The staff at front desk were nice and helpful, but I would NEVER go back there, it was horrible, disgusting, the elevator didn’t work. I booked two rooms for my family and one of the rooms didn’t have a working AC windows with no screens or security. I was told to get a fan at the lobby and that fan was full of dust. Bathroom towels were stained. Great location but please don’t book here!!! The images in google are not 100% realistic

This vintage hotel is awesome. Rooms were clean, beds were cozy. A/C is central not by room. We were a bit chilly so front desk gave us two fleece blankets and we slept beautifully. The retro decor starts as soon as you walk into this heritage type building and is mirrored throughout. The elevator was out of order which was unfortunately because we were looking forward to seeing the old fashioned style lift. Front staff was very helpful with any and all questions I had. Location is insane! Walking out the front door takes you right to the beach. Nestled in between great restaurants. 30 second walk from bicycle rentals. I would definitely come back.

⸻ ⭐ ZERO STARS – Do Yourself a Favor and Book Somewhere Else ⭐ Beach Park Hotel – South Beach, Miami I’m not someone who complains or leaves bad reviews — I’m actually very easy to please — but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel like people should know what they’re walking into. I had three prepaid rooms booked. The only issue was that the reservation was originally under my email instead of my name. I noticed this on my way from the cruise terminal to the hotel and immediately contacted the booking company. They updated the reservation on the spot and emailed me the corrected confirmation showing everything under my name. By the time I arrived at the hotel, I had: • The updated reservation email with my name on it • My photo ID • My booking ID • My reference number • The credit card used to pay Even with all of that, the receptionist refused to check me in because she said she “couldn’t see the name change on her end.” I showed her the email with the updated information right in front of her, but she still wouldn’t budge. She didn’t try to troubleshoot, didn’t offer alternatives, and didn’t seem interested in helping at all. We had 12 people standing in the lobby for two hours, and to make things worse, no manager was on-site at 11 AM on a busy Friday. She claimed she reached out to the manager, but we never heard from anyone. The condition of the hotel didn’t help either. • The lobby was dirty and outdated • The public restroom was filthy and the toilet barely worked • There was no water available for guests while waiting After two hours of getting nowhere — despite having every form of proof — we finally gave up and booked rooms elsewhere. I’m really not picky, and I understand mistakes happen, but the complete lack of effort or basic customer service was unacceptable. I would absolutely recommend staying at a different hotel.

Love the Beach Park Hotel! It's a no frills hotel, meaning there are no amenities except for hairdryer and TV. They don't even have coffee! Despite that, it is absolutely outstanding in customer service and location. It's old, but interesting. Bring your own everything. They are very warm and friendly and I felt safe there. Location couldn't be better, right at the entrance of South beach.|It's reasonably priced. They elevator doesn't function and you have to carry your own stuff. There are plenty of restaurants around. Very economical and very nice people.

This hotel did not have an elevator. I was not advised to that. She told me that she sent emails to Expedia and all the other places, and they were supposed to contact us. We were not contacted. The air-conditioning in the room did not work. It was controlled at the front desk. The room was dirty. I just don’t think they’ve ever mopped it. You felt stuff all over the floor you had one wash rag with two people there were holes in the hallway walls stains all over the place and you had to pay $45 a night to park your car. They have no control of the Parking. None of this was told to us by Expedia or the hotel when they reached out to thank us for booking their hotel before our trip. I contacted Expedia to try and get my money back for the room so I could go somewhere else Expedia told me that the front desk people told her they wasn’t given any money back went in all reality. Expedia never even tried. I will never use Expedia for another hotel room and this room should be rated at zero stars. I tried contacting the hotel manager. She gave me her card before we left and she’s never available. All in all the trip to Miami was great, but the accommodations was trash.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for one night because we were scheduled to board a Carnival cruise the next day. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had.||The hotel smells absolutely horrible, and the odor is overwhelming throughout the building. The downstairs furniture is old, outdated, filthy, and extremely neglected—and that’s an understatement.||Upon arrival, despite booking the hotel in advance, we were informed that the elevator was broken, and we were expected to carry all of our luggage upstairs. The front desk manager was extremely rude, unprofessional, and verbally abusive, cursing at both me and my son because he gave my son a room key that didn’t work. The situation became so hostile that security had to intervene, and even the security guard told the front desk manager to calm down. I felt very uncomfortable and disrespected.||When I finally got to the room, the shower did not work. I sent my grandson to notify the front desk, and instead of fixing the issue, they gave him a piece of paper with instructions on how to turn the shower on. Even after following the directions, the water pressure was extremely low.||To make matters worse, when my grandson went to use the bathroom, he lifted the toilet seat and found it clogged with feces. When he reported this to the front desk, he was told there was a plunger on every floor for guests to handle it themselves. That response was absolutely unacceptable.||This hotel has no maintenance, no customer service, and no professionalism. Between the broken elevator, filthy conditions, rude and hostile front desk staff, and unsanitary bathroom issues, this place is truly a hotel from hell.||I strongly advise no one to stay here. This property should be condemned. It is unsafe, unsanitary, and completely unfit for guests.

Google
Our room had no fridge, very uneven floors, stains on furniture, everything in here is 100 years old since this places opened in the 20’s, that includes the style, the furniture, the pictures, the hallways smell odd and moist, they refused to drop the temperature 2 degrees in our room because the AC is for the whole floor. Then they knocked on our door and wake us up at 8 in the morning because they thought we were a different customer. And on top of that the elevator doesn’t work Do yourself a favor and find a different hotel

Google
This hotel is very old with no frills. The furniture was very dirty. The plumbing didn't work well and the A.C was minimal. I will say the staff that work there were very kind. However , when we upgraded , they put us in a room that had the strangest odor that we couldn't get rid of and we paid extra. I'm not likely to stay there again but the location was perfect I will say that.

Yelp
When we went into our room, the temperature was 60 degrees! It was so cold . They said the temperature could not be changed. There was no thermostat in the room. The elevator was broken and has been broken for awhile. There was no one to help you get your luggage drag your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. They said that the guy who helps with luggage had gone home. We stayed that one night and quickly left to another hotel the next night. I took extra night time prescription to be able to sleep. My friend was up the entire night unable to sleep due to it was freezing cold. The hotel was built in the 1920's and look like it. EVERYTHING OLD! Nothing like a regular hotel. Tiny TV but we didn't even turn it on because all we could focus on was how cold the room was. What hotel keeps the room temperature at 60 degrees and can't change the temperature. When we sat on the beds, you could probably hear them outside. Old mattresses that was creaking so loud it was outrageous! Never again!!

Yelp
Absolutely NOTHING like the photos. Very old hotel which is okay at times but it was just dirty & gross. The valet lot was glowing so bright at night it was impossible to sleep even with the curtains drawn. The beds both squeaked really bad & and caused sore backs in the morning. Only thing I loved was the location. Would not recommend unfortunately.

Yelp
Not quite like the pictures. Location is what this hotel has going for it and that is about it. This hotel is very baffle bones to say the least. We aware that they will tack on a $25 "fee" for the WIF and beach towels.....we did not get the 2 bottles of water. The elevator was broken so we had to walk our luggage up to our 3rd floor room with no offer of assistance. The people were not warm or friendly upon check in. It is quite loud at night in the room from the street noice below and then you can hear everyone out in the hallway. We do have a great view of the beach out our window. The TV in the room gets very few channels and did I mention how scarce the room is as in no frills. There is no way to adjust the temperature in the room and it is quite cold. The bed did not have much in the way of covering and no spare blanket in the closet so I was cold all night.

Destiny G.

Yelp
DO NOT visit this property. The pictures deceive you into believing that it is a old/classic themed hotel... it is just old and run down. In the bathroom there were bugs, the paint was peeling and the staff was terrible. The person at the front desk was just watching tik tok live not giving a damn about his job. I spontaneously booked a hotel up the street for HALF the price and it ended up being amazing. Please please please do not book here. I don't want anyone else to have the experience I had. If I could give 0 stars I would. Add on: The elevator was broken and seeing a review from a month ago it was broken for a while. They let us know that the elevator was broken the night before. Probably let us know so late so it wouldn't give us time to cancel.

Yelp
This is my third visit from 2022, the hotel used to have a great ambience, now is kind of dusty, it looks like is having a bad maintenance, since. I stayed in the top floor in a decent , all services service waere terrible, No Elevators working, no water service, no A/C service during almost 18 hours at least. That happened on July 2023. Muat improve Customer service.

Yelp
If you want to freeze to death then stay at this hotel. There is no temperature control in the bedroom the air conditioner is on full blast 24/7. I walked into my room and it was literally 55°. It was freezing like an icebox and there is no way to turn off the AC. I cannot even stay in the room because it's so cold and the windows are bolted shut so I can't open them for warm air. Lobby area has the feel of a 1930s hotel but upstairs it's like a 1980s Holiday Inn. Oh and one other thing... no hot water. Wanted to take a warm shower after we chaecked in. Let the shower run for 20 mins and NO HOT WATER.

Yelp
An amazing stay! Was here for my friends birthday and the property was beautiful and the room was just as described. Loved the location so close to the beach, you have to try the restaurant cjs that's practically in the hotel. Will definitely stay here again. I was really reluctant to stay at first because a lot of these reviews are pretty tough, but honestly such an amazing place !!! Would give more stars if I could.

Nicole L.

Yelp
OK, so I WANT to love it.. but I don't. The one thing à hotel is supposed to provide is a décent sleep. We did not. I don't mind the AC being out of our control BUT it's aimed directly at the bed, blasting, so me and my 2 teens ended up all in the same bed so we had double the blankets we were supposed to have and extra body heat It IS old but my daughter and I were aiming for the charm of it. She was thrilled to be in an old elevator where you have that extra door to close :) Room was great and clean..just so cold. It is TRUE, if you come in late as we did, the security guard is very non responsive and passive. He looks uninterested into taking care of the late arrivals and seems disturbed that he had to stop eating to provide us with a key. He also spoke so low that you could hardly hear him. So, because of that welcome unwelcoming and majorly because we were freezing, I put 3 stars..I would have but 2,5 if I could.

Yelp
If buildings could speak, this one would be screaming "STAAAY AWAAAY"***MOLD ALERT ***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE...DON'T RISK YOUR HEALTH or WASTE YOUR MONEY...You'd see... the online pictures are ENTIRELY deceiving. Not a hotel, more like an old convalescent home or Bate's motel-like...Hotel foyer smelled like old pinesol & poor cleanliness...Has an old creepy scissor elevator like in a haunted mansion... Housekeeper was literally dragging large bags of trash around in the foyer. The "Deluxe" room with seaview felt like a hospital room & set the stage for a slasher movie...Was very old looking with cold linoleum floors, convalescent home windows & a 19 inch plasma T.V. Slumlord type management...was shown pictures of the mold...Blamed it on being close to the beach. If you like sleeping with MOLD, cold floors, stale smells, etc...then this is your kind of place to stay, and best Health wishes to you.

Yelp
One of the worst hotels I ever stayed in. Room had mole all over and house keepijg never came to clean even when I made requests. The hotel didn't provide cups or utensils. AC stayed on nonstop and couldn't be turned off which made the room very cold at times. The shower didn't have curtains which made the bathroom become wet. Never staying here again.

Yelp
I came across this cute little hotel on south beach, since I wanted to be in the midst of all entertainment. At entrance it looks like an old well taken care of building. It was good and bad. I told my friend, omg I'm afraid to look at the rooms. The elevator...well it's an old and I mean old fashion titanic style elevator, pretty neat, which gives it its traditional look. Upon entering the room all I can say is that it was exactly what picture shows. Comfortable, clean and enough for me. Definitely not a 5 star top of the line hotel but it was for me. It is on the small size, 1 queen room but as mentioned it was perfect! One thing is for sure do not get a room next to the Main Street if ur a light sleeper, u can hear noise and partying outside and people down the hall but once again I'm ok with that because I die when I , hehe. Yes it's close to everything We Lyft everywhere, very affordable U can walk across to the beach Restaurants shops all walking distance and u even have a cvs that's walking distance and a target which u may need a lyft. People are very friendly here. Enjoy your stay!

Yelp
We stayed here for three nights and overall had a great experience. The staff was very friendly (especially Marlin) who allowed us to check in early and waived a $57 fee for us. They also allowed us to leave bags with them for not extra cost on the day we arrived and day we left so that we didn't have to haul our luggage around. The $85 resort fee was a bit of a surprise when we checked in and I wish that had been broadcasted more when booking but other than that it was an affordable stay. The only two things that we didn't love was that the beds were very loud and not the most comfortable. It was also very loud and bright at night. The windows and curtains are thin so it was a bit hard to sleep with the outdoor noises and bright lights. The room was very cleaned and we loved the beach theme. I think the best part of this hotel was the location on South Beach Drive and the easy access to the beach (2 min walking) I would definitely stay here again. Just make sure to bring earplugs and a sleep mask for night!

Yelp
Stopped by as they serve coffee and ice cream. There are two small tables outside. I found out after ordering you cannot drink your coffee in the lobby, and the chairs outdoors were being used outside already. I would recommend skipping this place as you may not be able to enjoy and relax or enjoy some AC if needed after supporting their business, rules are rules but that's what reviews are for

S A.

Yelp
This place is a complete gimmick, reserved it during Spring break, they charged me for the first night $360/ then a few days later charged me again and guess what??? They turned around and cancelled my reservation not even notifying booking.com which is who I purchased my room through. Never again. Made me had to pay for another hotel thankfully there was another room nearby where I was able to stay but this was not it. The lobby is very antique and old. Restaurant in the front vale is $80 however with the hotel you pay $48. $200/ nightly deposit can be with cash or on your card. Across the street from the beach. Has no other parking so just be aware if your bringing a car it's about $50-60/overnight nightly rate. Uber is ok however book way ahead of time as it can be a bit of a headache waiting in the traffic. I spoke with Mel and Melissa the entire time and this was very annoying. According to Melissa who was the manager she said she doesn't know why Mel told me that my reservation was cancelled as it wasn't from what she seen. Fyi I'm still awaiting my refund!!!

Yelp
Better then I expected. Old charm, remodeled look. On Ocean, walking distance to bars, clubs and restaurants. Built in the 1920s. It's still got the antique look in the lobby. Rooms have been recently remodeled. Doesn't look as modern as the website photos. They must of gotten a very good photographer, but it's nice for he price. We paid $104/night and for that price you can't beat it. I gave it 4 stars due to your "bang for your buck". Pros: good location and price recently remodeled rooms Cons: walls and windows are paper thin old building old elevator
google avatar

Carrie M.

Yelp
Decent hotel and clean. Great location for South Beach. Right off the strip and across the street from the beach. We didn't know it was THE spring break weekend or THE spring breakers location and therefore it was packed with college kids. Room was tiny, barely comfortable for 4 people to stay in. In room phone didn't work. No AC controls so it was too hot or too cold. Didn't feel entirely safe staying here. There was constantly people coming and going and always people hanging outside the front door. No type of security. Very outdated. The building has character but was ruined by the college scene.

Yelp
If you're booking an upgraded room, do not book it through a 3rd party. I booked a premium suite through Expedia and sure paid a premium for it. But when we walked into our room, we had an old standard room. They had no problem taking my money for the upgraded room, but then apparently that information doesn't convey to the hotel's system. Elvira at the front desk was great and very nicely explained that they didn't have that information on their end, even though I had a receipt, and all suites were sold out. I know stuff like this happens and the manager promised a refund for the difference in price, so I left happy. But then they never actually processed the refund and things took a turn. I spent 6 hours on the phone between Expedia and the hotel over weeks trying to get the refund I was promised, and every time, management told more and more absurd lies to get out of refunding the difference they had already agreed to. They changed their story and said they had the suite available and that I didn't like it, which was a complete lie. They refused the refund and said I had some conversation with some night manager, which was also made up. What's the point? I don't like disputes and I really don't like wasting my time. I wish I hadn't just wasted hours on the phone before ultimately having to dispute the charge with my credit card because it taints an otherwise pleasant weekend. If the manager had just issued the refund as he originally promised, we could have all been spared this drama. Management is a mess, but if you can avoid interacting with them, you're good. It's a cute, historic hotel in a great location across the street from the beach. It's obviously old and hasn't been renovated in a while, but that's to be expected with historic hotels. UPDATE: After nearly 10 hours of phone calls trying to resolve this issue, a helpful representative from Expedia took the time to review the notes from the many phone calls back and forth with the hotel and agreed that their story kept changing, catching them in their lies, and issued a FULL REFUND for my stay. I never asked for a full refund, I just wanted to be reimbursed for the upgraded room I paid for but didn't get. Expedia assured me that this behavior was not acceptable from their partners and that the hotel would be sanctioned appropriately to ensure this does not happen again in the future.

Yelp
I wanted to write a nice review for everyone being so nice at the Hotel but I am very disappointed with how the billing was handled and feel it is still not finished and I did not get an apology and do not think it is coming. Instead I was asked to call back again and again and treated like I just don't understand my bill, when many mistakes were made. My Room price was supposed to be $510.94 Night 1 $224.10 Night 2 $224.10 Taxes $Fees $62.74 On February 20th I was charged $255.47 for one night's stay. On February 22nd upon check-in I was charged a remaining balance of $453.47 Alicia the Assistant Manager was so sweet. She waved my early check-in fee of $57.00, because I flew in over night and landed at 8am getting tot he Hotel by 10am exhausted and dirty, They let me check-in way early and I was very grateful for that, and that they were able to find me a room that was ready. Unfortunately it seems that Elvira made a mistake in the code she entered and instead of waving the early check in fee she accidentally charged me TWO upgrade fees at $50 a night. I did not realize it at the time. I then was charged the $200 room deposit which I knew about, am fine with, and SHOULD BE RELEASED by next week. I was very happy to get to my room 307, although I could see probably why it was readily available and not occupied, there is a very loud air conditioner or some machine going on in the Hallway all day and all night, it was a little annoying but not too bad as I am a heavy sleeper and was not in my room very much. My room was beautiful and perfectly clean, with an absolutely BEAUTIFUL view of the beach! I was so happy with my room. I requested more hangers and Lizette got them up to me right away, Housekeeping did a great job with my room Day 2 as well. The Hotel was beautiful and perfectly located. They provided me with bottle waters, lawn chair and towels for the beach which was very helpful. I walked right across the street to a perfect spot on the beach, it was wonderful. Whatever I needed throughout the weekend, Alicia, Lizette and Elvira happily helped me. Alicia gave me to passes to Mangoes which saved me $40, and helped me find a affordable shuttle from the Fort Lauderdale Aiport. I requested late check out on my last day and was told I could stay until Noon with no charge or until 3pm with a $57.00 charge which I agreed to. I was all done with check out in 5 minutes. Instead of the $57.00 fee Elvira only charged me $30,which I have proof of in receipt, again I believe entering the wrong code, but I was grateful and headed home. Today I realized that I was overcharged. What should have been 3 charges of $510+$57+200= $767.94 with the $200 returned to me in 7-10 days leaving a balance of $567.94 instead ballooned into 5 charges of $255.47+$453.47+$50+$50+$50=$858.94 as confirmed by Marlin today. Neither Alicia nor Marlin apologized to me for the mistake. After 3 or 4 conversations with Marlin today she said I will only be refunded $114, but did not explain why. I should be refunded $291 according to my calculations. I would have loved to come back again to this beautiful hotel again in the future with my family, but with all the issues with billing I think it's better I find somewhere else maybe. If you come to this Hotel PLEASE go over your bill very clearly line by line before you leave!

Yelp
Honestly, this hotel doesn't even deserve one star. The front desk receptionist Leo is rude and racist. We arrived early and was told prior that we would be able to check in early based upon availability. So it should be first come first serve. We showed up at the hotel at 10 AM although check in starts at 4. Prior to coming I was told I should be able to check in around 1. Now another couple comes in after we do at around 2 and was able to check in with no problem. The couple happened to be caucasian and we are clearly minority's. Money was not an issue because we let them know that we would have no problem paying for being here a little while extra. Still waiting and another caucasian woman walks in at around 3 and was able to check in without being told anything about their check in policy starting at 4. At this point, we're ready to just go to another hotel - but of course they have no refunds policy. He insists on telling us that check in is at 4 and that the other couple was able to check in because their room was "ready." How is it that if we offered to pay extra , came here earlier and spoke with other receptionists prior that another couple can come and check in before us? He was very rude, not friendly and not accommodating to us but was very accommodating to the other couple. He had attitude when confronted about the other couple being able to check in before us. They lack common sense and hospitality. If someone has been here since 10AM and check out time is at 11, common sense would be to have that room cleaned first so that we could check in earlier. At the end of the day, it would've put more money in for the company. As time is going on staff is now talking to me across the room rather than asking me to come up to the desk to speak. That is rude. Although the location is convenient for being on South Beach, the staff is horrible. Just stay at another hotel. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone in my life. Note to management: Train your staff in proper educate and if they want to be strict about check in time then they need to treat all guests the same and hold them all to that same policy.

Yelp
Paid for valet but had to park my own vechile after calling multiple times while security watched. Packed own bags etc. Desk returned key after car inspection then called as we were out stating that they need key back while I was eating. Instructed them Key was in my room they threatened to tow because someone wanted out. Paid for meal that I didn't eat to return key monitored car and it was never moved. They also stated they would buy my dinner but didn't. Asked for refund before actually staying in room and was looked at and ignored, asked why I was being ignored and they desk attendant just said yes. Manager was supposed to be there in the morning but wasn't as I was told multiple times. Don't stay here there are much nicer places.

Yelp
This historic hotel was almost perfect for our stay. Elvira and Alicia were the best!! They tried their best to get us checked in early since our flight got us there at 10am. We were able to get in our room 2 hours early which was great since we had early dinner reservations. We have the queen suite with the beach view and it was a prime location for the movie shooting of Bad Boys for Life; lots of fun but lots of noise. I know it's a super old hotel, but I would recommend adding more outlets in the rooms because with 5 girls in one room wanting to charge phones with 2 outlets was frustrating. The beds are really uncomfortable and make so much noise when moving around. I do wish there was a full size mirror in the room to check out your outfit and to do your makeup. Rooms in the front get a lot of the street noise since the windows are extremely thin. Had it not been for Elvira and Alicia being so awesome, our stay wouldn't have been as great. Thank you ladies!

Yelp
This hotel has a lot of charm, a great staff, and is in a great location. My room was clean, the AC kept the room cold and the beach is right across the street. The staff helped us out by allowing us to check into our room early. The Lyft from Miami International Airport was only 20 minutes/$15. Good deal!

Yelp
WORST and most alarming experience ever at a hotel. Won't even go into the initial poor service, lack of polite staff, delay to check in, cheaply appointed rooms etc. and tell you that a man (who management told me was a staff member) ENTERED MY ROOM at 4.00AM, stood at the end of the bed as I screamed. I was terrified, being a single female occupant of the room. I was in shock, and called the front desk over 20 times in the next 45 mins to no answer (24 hour desk is advertised). Of course I didn't sleep again so went downstairs at 6am to no staff, try and find someone to be told, by front desk AND the manager, that it was no big deal, it was a staff member who made a mistake and was looking for a girl... (WHAT?) Management could not understand my alarm and concern that this could happen - which baffled me. If it was a staff member, even by mistake, then an apology should have been made on the spot, not just a creepy stare by the intruder, then the front desk should have called my room to calm my fears and profusely apologize. Management did nothing except say people make mistakes and they dont think he was drunk? I was then offered a voucher for free nachos (?!) I immediately checked out, and had to battle management for a refund as they did not see that they were in the wrong. Disgusting staff, horrible hotel with poor amenities.

Yelp
Looked on Travelocity website and reviews were ok but when I got here, they charged me fees for things that should come with hotel and no parking. On top of all of this, hotel is under construction and making noises all day long. My wife is pregnant and they don't want to cancel my reservation. Valley parking personal is amazing but that about it.

Yelp
Not safe in or outside hotel!!! We only stayed one night here thankfully if we had booked another night we would have switched hotels no matter the price. The view from our room was nice and there was a lot to do in walking distance. The issues included a person pulling a gun out in front of the hotel doors and threatening someone who was out of hand. This screaming went on for over 30 minutes. The situation escalated very quickly and it took a long time before police arrived at the scene. We watched the whole thing from our room and felt extremely unsafe. The next morning at 8am there was screaming in the hallway and a woman claiming a man had a gun on him luckily we were able to walk away without being harassed. There was no security in the morning and our Uber arrived before we saw any police. The situation was not handle and everyone seemed like they wanted to mind their own business. We stayed in March so it was spring break. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND STAY SOMEWHERE SAFE!

Yelp
After getting off of 10 hours of flying you want to relax in a nice hotel... this is not the hotel for that. Once you walk in it's very old and looking at the details, is falling apart. The woman gave us the wrong room number and had us walk in on people already occupying the room , awkward. After explaining no sorry or upgrading the room, she said go to the room next to it and left it at that. The room had hair all over the sink, dust, stained sheets, and smelt like cigarettes, although there is a sign everywhere saying no smoking. The other gentleman was very kind in helping us get a full refund being we were only there for 10 minuets. It was full of "Jan does" and men barking at you. Not recommend for families or anyone at there. Airb&b is the best bet

Yelp
I stayed here for a total of 5 days. The location is ideal for people that want to be near all the action menaing bars, lounges, restaurants, and it across the street from the beach. The hotel is very outdated not much to offer. The pictures that are shown to do not show how the hotel actually looked during my visit last week. The staff is ok. The rooms are pretty small. This is perfect for some one that wants to be walking distance to most things and is not going to spend much time in their room.

Yelp
Current guest. Toilet is not in working order. It is now after midnight and we are on the third floor.Advised the front desk who said that it could not be fixed until morning. The plunger is apparently locked in the maintenance room. We can't change rooms because they say there are none available. We were told we could use the lobby restroom until morning. That restroom is disgusting and also has plumbing issues. The front desk gave me the manager's business card so I can speak with her in the morning. At this point they deserve no stars.

Yelp
GET A BACK UP HOTEL!! In August, I booked a group stay with a total of 10 rooms (5 rms Fri-Sun, 5 rms Sat-Sun) for a wkend stay before heading out to a cruise for Feb 2019. They gave me a set price for each room & took all credit card information to reserve the booking on all rooms. I received confirmation emails for the booking which should have been considered a binding legal contract. However, 4 months later, now December, MELISSA MERUELO sends me an email telling me that due to a yacht show occurring the same wkend my rates have gone up & if I'm still interested to confirm, otherwise my reservations will be cancelled. I was not honored the rates previously provided & the rate per night doubled almost tripled amounting to about 1k for 2 nights. Now I'm left scrambling explaining to all other parties in my group on what occurred & looking for another place to stay. Is this even legal??!! Better Business Bureau will be hearing from me. Now, I'm searching for other hotels and everything has gone up in price since the date of arrival is closer. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Yelp
Came for a bachelorette weekend. Fair priced. The hotel is quite old with a very interesting elevator. The lady at the desk told us there was no 3rd floor even though our room was indeed on the 3rd floor... they also said they would text us when our room was ready, but never did. It's a very no frills hotel. Rooms were fine , but old. Beds are LOUD and uncomfortable. The rooms also lack outlets for mobile devices. The location is great because it's right across the beach and in the middle of everything. Probably would not stay there again.

Yelp
Stayed at the Beach Park Hotel for 10 days in early December. Have to say that Mirlaine at the front desk was so helpful and cheerful, greeted us like an old friend and made the long stay there very pleasant!

Yelp
Staff was friendly and greeted us quickly. Nice main lobby and everything was clean. The room was large. The staff member that checked us in (mirlane) was extremely gracious. The best part of hotel is the proximity to the beach and shops.

Yelp
Came to the Beach Park Hotel to enjoy a nice vacation with my family and ended up receiving the W O R S T service I have ever experienced. First, they could not find the keys to our room(this was after checking us in and going through a 20 minute check in process) THEN we finally go to the room and it's currently occupied. Saw a toothbrush, dildo, suitcase and 2 backpacks all just sitting there. After we came down to complain how they double booked our room, the woman at the desk rolled her eyes and called the manager and asked him to come. She then put us on the phone with the manager. He told us there was no bar and no waiting area for us to go while we waited for him to arrive. After mentioning how weird that was he asked to speak with the other manager and when they hung up she told us there was a bar just behind these stairs in the distance and we had 2 free drinks. When there were clearly 3 of us waiting for this room. When we told her there were 3 people checking in she told us there was nothing more that she could do and to please step aside. DO NOT RECOMMEND. YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY. ......and the margaritas were terrible.

Yelp
If I didn't have to score they would get below zero stars. Worst hotel on south beach. The very first day the front desk attendant did not want to accommodate myself and my group after we discovered bugs and bug wings all over, in the bed and bathroom. We asked to be moved to a different room and the attendant said they had no additional rooms and provided a piece of paper explaining where the bugs come from. The paper clearly stated they would be glad to clean the bugs and the attendant refused and gave horrible attitude as if we were asking for services outside of their policy promise, it wasn't until we made multiple complaints that she sent a house keeper to clean the lights where the bugs supposedly come from. After 15 minutes into further inspecting the room we found that the refrigerator was broken, leaking water and the door would not close, the attendant said she would call back and after waiting five minutes she called and said she would move us to a different room(that she initially said she didn't have)because there was no one available to replace/fix the refrigerator. The new room had no sight of bugs in lights nor bug wings all over the beds and floors. Each day following this day we received attitude from each front desk attendant that followed, they would not provide additional sheets for pull out coach once house keeping left for the night. The tissue and towels were on the floor after room service was completed. Face soap and conditioner was not replenished. There were spiders in the room that climbed in one of the bed and bit my friends legs multiple times on the last three nights. The final day the front desk attendant attempted to charge a fee for a damaged towel without an explanation as to what towel nor who included the fee. She also did not want to provide her name and said "I did not write it down, I don't have to provide it..."In addition to all this unprofessionalism and lack of sanitation we were hassled and confused and treated unfairly based on an error made by the hotel manager Eduardo. Before being able to speak to him we were refused an explanation, help, empathy and the opportunity to speak to a manager by the front desk attendant. It wasn't until we were increasingly upset that she called Eduardo. He suggested that we give him a cash deposit on the day of arrival, which was provided. We did just that but he calculated and charged the remaining charges and fees incorrectly. When we requested a detailed explanation of the charges Eduardo and the front desk attendant instead attempted to send us away, gave horrible unreasonable attitude and called the police because we were upset about his error. We requested that he check hotel cameras to show proof of the transaction that took place and after going to a back room for some time Eduardo came back with a more detailed explanation that made sense. Initially they did not empathize with our concern or acknowledge the error on their part nor did he apologize until the end. Instead he got upset and said he did not help us and did not remember us, but his name as well as another attendants name was on the booking. He could have made it a more seamless interaction but interacted with denial and placed the blame on guest. This is by far my worst south beach experience, furthermore, hotel experience ever! They are dirty, shady and unorganized. They are discriminatory as are many of the businesses in this area. I will never in my life stay here again please think twice before you decide to book this hotel. They will also speak Spanish thinking you can't understand them and I understand fluently and the way they communicated when referring to myself and friends was less than professional and flat out rude. NEVER AGAIN!
