Had the most fabulous massage with Alicia! My resort's spa was fully booked so I scheduled a massage at Beach House Spa just a few miles away. Best decision! Alicia customized the treatment to my needs every step of the way. Her skills were phenomenal, better than any "luxury" spa massage I've ever had! She relieved muscle pain that other massage therapists have not been able to do. If you find yourself in the Isle of Palms area, skip the pricey resort spa and head over to Beach House Spa!

Great quality massage! Alicia was professional and very knowledgeable. She found all the tight spots and melted them away. The atmosphere of Beach House Spa is bungalow casual and very tranquil and inviting. Felt amazing afterwards, highly recommend!

Was in a lot of pain from sciatica and Alisha was a huge help in fixing my back. She recommended help for when I get back home and helped make my vacation pain-free.

Unfortunately it wasn’t the experience I had hoped for. I made my appointment online by choosing a therapist I thought would suit me best. (I don’t live in the area, but visit frequently). Then I received a text from the owner saying he was out of town at the time of my appointment and to be sure I payed with cash. (Strange) Upon my arrival, the therapist I chose said she put me with someone else, who wasn’t even there yet. This therapist’s style of bodywork was NOT what I wanted. It was not enjoyable and she did not do what I asked. I couldn’t wait to get off the table. I emailed the owner telling him of my disappointing experience and received not one word back. I wasn’t looking for a freebie, just acknowledgment. This is the first negative comment I have ever left as I don’t usually have this poor of an experience. I was hoping to just address with owner, which I did, and over a month later, crickets. Since the owner thought it best to ignore my concerns of my experience, here we are.

Took my girlfriend for her first professional massage. Beth was wonderful and both her and the gentleman at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. Modestly priced and worth every penny. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been to Beach House Spa twice and have loved it both times! The first time I went was June 2023 and it was my first massage ever. I was a bit nervous but Alicia was so patient with me and explained what would happen/what I needed to do in good detail. She periodically asked if I was comfortable and always explained what she was going to do before she did it when it came to having me move around on the table. I had Alicia again the second time I went (December 2023) and this time I was getting over a cold. I told her this and she brought in tissues and some water for me. Whenever it was time for me to flip over she would pause and ask if I needed to blow my nose or anything. All the employees are so kind and thoughtful. The prices aren’t too bad either! Absolutely love it here and will continue to give them my business!

Of all the massages I have had - and I try to have as many as I can! - Beth has been the best. Her approach is unique (she starts with your feet!), her hands are magical and her apple lotion/oil is hydrating and lovely. Book today with Beth at Beach House Spa and thank me later!

Bill's team do a nice job. Great massage therapy at a reasonable price. Patrick's lymphatic massage has a deep tissue element. Elisha's Swedish massage is very good. Brown is also very good.

Alecia is the best. 90-minute deep tissue. So worth it. Beach house spa always does a nice job. Bills been doing this for some time. Always professional. Always friendly. Thanks for taking care of me even short notice sometimes. See you soon(er) I hope.

I treated my brother, sister-in-law and my self to a special day, which included massages for them, and a lymphatic Drain for me with Patrick. WOW, WOW. I did not know how much I needed that. I hobbled in, and floated out!! The whole experience was incredible for all three of us. Afterwards we went to the beach, just 2 blocks away. Amazing get a way!! In a quaint adorable building the owner runs the place like a finely tuned machine... DEFINATELY RECOMMEND!!

My wife has visited this place three times, and in three times each time was successfully worse. The final straw was this weekend. My wife had a 90 minute massage, she was made to feel so uncomfortable, Beth the massage therapist who was doing the service was seemingly so bad at her job that she did not listen to my wife. She was using her own inner thigh to rest my wife's appendages on. She made my wife lie on a wet towel the whole time. My wife said no hot stones yet she proceeded to put hot stones on her. She used my wife's back as a table to just lay lotion on. How this place and this massage therapist has a license is beyond me. We tried to bring this to the owners attention. I was met with a barrage of insults and hostility immediately via phone call. I also have a barrage of insults via text message. My wife got up before the 60 minute mark of a 90 minute massage, made an excuse to go to the bathroom and just said that she's happy with cutting the massage short. This should tell you volumes about how bad the massage was. The owner continued to berate me on the phone and say that his massage therapist is one of the best in the country. Honestly this place and the owner seems delusional Moreover the owner did not even attempt to fix the situation in any way shape or form.

I had such a great experience here. First of all it was Valentine's Day and I had just finished tennis and my back and hip had already been bothering before I started by the time I finished my body was super angry with me, l started searching on yelp trying to find someone who could see me as soon as possible. They got back to me right away and Patrick was able to fit me in that day. He is a lymphatic specialist, I have never had a lymphatic massage before but I thought what the heck if it will make the pain go away I was willing to try anything. Patrick was excellent I left feeling so much better. The spa has a really nice vibe, it's really cute and quant.

This is the place to be if you want a relaxing massage after a day of golf or outdoor activities. Booked my 60 minutes of relaxation massage and was happy that I did. The therapist did a good job of relaxing my tensed muscles. Everyone was just nice and friendly. Highly recommended.

Love this cute little Spa on the Island. Wife and I had massages with Beth. She's wonderful and really cares so much for her clients. Among my most relaxing massages ever- Maybe the one thing that can make a beach trip even better. Just love having great places like this on the Island. I WILL be back. ASAP!

I just reached out to this establishment by email to inquire about a group package. I am traveling with 5 other young ladies and am looking for a shared experience (all of which was politely outlined in my email). This is the response I got back within 2 minutes: "Our prices or on line at Beachhousespa,thanks"  That's it! No greeting. No closing salutation. No name. No 'thank you for your interest.' Just that one line exactly as you see it. 1. That response is very impersonal and unprofessional. 2. There is zero information on their website about booking for a group. I looked before I emailed them, and checked again after their reply to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Been looking for good massage therapist for awhile. Beach House Spa delivers the best massage in Isle of Palms/ Mt. Pleasant area. Friendly and professional. Chronic back and neck ache, always feel better after deep tissue massage and stretch. Will definitely be coming back.

My wife and I did the couples massage and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish! I would highly recommend during your stay on Isle of Palms! We will be back again next year!

I'm feeling like a brand new person after a deep tissue massage with Nick at Beach House Spa. The staff is uber professional and the treatments are high quality!

Beth was wonderful! The massage was exactly what I needed on vacation! This spa is a little off the beaten path but don't let that deter you. This quaint spot is a perfect spot among all there is to offer in IOP.

If you have a lot of tightness try out Beth and her amazing ashiatsu skills! You will think she is using her hands but she uses her feet and it is like no other massage you have experienced. If you are in need of deep work this is the best for it. The spa is a little gem and Beth a diamond in the rough.

Beach House Spa is a very sweet establishment that puts their all into helping you relax and unwind. I was part of a party of three who went for massages and facials while we were vacationing during Christmas week. The location is very convenient for anyone staying at IOP -- so much so that Bill (the owner) offered to shuttle one of us home after her final appointment, saving us from making one more trip in the rain. They were easy to work with on the booking, too, texting a confirmation when we made a modification. Don't be deceived by the size of the shop -- they are small but very sweet. When you have the opportunity treat yourself here.

If I could give 10 stars I would! This is my families second year using Beach House Spa and it was an even better experience this year than last! My very generous mother got the idea to book massages for our family of 8 to surprise them on our week long vacation at Isle of Palms. We called about two months in advance and spoke with Bill the owner. He was very accommodating and took pre-payment and said we could just call throughout the week when we arrived to book for each person. Our massages were incredible, Jennifer and Laura are incredible at what they do! This year when we came in, Bill treated us like old friends and made sure we had five star treatment! A few of the girls also experienced facials this year and WOW was their esthetician fabulous! We look forward to these spa treatments every year now on vacation and can't wait to come back next year! Side note* It's a very quaint little building from the outside, don't let that discourage you from trying it out! The spa is clean, calming, and has an intimate feel about it. I can guarantee you wouldn't receive this great of service at a large resort spa! If you don't stop here while you're visiting IOP or even Charleston, you are missing out!!

The kindest man owns this spa and the people he employs are wonderful and skilled. I always leave there feeling taken care of and relaxed.

Still loving Beach House Spa sooooo much. Regular bi-monthly massages by Nick and monthly facials by Sharon have vastly improved my life!

So bad I asked to end the massage early. This was my 3rd massage from Beth. Each one was worse than the last. The massage wasn't even consistent on both sides of my body and the first time she literally dumped oil in my hair and I had to shampoo it multiple times to get the oil out. The second time, she piled so many hot stones on my stomach (and in the band of my underwear) that I was sweating and it affected my breathing. She even noticed and got cold rocks to cool me down since my face was then beat red. Still wanting to support a small business, My husband scheduled me a 3rd massage there but this time asked for a man to make sure I didn't get Beth. I still got Beth and she for some reason laid tissues on my face, laid my arms in her inner thighs, touched my butt crack more than my back and was moving so rushed and rough that she hurt my knee (from picking my leg up and shaking it) and gave me a headache from moving my body so rough that my head was banging into the head rest. She then laid me on my side which was not comfortable in the least which is when I finally told her I had to use the bathroom as a polite way to end the massage. Very disappointed and sad (busy working mom & I don't take time for myself except for my one massage a year) I paid and left. It was very clear that the owner and Beth Knew I was disappointed but never asked if I was okay or what was wrong. My husband then called to explain why I was so upset and left with 30 min to spare hoping it would help for future customers and the owner yelled at him and hung up on him. We really did try to explain why i was so uncomfortable and unhappy for nothing other than to bring awareness but the way we both treated by the owner and staff made me feel like I should leave a public review So that another customer doesn't go in hoping to leave relaxed but upset and stressed like I did

We made reservations to come here during a bachelorette trip last month. The house is small and only has three rooms, but the experience and (swedish) massage was amazing! Location was less than 2 miles from our beach house. The staff were very welcoming a friendly. Highly recommend if you are in need of relaxation during your vacation.

We came for massages and and were not disappointed. In fact- we were super pleased!!! Nick gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. We will definitely be back!!!! Thank you Bill!!!

BEST facial and massage I've ever had. Very cute little cottage, very friendly staff, the owner was wonderful. If you're in the area and need/want massage or facial, this is your place! Highly, highly recommend!

This island oasis has a great staff. We scheduled a 90 min massage, Swedish for the wife deep tissue for the husband. We both can say these were the best massages we have had in a long time. We will be back on our next visit.

This spa is incredible. Go inside! Do not be fooled by the outer looks. Completely professional staff and the beat facial I've had in years. Sharon is excellent. I leave with a 'glow' and gorgeous skin. Very competitive price for the extremely high quality of work.

Great at home massage service!! Booked 1 day in advance and Nick did a phenomenal job on 4 of the people in our group. Both for those with injuries and just to relax. Would definitely recommend the service for the cost!

I went in with so much pain in my back. I've been to two doctors now and left with no answers and no pain relief. My husband made me a massage appointment at The Beach House because he knew how uncomfortable I was. I went to see Laura and I woke up today a new person. I highly recommend this place. The staff is very nice and the place is cozy inside. I feel great today and will be going back in a few weeks to continue the therapy.

nick is the best massage therapist I have ever been to. This spa is small but packs a big punch in professionalism service and friendliness. Family has had other services. All great. But I have a bad neck and back and NIck is my "go to" for relief. I go for 90 minutes of something between deep tissue and Swedish and it saves me during every beach vacation. thanks guys!!

First let me say, this is not a review from a first timer going to a spa. I am a long time Charleston resident. I just moved over to Isle of Palms. I have been going to Stella Nova for bikini and eye brow waxing for at least the last 5 years. I decided to try The Beach House Spa. Nicole was my Esthetician. The bikini wax went off without issue and was done fine. The eyebrows, didn't go as planned. After waxing the eyebrows she put a soothing lotion for the redness that was supposed to go away, I got home and my husband looked at my face and asked what had happened. This took place on last Friday. I went in this past Saturday and spoke to the owner, Bill. I have what looks like a big red scratch/scrape between my brows now and left upper lid. This doesn't look like anything you just get from irritation. They suggested it wasn't broken skin and it would heal. They were nice and reimbursed me money. The redness didn't go away at all for the next 5 days. So I made an appointment with my Derma (Mount Pleasant Derma) They didn't feel the same way. They believe I am going to have scarring from this now and warned me that in the future I will likely not be able to get waxed in the eyebrow area. My doctor had no clue what happened. It was not a result of "dry" skin as they suggested. I WILL NOT GO BACK. I think it is important to share these things.

One word, AMAZING! Bill greeted me and was super nice. I got a deep tissue from Laura and she saved my vacation. I get migraines and I was in quite a bit of pain. I get massages on a regular basis and this by far has been the BEST I have ever had. I felt bad for Laura's hands! Whenever I am in town, you can count on me visiting Beach House Spa!
