Beach Hotel Dos Mares

Amazing hotel with great design, vibe and friendly staff. I have been going there for more than 20 years, however sad to see how much the prices have sky rocketed. Kite school use to be super chill and now they have the pretentiousness to charge 190€ for ONE hour of private class. This used to be 60€ max.

This hotel is a gem. Direct beach access, beautiful. Nice and clean bungalows with good A/C and comfortable beds.

Went here for a coffee and tea with some friends. The view is beautiful and open all year round. During the winter, the fireplace keeps the dining area/bar warm and cozy.

We came here for the windsurfing school. It was my first time ever and I was treated so so so well. The teacher was so incredibly patient with me and gave me the confidence to just try and try and try again and be a little reckless in the water while trying, cause he was there with me to support me. I would totally recommend this school to anyone who has or hasnt windsurfed, even to those that might be a little scared of water, cause you will feel confident with these teachers. Thank you! 🙏🏻

We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights and liked it very much. The location is great, not far from Tarifa or Valdevaqueros beach, where we went daily to wing foil. The room was comfortable though the decor could definitely be improved. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty. The restaurant is nice and a great alternative for dinner if you don't feel like driving to town. The hotel has a pool and other amenities that seemed good, though we were uninterested.

I have to agree with other reviews I read that the front desk staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. I had called to inquire if they had a room available and was told they had one. I said I would be there in ten minutes and asked them to hold the room. I arrived in less than 10 minutes. When I arrived the 2 young women at the desk said they had not spoken to me and I must have spoken to someone who had left because they had just changed shifts. They had no note from the previous staff of my name and request to hold the room. It was very awkward! Luckily they still had a room! When I approached them other times I felt like I was not very welcome! They need to train them on customer service because the front desk staff are the face of a hotel and need to make guests feel welcome! I am not the only person to have had an unpleasant interaction with the front desk which made me feel better that it wasn't just me!

We stay at this lovely bungalow every year on our way to visit family in Morocco, and we’re excited to return this summer for vacation! It’s very well situated—peaceful yet convenient for exploring Tarifa and enjoying its world-famous kitesurfing spots. The bungalow is always clean, cozy, and well-equipped, and the hosts are incredibly welcoming. It’s a special part of our journey, and we can’t recommend it enough!

super nice hotel, super good location, very nice staff, incredible massage, I recommend you after a good surfing, kite or wing session, a massage before leaving and returning home. It is done with great care and it feels great. So thank you for this beautiful hotel that was able to contribute to our wonderful vacation. See you next year!
