We had a great experience at the hotel. I’m not sure why people are giving such low reviews, the staff was so friendly, the location is amazing, and the rooms are very clean. We stayed for one night before our cruise, they held our luggage in storage for us at no charge, so we could tour the city before our room was available. Yes the hotel is older, most are on ocean drive, but the rooms are very tidy and clean, I had no issues with the staff. The shower was tricky to use at first, but when I asked the front desk, I was given instructions on how to use it, after that there was no issues at all with the showers. I would definitely rebook again with them.

Rooms are lacking due to no outlets, small TV, bar soap only, and the squeakiest bed to ever exist. Room service was good but the best thing about this place is the location + free beach towels at request from the front desk. Also the elevator is really cool and old fashion! Good value, just don’t expect luxury

My husband and I stayed here before our last cruise. We wanted to stay on South Beach within walking distance of the beach. The location of this hotel is fantastic. We easily walked from place to place without any trouble. Our room was clean and the service we received at the front desk was great. The only thing we noticed was that the walls are pretty thin and we could hear anyone out in the hall from our room. The decor was very vintage and beautiful. Totally worth checking out!

Didn't stay at this hotel, but CJ's restaurant is connected so had to use the facilities. Security did check foot traffic coming in off of the street but with pleasant to anyone coming in from the restaurant side. Also had to retrieve our valet keys from this front desk as the valet left while we were eating our dinner.

I would stay at a motel before I ever come back to this hotel. The pictures they show look absolutely nothing like the rooms. Everything is low quality. There was 1 socket in the room behind the bed and only 1 extension cord connected to it. The lamp did not work. The tv did not work. The door to the rooms are so low quality u can kick them down with 1 try. There were ants in the bathroom. The front desk lady was very dismissive and rude. DO NOT LET THE PICTURES OR PRICE FOOL YOU. DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.

the location is amazing, right on the ocean drive and a short walk away from the beach. there also is a free outside gym right across the street. sadly that is the only amazing thing about this hotel. the service seemed unmotivated and did not feel efficient. we had to wait for 2 days for our room to be cleaned because we hadn’t put out a sign which specifically states to make the room. furthermore most staff members speak little english which made it challenging to conversate. the height of the shower head in the room cannot be adjusted, me being 186cm (6foot 1inch), I had to shower in a squat position.

My experience at the Beach Park Hotel did not meet my expectations. Upon arrival, I was required to pay a USD 200 deposit and a USD 200 resort fee, which I had not been informed about beforehand. The resort fee, amounting to USD 25 per room per day, supposedly covers beach towels, the in-room safe, and Wi-Fi, which I found to be quite unreasonable. Initially, these amenities should have been included in the daily rate, and secondly, this information should have been clearly communicated during the booking process. I made my reservation through a travel agent, who, in turn, booked through Expedia, which was unaware of this fee. The hotel stated that this information is available on its website, but I had difficulty locating it. The hotel and the rooms were not up to par, poorly maintained, and did not resemble the images on the website. The building is old, with an outdated elevator that was out of service throughout my stay. The front desk staff was not very helpful. Furthermore, the rooms lacked a microwave and coffee maker, and there wasn't a microwave available anywhere in the building. The hotel's primary advantage is its location, being close to the beach and more affordable than other hotels on the street. Considering these factors, I would rate this hotel with one star. I do not intend to book a room at this hotel again in the future. However this most certainly did not spoil my time in Miami.

By far the worst hotel I’ve stayed. This should be considered a motel by their standards. The staff were rude and basically ignored us. The location felt unsafe. The lobby was gross and had no AC. The elevator was nearly broken (picture says enough). We reserved the queen suite which I have to assume is the nicest room in the hotel and it was still questionable. The bed was like sleeping on a piece of cardboard and nothing felt clean. Also, the noise from the streets was loud all night. We ended up moving to a different hotel in mid beach which was a night and day difference. Avoid this place at all costs.
