to us a bit about the food and his inspiration for it. The corn cakes appetizer was amazing! I highly recommend. For our main, I got the banana leaf barramundi and my fiance got the tiger prawns. Both of which were very flavorful. I maybe would have wanted some more coconut flavor out of the rice and maybe a little more uniqueness out of the side salad. Something to really bring the dish together more. Another appetizer we got were the spring rolls, which could use some more flavor/crunch to them. Other than that though, you could really taste the flavors in the meat/fish that he was trying to bring forward. This place was just what we were looking for. Somewhat of an Australian Fusion restaurant and I highly recommend it!

Yelp
Ambience 5 stars Service. 5 stars Food. 5 stars We dined here two nights in a row. Fortunately one of the few good restaurants open this time if year (the low season) but the bomb in Palm Cove. Try the whole fried fish with Vietnamese sauce. And for starters the salt and pepper Squid delicious.

Yelp
This place was/is ranked number one restaurant in Palm Cove when we were here. It deserves it. The food is simply outstanding. We started our meal with an order of the mussels. They were yummy and the largest mussels I have ever seen. The portion was quite small though. They were served more like oysters on the half shell rather than the large pots of them we are used to in the States. For our meal my husband had the Banana leaf barramundi with sweet chili & galangal dipping sauces. This was really good with sweet tender fish that melted in your mouth. I had the Black pepper prawns char grilled with black pepper sauce, salad and jasmine rice. I can not tell you how good this was. I would go back time and time again for this dish!

Yelp
Great Asian-Seafood, however extremely expensive for very small portions. The kids food menu is very limited and extremely expensive. Kids Fish and chips for $16 is a rip off.

Yelp
The atmosphere, food, and staff was amazing. The owner himself came over to chat. My husband had the Bali barramundi and I had the Bali prawns. Both were delicious! For dessert, we had the lime creme brûlée. I love to bake and critique desserts extra hard.. this one exceeded all expectations and more! We dug in immediately and I didn't get a photo until it was mostly gone! This place is a must if you are in town.

Yelp
First time reviewer. In town with extended family and wanted to go somewhere nice to say thanks. Read reviews and was really excited to explore the menu. Extremely disappointed with the experience. Staff were pleasent but service was slow. After waiting for waitress to take our drinks order for a good 45 minutes we ended up going to the bar ourselves and placing an order. The menu looked great. Once again let down when meals arrived. Crispy fish was soft and mushy, papaya salad was bulked up with rice and salad mix (wtf!). Most disappointed by the mud crab which we paid $100 as a real treat only to find that it was virtually empty with very little meat inside. Expressed concerns to staff who apologised but obviously cared very little. Gutted by the experience $500 later and very disappointed. On a positive note flavours were definitely there but less than authentic. After reading rave reviews I felt obliged to share our experience. Perhaps this was a one off? Unfortunately won't be a second time for us hopefully you guys can let us know.

Yelp
We shared the seafood platter, having been assured that it would be enough for two, and at the end left very hungry! The mud crab was so tasty, however, as was the banana leaf barramundi, that we didn't really mind. I have no idea what was in the sauce for the crab, perhaps lemongrass and chilli and other Asian spices, but it was just lovely! The service was great but I did wish we had a wee bit more food for the amount of money we paid.

Yelp
Nice location overlooking the beach. Good service. Menu was different to the usual affair, priced medium-high. Food was OK nothing special from my point of view but my partner really enjoyed it. Definitely worth a try for something a bit different.
