Wonderful well established hotel, so close to the beach yet has a fine pool next to the restaurant and bar

I am a solo female traveller, ended up here for one night on a busy long weekend. I was concerned about noise, as the hotel is perfectly located in the center of the action of Zicatela beach. The woman at the from desk, Bianca, was so great, she told me that people had left that day complaining of noise. She showed me two rooms at the back that she felt might be suitable, and she showed them both to me. Simple but super clean. I took the room with AC thinking if would provide some white noise.|I didnt have any issue with noise. Slept very well. Hotel is packed with extended Mexican families having a blast with their kids. The scene around the pool is so energetic and fun- lots of grandmas and little kids shooting water guns. I had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this place if you want a simple, safe place in the middle of the action, with a great little pool for cooling off. Thank you.

Had two front Road rooms - 3rd & 4th floors - nice views but ridiculous cars parked on road blaring very loud music with massive base that started at 1030pm and carried on and on! Soo bad. Restaurant nice. Pool nice. If you decide to stay ask for a back room away from the road 😣

This is a beautiful hotel, we stayed in room #402 which has an amazing outdoor area with a jacuzzi, hammocks, deck chairs and a view of the beach. The sunset from this space and even from the bed is amazing. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are very comfy. The staff is very kind and attentive and the restaurant has excellent food. It is great to lounge around the pool during the day with fresh pineapple juice. But, and this is a huge but, by no fault of the hotel there are discoes across the street that begin playing music(if you can call that bone rattling base, music...) at about 10 pm and they get louder and louder until 3-3:30 am. It is literally so loud the windows are rattling. It is completely impossible to sleep and by the time it would end we were so upset that it completely ruined our day. The disco is closed on Monday so there is one night that you can sleep... It turns out there are numerous discoes up and down the strip here in Zicatela and I doubt it would be any different in any hotel- some of them are still going at 7am when I went for walks on the beach. After 4 days of this hell we moved to a room in the back-#18 which was much quieter, except on Sat night when the entire hotel was awake from the noise. I feel so badly for the owners and staff of this business- they work so hard and make such a great effort and by no fault of theirs the business is ruined. We would never stay here again (unless the discoes are forced out or hours and volume are restricted) and I would not recommend anyone stay here unless you are happy to be up all night partying or whatever and get your sleep during the day. I should say I have been to Puerto Escondido many times in the distant past and it was a wonderful place.

I want to tell you how mari treated me with trying to make a honeymoon reservation. I sent about 2 emails 2 voice-mails and texts without a reply. Blanca awnered the phone and we spent a long time getting the rooms set up to followed by and email that never came. I really think this has to do with mari shoving all but her family out thinking inez would hand it over to her. That's extremely unlikely in my opinion.

Cute and colorful rooms, some with a fridge which is so beneficial for cold drinks on a hot day! Delicious restaurant items on site and can be served poolside. The staff is very helpful! Have stayed here before and again it didn’t disappoint.

You cannot beat this location. My husband and I came down for our (two years late) honeymoon. We spent our first week elsewhere, and had initially booked a different B&B for our last 10 days. The place we booked was disgusting and we left immediate, my husband had fond memories of staying here at Hotel Ines 10+ years ago, so we gave it a shot. It is just as nice if not better than he recalls - we have stayed in two rooms, both with the jacuzzi tub on the terrace. Since it is a special occasion, we are definitely splurging more than normal, but I must say room 402 is magical. There is the downside of the club down the street, but Hotel Ines is not at fault for this. It is crazy to read reviews blaming the hotel for the noise. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend requesting a room in the back of the hotel which does not have the same ocean view but would be less disruptive. The food at the restaurant is pure magic, and the service is great. We have eaten many places in Puerto Escondido but this is one of our favorites. Breakfast is phenomenal, some of the best chilaquiles verdes we have had, and now I must mention the filet mignon. My god. One of the best on the face of the planet, the gorgonzola crema and baked potato pair so well together. A nice bottle of red wine rounds it out. Highly recommend, and is a fraction of the cost of the US. Carlos was often our server in the mornings, kind, friendly, and helpful. In the evenings our female server has also been lovely! Such a great stay and experience, we will be back!

We love the hotel's restaurant. It's good any time of day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try it all. Good drinks, good service.

Yelp
I was told this is the most beautiful hotel by a friend....I've been to a lot of hotels and that's not how I would describe this place. It's a quaint, mostly open air hotel centrally located on Zicatela Beach. The staff is friendly and the rooms are super cheap in price!! I paid $80 USD / night for a rooftop room with a large outdoor patio! Couple of things: only stairs, no elevator. Beds are not very comfortable. Toilets struggle to work. Jacuzzi in my 4th floor suite did not work. The outdoor bed was an air mattress and occasionally bird poop would be on the sheets. The door keys are very large and you have to use a key on both sides of the door which is odd. The restaurant/bar is pretty good. Deep Blue diving is located in the hotel making it easy on the hotel patrons.

Yelp
This USED to be the place to stay. Amazing view, great food but don't expect to be able to sleep here anymore. There is a night club across the street now and the music goes till 3 am. How loud? Ear plugs do not eliminate the sound, we tried. Not even sure how they allow this with so many hotels on the strip.
