We had a perfect winter weekend stay at the Artist Residence - everything was flawless - great view, many great restaurants around, stress free parking, super comfy bedding. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back! Many thanks

Loved our time staying in the Artist's Residence! Apartment is very comfortable, and fully outfitted with everything you need. Location is terrific, with good walking opportunities right outside the door. Owner is very responsive to questions. Most impressive is the jaw-dropping view of Lake Michigan right outside the large windows. Can't wait to return!

Had a wonderful stay in the Artists Residence! Despite the strong winds and winter weather, the unit was warm and inviting. Parking was super easy and the location was perfect. Easy to get to Evanston as well as down to the city. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels. We ordered Giordano’s pizza (which was excellent) and cooked one even using the available pots and pans. Thanks for an excellent visit. We will sure to book again on our next visit and tell all of our friends.

We can't say enough great things about Margie and the Beach House. Clean, comfortable, and so responsive to anything you may need. Beautiful views, great neighborhood with lots of places to walk and exercise, wonderful grocery stores near and the kitchen in the unit has great appliances. It made our stay so wonderful and cozy. We were there for a month under some unfortunate circumstances, but all the amenities made it feel like home. Kudos to Margie for her excellent customer service, and thank you for the wonderful stay!

Fantastic vacation homes and luxurious. Excellent management and always there for you whenever and whatever you need. Very prompt response and generous. Crystal clean property and maintained extremely well. The property manager is outstanding. If you are in Chicago area, I recommend you must stay here. You will never forget it in your lifetime.

Beach House Chicago has been our home away from home for 3 months . You cannot beat the sunrises and the waves on the lake. The owners are lovely and very responsive if you need anything . Fully furnished including patio with furniture to enjoy the lake. Lots of parks close by and beach. It is pretty awesome .

My family loved staying at this place. Lovely apartment-clean, well stocked, furnished great. The location is wonderful with great views and neighborhood. Very responsive to all requests. Will definitely stay there again.

My thoughtful boyfriend was staying in Evanston while working on a several week project for work, and invited me and my 11 year old daughter to fly up and visit during her Spring Break. He wanted to make our trip special and found this beach front condo for visit. Definitely a perfect pick, Beach house themed condo makes perfect sense for our visit during “spring break“. No other property is like it on the street. I’ve been to Chicago, but not Evanston, and the property itself was not at all what I expected. It’s on the water, the building has been updated and it definitely has a beach house look from the outside. They owner did not forgo quality, all amenities needed for a comfortable stay are available. The decor, impeccable, professionally done. The custom painted walls, modern lighting, each room has its own style, very well done. From the linens to the pillows and towels, it’s quality. No skimping on the details that really matter when you’re away from home. Great open living area and beautifully custom painted island, large windows looking out onto the lake. Waves are so big you feel like you’re Oceanside, and it was a wonderful sound to wake up to. Outdoor door patio and grille. Large screen TVs in both bedrooms and living room, with full accommodation of streaming television. Our unit was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Great layout. Despite the stress of the time we were there, with the beginnings of city shutdowns in the US with Covid19, this little beachfront condo was a great getaway. Five Star Property, Five star experience! Highly recommend!

We booked through TripAdvisor.com They were very accommodating when weather prevented us from traveling. The place is comfortable, amenities were all there. Comfortable bed! I recommend this place.

BEWARE!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Friends of ours made a reservation several months in advance and paid a deposit with the remainder due 4 weeks prior to check in. 3 weeks after the final payment was made our friends get a TEXT that they overbooked and cancelled the reservation. How could they not know 5 months in advance and after receiving full payment that they double booked.? No apology or phone call to explain. I think that they realized that they could make more money off of last minute NU graduation week or Taylor Swift fans than honor their agreements. Terrible experience! We live a few blocks away and often need a place for friends and family to stay since we live in small condo nearby and hoped that this would be a good option for our frequent guests, but they've lost a ton of business.
