Beach Park Motel -

Near bus stand, beach and park. Spacious room. Free Wifi (password behind the door) and parking. With Smart television.The reception is open from 11 am to 6 pm. Hair dryer and towel change are available upon request. Suggest to add more cloth hangers to the wardrobe and provide a knife.

We stayed in rooms 7 and 8 close to new years, and the aircon in room 8 did not work. To her credit, the staff on shift tried to fix it which involved turning off all power in the room and us leaving the room for over an hour - unfortunately that didn't work. There was already a fan in there so we believe it was a known issue. It was a very uncomfortable night made worse by a lopsided bed and a cockroach in the other room. We were offered a partial refund on the night but after numerous follow ups, still have not received any compensation. All in all, a negative experience. The little positives of the place have just been marred by poor service recovery.

We had no hot water. Bed was rock hard. So uncomfortable. There was a dead cockroach on the floor inside the entrance. The office was unattended within office hours. I’d stay clear of this crappy old hotel in the future.

It was not a great experience the rooms were tiny there was no toilet paper and there was no reception person on so if you need help you can't get it plus the beds were small and uncomfortable

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the service wasn't entirely bad, the amenities in the room were an absolute nightmare. First, the shower was leaking constantly, day and night. Even when I was lying in bed, I could hear the water dripping, which kept me awake all night. This alone made it impossible to relax during my stay. Next, the tap in the bathroom made a loud, screeching noise every time I used it, even for something as simple as brushing my teeth. It was extremely irritating and really added to the discomfort. The general condition of the room was appalling. Several sockets on the walls were hanging off, and the place was generally filthy, as if it hadn’t been cleaned at all. This is supposed to be the Superior Queen Seaview room, which was quite expensive, but it felt far from superior. The spa, which was supposed to be one of the highlights of the room, was out of order, which was a huge letdown. The view from the room was also terrible—what should have been a beautiful seaview was instead a road. Even on a sunny morning, the view was disappointing. To make matters worse, basic amenities were missing. There were no extra pillows available, no iron in the room (which I needed to use last night), and calling for assistance would have incurred a big fee. It was a huge letdown from start to finish. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. The combination of poor amenities, lack of cleanliness, and disappointing view made for a very unpleasant experience.

The place is really nice and really feels like home. It is cold their though. We had a late booking, so the staff cooperatively gave us the information we required for the booking. It was annoying that the staff weren't there in the reception when we needed something. It was early in the morning, but still. The rooms were okay, not like a royal palace though. There were random noise and nuisances at night when we slept and random bugs skittering across the floor.

This is a clean, very well located motel that is a solid choice for someone making a trip to Wollongong and is looking for clean, comfy and convenient accomodations. There are obvious signs of repairs having been conducted, and notes indicating how to use hot water and other facilities, so there is work being done to maintain and improve the guest experience.

Room 6 is an interconnecting room and lots of noise comes through the door. Room is small and cramped. Bright lights outside the window makes sleeping difficult. Carpet thread bear. Shower curtain mouldy. Staff were pleasant but not a good place to stay I'm sorry to say
