Beach Buzz is a newer restaurant that is a nice upgrade from the previous restaurant in this building. The prices are reasonable with a very large menu (compared to the size of the kitchen they have), so sometimes the wait for food is a little longer (normally ~15 minutes for entree), even if there are less than 10 tables seated. If you (or anyone ahead of you) has ordered the 24" pizza, there will be a long wait, since there is only one oven in the back to cook the pizzas in.
I have not been disappointed with any of the food we have ordered here, from the chicken wings to the pizza. They have a lot of unique pizzas; several that I have tried have been a good change to "normal" pizzas (like their Surfer with Pineapple and Mandarin Oranges). Several of the appetizers are good as well. I recommend the Wisconsin Cheese Curds, Wings, or Fried Ravioli.
The interior is nice, with three separate areas -- restaurant seating, bar seating (booth and bar top), and an outside patio which is nice when the weather is good. It is not overly loud inside, but I have also not seen the restaurant very crowded -- I have always been able to find a seat where I wanted without a wait, but many days when I drive by, the parking lot is quite full.
They started with a very minimal liquor offering, but over the past few months have increased it into a full offering.
Beach Buzz has live music on the patio every Friday and Saturday (according to their website, but I have only been there one time for the music).
The staff has been friendly every time that I have eaten here and the management/owner are all friendly as well.
Though it is a few miles away from the beach, it is worth stopping in for a bite to eat for lunch or dinner on the way to or from the beach.
