Best choice for ppl that are on strict diets. Cannot (even for the life of me) find a better açaí bowl better than this cafe. It offers better flexibility for substitution and the pricing is perfect for the size of bowls. I did cherry bowl with cherries topping plus added dark chocolate bits (couldn’t pass up) and DEF did not regret it. Delicious!. The staff are 100% helpful and kind upon letting them know what I’m allergic to.

Fresh and so many great choices. My go to place now for the South Bay. Better than Nektar. Pro-tip: get a large and share with someone. So good!

I was in the mood for a delicious Acai Bowl, so I made my way to Torrance to try this place since it was near by. I was kind of skeptical about it at first based off the ratings but I decided to check it out for myself. Upon entering, the smell sweet smell smacks you all in the face LOL. The menu is quite large and it was alot to take in but I was super excited and ready. I decided to get the small Tropical Acai Bowl with my 1 topping being blueberries. My bowl had granola, bananas, blueberries, strawberries and pineapples and mangos(blended into acai) They have different sizes to choose from and the sizes were just right. Just to let you know they also serve smoothies, though the menu is small the smoothie combinations sound very good. Now, my bowl was AMAZING.. SUPER GOOD!! this hidden gem did surprise me..I was impressed.. best Acai Bowl I've had in a while. Okkkk guys, here's the reason for my 4 stars (if your wondering). There were literally 7 team members on the line, orders were mixed up, the wait was slower than molasses and it was crowded inside. My order took about 15-20mins just about to get to me( that's how slow it was) and many customers were checking on their orders as well. By it being that many team members on the line, service could have been a little faster. Secondly *sighs* it's was a little dirty inside, more so the floors. The inside was very outdated (decor wise) and they also have concrete flooring so it was super dirty along with trash that was already present. Besides that I would have given this place 5 stars based off how awesome my bowl was. The question of day, would I return?.. I'm not sure. Yes my bowl was very very good but the flooring and trash was a huge eye sore and the wait time was a little long, so I would keep my eyes open for other Acai Bowl shops for the time being and MAYBE in the future I'll check them out again. If your looking for a good Acai Bowl and your in Torrance and want to check them out for yourself, by all means swing by. They do have great variations of bowls to choose from if you want to enjoy something delicious.

The server was very friendly and helpful. The menu is overwhelming but he walks you through it. The Acai bowl was delicious. Hit the spot. The granola was really crispy and tasty. Not overly sweet but a perfect balance. I definitely would return.

i ordered the regular acai bowls and it was pretty pricey but well worth it. this is not one of those acai spots that give you 4 strawberries and 3 blueberries. they give you a lot of everything. the only complaints i have is they took a minute to prepare the stuff , but the place was packed and everything is fresh. i would come back for an acai bowl and maybe to try another flavor!

Acai bowls are always good, good flavor and not too sweet. They come with 1 free extra topping. Would recommend ordering online or by phone maybe 10 minutes early, because there's a wait sometimes. They're also kind of expensive imo, $12+ I think for a regular size. Cashier customer service is subpar at best. It's not hard to say please and thank you.

we atleast order once a week because the acai itself tastes great. When i ordered a small tropical mango i barely got any mango. compared to other trips, they didnt fill up the bowl to its maximum capacity. the way they make the acai bowls are inconsistent. also the staffs have a bad attitude towards their customers.

Atmosphere - Clean, lots of indoor seating and parking. Customer service - Friendly, helpful staff. Taste - Ordered guarana mix. Great tasting, flavorful, generous portions. I tried one of their açaí bowls and it was super good! tons of Nutella and fresh strawberries, fresh Acai base.So many different bowls to choose from. Fast and friendly service. Clean store with seating available inside.

I love acai bowls & frequently go to the other Beach Bowl location in north Torrance. They take a while to make your bowl so I recommend calling ahead to place an order. It's usually ready in about 15 min after calling. I always get the guarana blend with lychee & strawberries. You can also sub the banana for another topping for free! However, my entire bowl today was extremely watery. It was almost liquid & soup-like. This has never happened at the other location. I don't know what happened but I am disappointed considering these bowls are kinda pricey!

I've never had a problem with their bowls. They are always made to order and extremely delicious!

I'm big on attention to detail. I'm allergic to bananas. I asked to replace the bananas with strawberries and blueberries. I should have double-checked. I can't eat this bowl.

A great spot for your açaí cravings! No frills or gimmicks, just good açaí bowls and smoothies. They're decently priced compared to other places and they have very generous servings. The workers are nice and patient with you, especially if it's your first time there. They get a lot of app, phone in, and in person orders, so just be prepared to wait a little because they're very popular. My favorite is the chocolate peanut butter blend topped with kiwi!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! & my little guy loves it too! My favorite is Blueberry Muffin with blueberries of course. Great flavor and so mouth watering !

Decent acai bowls with tons of parking. Stopped by on a Saturday morning and was surprised to find the place empty. Ordered 2 of the mini gaurana bowls, with strawberry as the additional topping. Portion was pretty large for the price (bowls are always expensive). The acai base was good as was the granola, but the fruit was super over-ripe. The banana had more brown than yellow and the strawberries were either previously frozen or super past their prime. Would love to come back if they have fresher produce!

Great açaí! They have the best granola ever. They add granola at the bottom and top, so you never run out. The basic blend is delicious

After having a chocolate power açaí from here, you won't be able to go back to a normal açaí bowl. When living in Torrance I came here every other week. I moved and I crave it every day now. So any time I make a trip up to the LA area, I make sure to schedule a stop here. I usually place the order for pick up so I've never had a problem with service. Once I forgot to add my free topping, and they called to ask what I wanted to add, so that was really nice of them.

The bowl is a great value for the price. I got the traditional blend and unfortunately it didn't have much taste. The blend was very bland. There also wasn't enough honey. The toppings were fresh and plentiful but I've had better bowls. I would pass on this blend.

Always good and tasty! I recommend calling in your order so you don't have to wait. After Covid you would have to stand outside today I noticed customers waiting inside. They also brought the chairs back out... I'm a tad bit impatient so calling works better for me lol got the topical blend with strawberries, blueberries and black berries. My daughter papaya bowl with strawberries & blueberries as her toppings.

This place has great smoothies and bowls, and a good selection. They do take some time to prepare because they are busy so I recommend you order ahead!

I've been a loyal customer of Beach bowls since 2013, maybe even 2012. That's been 3 presidencies and over 10 years. I remember when small basic bowls cost $6.25 instead of $10.25, and it cost extra to substitute banana on top (miss those prices!!) Little to say, I am very familiar with this place. Acai is great. That hasn't really changed. Service though, horrendous. The owners used to work the shop and they were always great. These young girls they hire though, who are literally my age (20), can't seem to be attentive or aware. It's quite a shame. I waited 40 minutes after calling in my order (meaning they had 15 min to prep it). Why? Because after I paid and they said my order would be ready in a few minutes, the staff didn't communicate to each other that my order was ready, so someone went and put it in their fridge and it sat there while I patiently waited. Communicate with each other! It's not hard! I see other reviews on how terrible the service is and it goes to show how it's not just me.

I like this place. So yummy! I usually get a large size of açaí. It is so yum. It can be my a meal or desert. Either way so good!

Amazing place. I've been a customer here since i was in fifth or sixth grade, and I just graduated college now. I could eat their stuff every day if I could but I live far away now. I introduced this place to my whole family and they come every Sunday. I've travelled and had lots of acai bowls, and even in Hawaii no one comes close to Beach Bowls Acai. The big portions are the best. You guys rock

Beach bowls is pretty good first few time i went there love it i the mini tropical bowl is my favorite but lately with ther service has not been good i ask for pineapple they gave nothing but the core of the pineapple like i was chewing rocks then the second time i ask for extra Granola at the bottom they gave me extra extra granola barely any of the acai tropical mix i can see if they were busy busy and rush the bowl i can see but there was barely any there not good at all for anybody spending there money and supporting a business that is actually good

Rude service, said excuse me 4x after waiting awhile and the 2-3 staffs continued their conversation. Cashier ripped receipts and and walked away with an attitude. Please train your staff to be courteous. The young Asian cashier projecting her personal issues at work looks very bad for your business.

Tried this place for the first time as it is conveniently located a block away from Wilson Park. A positive from my first time visit- the guarana bowls are delicious! Negative and there are a few! Customer service was terrible. With so many people working, there was not one who stood out to be helpful. The cashier took our order and we were basically forgotten. We waited patiently as other pick-up orders were to tended to. There is nowhere to sit as you wait for your order neither indoors or outside. My nephew and I patiently waited until I could no longer wait and once I followed up, they realized that they lost track of us. In a feeble attempt to appease us, the gal increased the size of my bowl. Anyway, the poor customer service stands out more than our bowls. We will not return to Beach Bowls Acai Cafe.

These bowls are gigantic and delicious. My sister and I placed an order online and then picked it up. I will definitely be going back when I'm in Torrance.

Although I have never had a bad Bowl here, I do not recommend this place because there are so many better places around. It is dirty and slow. And since Covid they have not opened up seating again. It's just very uninviting I would recommend Acai Republic on PCH.

The açaí here is really good. I give them that. The texture is thick and not watery like many places. There are a good amount of choice toppings, and it's average for cost. My husband and I always split the big one because it's a better deal than two small ones. That's all the positive I can say about this Acai place. The service is horrendous, and I am very patient and understand since I've been a server before. However, the service made it so much harder to come back until now it's on the ban list. You can never get a phone order in because they don't pick up the phone. I get it if they're busy, but they're just standing around talking! One time I was sitting in there eating and I heard the phone go off while the girls talk about their weekend plans. Another time, I came to order for dine in. The owner said, "if you order for dine in we close in 45 minutes." I was a bit offended because I wasn't 10 mins before closing. It doesn't take me 45 mins to eat Acai. I understood the girls since they're just employees, but after the owner's service, it wasn't worth it and haven't come back. The place is loud because of the blenders. They don't clean the tables often so be prepared to clean before you sit. It gets a bit sticky. I wouldn't recommend you come here. There are other açaí places in South Bay that's better! I like the one on Inglewood & Manhattan beach Blvd.

Just bought another bowl for the first time since October. Blend taste like I dunno....watery and soup like. This was a total waste of money and the drive here. I don't know what happened to this place .

Very sad. Used to be my favorite Acai bowl place. I remember I was prob the first or at least top 10 customers of this place right when it opened. I remember the owners telling me that it costs so much for each bowl because they used a lot Acai and high quality granola. Visited yesterday and the quality has def changed from the beginning. The Acai is pretty diluted now. Extremely icy. Flavor isn't there anymore. But I get it. Due to inflation etc. Toppings they were generous with but acai itself was very bad. Natureba is prob the best I've had now.

The bowls here are over priced. And the toppings are over priced. You have to pay 1.90 for extra toppings when the bowl only comes with 2 toppings to begin with.

We go to the Torrance location often. This is one of several times where the order was either wrong or incomplete. Today I ordered 3 granola on the side along with the 4 bowls. No granola in the order. When I called I was told they'd write my name down for the next visit. Customer service is lacking. The bowls are great.

Still my favorite near by Acai Cafe. This is place is always busy, as in prepare to wait around 15-20minutes. The reason being, they make all the açaí bowls fresh to order instead of pulling a lever on a machine with pre mades. My favorite is the ginger by far, it's less sweet and has a refreshing spicy note at the top. To make the bowl last, we usually order the large and share to go, but once we come home, we end up adding more toppings we have at home ie: nuts, peanut butter, additional fruit. Love this plaza as it is nearby the Lees and JJ bakery if you wanna pick up some bread along with this treat.

I did an online order and they did not fill it. I paid at the store and the customer behind me ordered at the window. After a long wait, his order was filled and I did not see mine being prepped. I asked and was straight up LIED too, i was told that his order was done online. So they looked for my order, grabbed a bowl and put it at the end of the line of bowls waiting to be finished. I asked, so I'm now at the end of line? The same girl that lied says with attitude, "uh.. yeah!.. (like duh!) .. i said what? She goes with more attitude " so would you like to cancel your order?" So I said yes and asked for a refund, we'll see if I will get it. As she is whispering to the cashier, i'm fuming.. so yeah, I'm even more mad now. I will NEVER come back and will definitely tell my friends of this experience. I've been a customer for years, but no more. It was the out right lying and her attitude to me that was the last straw. AND NO HASAN, whatever they told you is lying. I watched the person behind me place his order as he was looking at the menu. I WILL NOT BE BACK

Not much taste in the Acai and the toppings don't make up for it. They charge close to $2 for each topping and only allow one topping aside from the banana and honey it comes with. Disappointed to say it's a mediocre bowl :(

I really enjoy this place however, the last couple of times I ordered a large with 'all banana', it seems like they just don't add the 'extra' toppings that the bowls come with. Each bowl states it comes with banana, then extra toppings according to the size ordered. I asked for a large with all banana (since you normally get additional toppings)... the image attached is the 'extra'. I would have been better off asking for a different topping to get the money's worth. The other two bowls I ordered had more fruit and were smalls. The bowls are very tasty - I always order the same one so i am not sure about the other items offered. I will still continue ordering from this location, it would just be nice to get what you pay for.

Yelp is a place for food reviews and shouldn't be based on customer service, so that's why I wanted to at least give it three stars, because the bowls are good!! However the customer service is terrible. Not sure of the girls name, but she has lash extensions, a nose ring and wears her hair in a claw clip. She had the nastiest attitude and was on her phone the whole time. It's unfortunate, because I do come here often but the service is always a hit or miss. Good food, but be prepared to not have good service.

I've been to Beach Bowls several times over the years, but I will admit there was a large hiatus for a while. However, I have ordered acai from here 2 times in the past few months and I must say that it has been growing on me. There are a few positives that Beach Bowls is able to offer over the competition. They have a large selection of bowls & smoothies to choose from. In addition, they have a lot more choices for toppings versus some other places. The menu is very straightforward. All bowls come with banana (topping), granola, and honey. For mini and small bowls - you get 1 topping. For large bowls - you get 2 toppings. You always have the option of adding on additional toppings for an additional $1.30 per topping. // ACAI // Tropical: Acai, pineapple, and mango. A delicious, tropical vibe from this acai bowl. Topped with you choice of fruits, nuts, almond butter, chocolate and so on. I've tried it topped with strawberries and lychee. Overall, I really like Beach Bowls now. I highly recommend checking them out at either South Bay location in Torrance and Redondo Beach. My friend says the apple cinnamon is amazing so I might have to try that one out next time. Also, they offer delivery through DoorDash for those lazy days or just not wanting to go out during these Covid times.

I ordered 4 basic bowls with strawberries and bananas as I do every single Saturday. The last few months the Acai portion has gotten smaller and smaller and the bowls have been very inconsistent as you can see in my picture. I finally decided it was time to say something and when I did, the employee with red faded hair rolled her eyes at me. She got her shift lead who said "I'm sorry we are really busy. You probably have been waiting a long time and don't want to wait longer," and then she handed me my bowls. I had waited 45 minutes in person and had called over 20+ times but found out when I got there that the phones weren't even connected. As a regular customer, I expect better and don't know how much longer I can support a business who is rude, and beyond inconsistent. Another thing to note: there is no particular order they make their bowls in. There were several people who I heard place orders in person after me get their bowls before me. I get online orders come in as well, but at least go in order of the time they were ordered, in person or online.

Disappointing. Bowl was very runny. Service is pretty bad. Wish it was better. I will give them another go later.

Horrible customer service. Difficult and sometimes impossible to get parking. The açaí bowls are good, but the people that work there are rude and unprofessional. There are plenty of places you can find a $10+ açaí bowl without attitude- I recommend going to one of their other locations or another business.

It pains me to have to write this review, but due to the lackluster bowl I just picked up, it has to be done. As expensive as these bowls are, I expect better. I ordered my usual, chocolate peanut butter açaí bowl. The açaí mixture has no chocolate nor peanut butter taste WHATSOEVER. This place used to be very consistent, but now, it's a hit or miss. Some days they make it right, others they do not. I used to be a loyal customer but I can't afford to continue wasting my money hoping my bowl is made right. For now, I will have to find another açaí place to support.

Overpriced and over 30 minute wait. 5 minutes to wait to order and another 30 or more for them to start the order. 3 employees called off. I get that but why skip people people. We were told at least 20 minutes. That's BS.

Whenever I go to an acai bowl place, it's a hit or miss. Mostly because the bowls are too big for me to finish or that it's too sweet. But when I walked into Beach Bowls, I was happy to see a large menu with a mini bowl option. So I went with a mini bowl which has a base of acai, banana, honey and granola but I added vanilla power ( has 18g protein) and mangos. Upon receiving the bowl, I devoured it and it was delicious. It was fruity and fresh. I wish they had coconut shavings but that's about it. I don't have a photo mainly because I was hungry and it was hot and I really wanted to eat the thing. So if you want an acai bowl, go here.

I gave the Redondo Beach location a 5 Star rating because their customer services is awesome. I can't say the same for this location. There's been a couple of times where I've placed a phone order and the worker sounded as if she was bothered by my call. I know that they get really busy, I get it , but that shouldn't be a means for coming off as if you hate your job, when it's the consumer that helps keep Beach Bowls in business. Also, if you know off hand you're busy don't tell the person placing a phone order that their order will be ready in 20 minutes only to have them wait an added 15-20 minutes--some of us utilize our lunch hour from work to pick up a bite to eat. I appreciate full transparency and would prefer them to say "we are busy at the moment, your order may take an additional 15-30 minutes than the norm to be ready for pick up".

No Blueberries... The same thing happened before. But I love this Vanilla Power in here.

My family loves a good Acai bowl. This one checks off all boxes for reasonably priced, great blend options, huge selection of toppings, and the service was super quick. Great having tables to both wait and eat at. Definitely a favorite!

Craving something healthy and delicious for Breakfast, I stopped by Beach Bowls Açaí Cafe this Weekend. I had been to this location before several times but it had been awhile since my last visit this past Summer. Inside there was a good amount of Customers already there waiting for their orders but the line for ordering was small. They have their Menu up on the wall so it is big and easy to read. I decided to order my Traditional Blend small sized Bowl which comes with granola, honey and your choice of fresh fruit which I picked Strawberries and Bananas. For the small sized bowl you get a generous portion however if you want they have a Mini size and Large size. My daughter decided to order the Tropical Blend small sized Bowl with Mangoes and Strawberries. After a short wait my order was ready and they were nice enough to put our items in a bag since I was taking it home to enjoy. The Açaí Bowls were so fresh and they filled us both up! This place is a local favorite and I can see why! See you next time!
