Beach Club Victorian

We love the Jersey shore, but how have we never been to LBI all of these years! We absolutely love the town of Beach Haven and the island of LBI. Our neighbors have been coming to LBI and the Victoria Guest House for years, so we decided to expand our shore vacations to this area. What a fabulous B and B. Clean. Charming. Love the pool and ambience of the many porches and gardens. The location is perfect. Within walking distance to the beach (and they supply chairs), museum, restaurants, a theater, ice cream with a show (!), and shops. The inn is in a historic district, so many of the neighboring buildings are examples of incredible architecture and preservation. Bikes are provided. Excellent breakfasts on the porch. And who doesn't like an outdoor shower at the beach (enclosed and private). We will be coming back in the fall, and have decided we like LBI just a little better than our previous Jersey shore destination. Shhhh. Don't tell! AND...Judy and John are great hosts!

John and Judy Miller are the perfect hosts at this stunning Bed and Breakfast. All the rooms and common areas are immaculate. They have wonderful outside showers and are only a block from the beach. Judy's breakfasts are wonderful and there are so many restaurants you can walk to for dinner. We definitely consider this a home away from home!❤️

This formerly fabulous Victorian was sold. Now there is NO breakfast. No pool. They did not buy it. No people around - all done via text. No service - we asked for more coffee and toilet paper and hand towels. They showed up unwrapped on the floor outside the door. Bug in shower. Glass in carpet. Old lovely furniture gone. Furniture unwelcome- plastic plants. Porch furniture filthy- we cleaned tables with Windex. No flowers- torn flag. Never saw the owners. Saw one other couple who had stayed here before and would never come back. Really sad...

Wonderful place. Great rooms, great food, bikes and beach chairs available. Has a 5ft to 3 ft deep pool in the back, great deck space on which to eat, chat, or just relax. A half block from the beach, beach passes are also furnished. John and Judy are great hosts. The rooms are clean, bright, cool and comfy. The bed was great, slept good every night. An overall charming place and a wonderful experience.

We have been returning to the Victoria Gust House for years. The houses are in a quiet, ocean side area of Beach Haven within a few minutes drive to the bay area shopping. The Miller's are friendly and helpful, and the accommodations are very clean and comfortable including the porches and heated pool. We always look forward to coffee and breakfast they serve in the dining room or on one of the porches followed by a trip to the Amber Street Beach a short walk down the street. All in all, this is always a great place to enjoy a pleasant escape.

My husband and I stayed for a short two nights in the ocean cottage room. We absolutely loved it. The room was adorable and right next to the pool area. The bathroom was on the smaller side but that was ok. John and Judy were exceptional, always asking if we needed anything or how our day was. The breakfast was incredible and so relaxing to sit on the porch each morning to eat. The little touches made our stay and we can’t wait to come back!

This was our second time staying at Victoria Guest House and it has become our favorite place down the shore. The rooms and accommodations are great, but what makes this place our favorite is the conveniences offered by John and Judy. Beach badges, great high quality beach chairs, bikes to take at your leisure, a pool to cool down at after a long day at the beach, and an amazing breakfast every morning. The BnB is about a 2 minute walk from a great part of the beach and there are a lot of great restaurants/bars within a mile from the house. John and Judy are great hosts, enjoyable company, and are always available for anything you need. Thank you both for the hospitality and we hope to be back soon!

Wow...this was a great experience. This historic building overlooking the park and steps from the beach can't be beat. While I was disappointed to learn they no longer serve breakfast they made up for it with great communication, easy check in and a very updated room! Highly recommend!

my wife and I have been going to the Victorian for years. unfortunately the old innkeepers retired last year. the format is now a host less empty house that has lost all of its charm. Although the omnipresent "you are under video surveillance" signs gives a warm and fuzzy feeling. the neighboring property is no longer used as an inn and the pool is no longer available breakfast is no longer served. We won't be returning.

We used to love this place- see past reviews. It was sold and now it is not only not a B and B but it is truly not a place to stay. There is no breakfast. There is no one there ever. The old gorgeous furniture is gone. Replaced by stuff you can't sit in or want to. Plastic plants. A bug in shower. Glass on carpet. Room never cleaned. We had to text for hand towels. Coffee and toilet paper which were left on the floor outside our room. No flowers. Lawn sad. Flag flying with a huge hole. Sad. Really sad. Also the new owners did not buy the pool so we sat on the porch but it was so dirty we had to cleaning the tables with windex and paper towels.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at this B&B for 3 nights during Memorial Day weekend. John & Judy were charming, informative, & great hosts. We stayed in Room 2 - the largest room with a private porch & bathroom. Room was spacious enough for us & the towels in the room were nice & large. Wonderful buffet breakfast was enjoyed by us each day with a lot of great choices. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the main porch watching everything go by. Loved that the inn provided so many conveniences - beach chairs, towels, beach bag, bicycles, & bottled water! The location is excellent - you can walk easily to the beach or to restaurants, bars, or many ice cream places! Excellent place to stay when vacationing on LBI!!

The perfect beach retreat - 1 block from the best beach, 2-5 blocks from all the great restaurants, a pool, bikes, outdoor showers, nice quaint inn rooms - porches, patio tables - free street parking - across from the town park - the hosts are better than any of your relatives - yummy breakfast - you wont find a better deal at the Jersey Shore.

We had such a lovely stay. John and Judy are amazing and charming. The property is very well kept and cute! We wish we had more time to enjoy all they had to offer (bikes, pool, beach chairs and tags). The breakfast was incredible, fresh and delicious!

This place is a little gem in LBI. The property is beautiful and well kept. The place could be full yet you can find a perfect spot to enjoy by yourself. The breakfast is mornings is fresh and delicious. John and Judy are the owners and great hosts. We have been there many times over the year and can't say anything bad about it. Simply amazing !!!

This was the second visit my boyfriend and I have had at the Victoria Guest House and we LOVE it here. Both visits we have stayed in the cottage bay room. We love the privacy and being able to just walk out our door to the outdoors. The breakfast is always amazing and so filling. Our favorite has been the quiches and the fruit cobbler. I honestly cannot get enough of the cobbler. John and Judy are great hosts and are very warm. Our favorite part is having the bicycles! Our preferred method of transportation around Beach Haven is by bicycle! We can get to all of our favorite spots on the bikes and it's so nice. We absolutely plan on coming back next summer, too!!

We had such a great stay with John and Judy. Our room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable!! We enjoyed sitting on the porch with a glass of wine while chatting with other guests. The Inn is the perfect location, steps away from the beach and restaurants and shops.

Gorgeous and perfectly located by the beach. It is less than a half a block away from a beautiful, white beach with a really cool tiki bar and a scenic view. This cozy and elegant house has a wrap around porch, bikes, a heated pool and a wide variety of room choices including a private bungalow. The hostess and her husband are very friendly and humorous and are very welcoming. She creates beautiful, moist and creative desserts and treats every day that are available all day in addition to the breakfast layout that is served every morning. We stayed when it rained but because of the beautiful layout and comfortable ambiance, hearing the rain pour atop of the luscious vegetation mixed with the crashing waves of the sea was one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had. It was truly relaxing. There are quaint little antique shops and restaurants offering delicious meals for moderate prices available less than a mile away. This place is a must for your next visit!

This is the perfect spot. Includes all day bike access, unlimited water bottles, coffee, and tea, games and DVDS, a heated pool, large wrap around porch, beach badges, beach chairs, beach towels, on the beach block, and 2 blocks from the bay. Minutes walking distance from countless restaurants, activities, and shopping. Clean rooms, with the most comfortable beds ever. Worth staying for the breakfast alone! Includes one hot entree, fruit, cereal, bagels, yogurt, etc. the owners, Judy and John, are ever so welcoming and accommodating. I'm already looking to book another stay!!!

Great breakfast! John and Judy are very welcoming and provide basically everything you need for the beach. Nice pool, housekeepers do a great job keeping the rooms clean and really has a "home away from home" feel that local hotels can't provide. Also located on one of the nicest streets in all of Beach Haven, a bike ride away from good food and entertainment. Couldn't ask for more from a BnB. Highly recommend!

Nice super clean room and facilities. Free bikes water pool beach badges and breakfast. Great hospitality. Great location in beach haven. 1.5 blocks from beach and bay. Close to many bars and restaurants. Attracts older crowd and more expensive than most places but worth it

I've stayed at the Victoria Guest House a number of times, and it's always pleasant. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. The hosts John and Judy are great. Look forward to returning soon.

Really nice stay here. The beds were super comfortable. The pool was lovely we almost always had it to ourselves. A short walk to the beach and the location is perfect for walking to many great restaurants and shops. They provide you with beach passes, chairs, bikes, towels, cold water, everything you need. The breakfast I can't comment too much on since we always slept passed it but I will say I had a bite of French toast on the last day and it was delectable! Super relaxing stay, we will definitely be back!

Very lovely stay! Clean, comfy and quiet. Great location to dining, beach, and shopping. Host were sweet and amenities were great. Would definitely go back for another quick getaway!!!

I loved this place. I was here over Memorial Day weekend with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time. I was a bit hesitant to stay at a B&B because I am usually not one to enjoy interacting with other guests, but it was surprisingly fun and low-key. Breakfast was excellent and free beach chairs, towels and bicycles are provided. Pool was very nice. It is located right in Beach Haven so you can walk to shopping, mini golf and other activities. Wouldn't work for couples with young children, but otherwise great for anyone.

My husband and I really enjoyed our two nights here!! It was a brief getaway for my birthday. The property is beautiful and loved the fresh breakfast on the wrap around porch each morning! John and Judy were lovely hosts and not a detail was left out!! We will definitely return!!
