Our most favourite beach in all the tours across dubrovnik, split and zadar. Its a completely sandy beach with shallow waters with little waves since it is a cove. You could even see the sand ripples in water. If you are for a more adventurous type, you could explore near the stony area at both edges and you would find a lot of seagrass bed and some reefs. Be mindful of the sea urchins hiding in the reefs, would defo recommend bring your water shoes if you are exploring that area.

We spent a lovely afternoon at this beach. The water stayed comfortably warm throughout the day, even when the sun dipped behind the clouds, and the setting itself is picturesque. Getting there is easier than some drivers would have you believe. We took the first stairway down from the road—about a 400-metre walk—and reached the sand in a few minutes. A driver tried to convince us the beach was 2 km away and wanted €3 for a one-way lift. Unless you are exhausted or have mobility concerns, skip the ride and enjoy the short stroll instead. Chairs and umbrellas are available, but they belong to the on-site bar and come with a rental fee. A steady breeze means umbrellas occasionally topple over. When the staff are not on smoke breaks or chatting with friends, they do come by to secure fallen shades and offer a hand. Additionally, they do not offer a public washroom. Overall, it is a charming spot with warm water and easy access, but be prepared to walk and budget extra if you want a lounger.

With many boat trips they bring you here to stay 1.5 hours, You can then use the beach beds for free if you order something to drink this costs 6 euros for a coke and 16 euros for a cocktail, so very expensive. The beach is beautiful and nice warm water because it is shallow and it is a sandy beach no stones

The best beach in Dubrovnik. Nice, hot sandy beach, surrounded by beautiful hills. You can take a ferry to the island and catch a caddy ride to the beach, or if you book a private boat trip, they bring you close to shore and then you can jump off and swim/walk to shore. Good drinks from bars on the beach, plus a gorgeous restaurant up on the hill on the right side.

Visited this beach as part of a trip and spent about just under 2 hours here . It's a beautiful beach in a little cove . You can use some of the sunbeds if you buy drinks or food from one of the bars on the beach. The sea is lovely and very shallow for quite a bit .

Beach Šunj is a beautiful cove with soft sand, shallow warm water, and stunning scenery — perfect for swimming and relaxing. It’s just a 400-meter walk from the road, so the €3 one-way buggy isn’t really needed unless you have mobility issues. Sunbeds are available through the beach bars for around €10, even if you buy drinks, which felt a bit pricey. There’s a public toilet and changing area at the entrance of Beach Bar Šunj, and an open shower for €1 (about 30 seconds to 1 minute). Overall, a great spot to spend a few hours, just be ready for a short walk and some extra cost if you want a sunbed.

The beach is very beautiful and from the stairs you get a lovely view. But unfortunately the beach is overcrowded with tourists. There are many bars with loud music, the sunbeds and umbrellas are packed too close together, and worst of all, if you look at the sand you can see how polluted the beach is, FULL of trash. I think someone should regulate tourism in this area, because it’s a shame to see such a beautiful beach covered in garbage. If you’re looking for a quiet beach, this is not the place for you.

The beach itself is beautiful with soft sand. However, the bars/restaurants have occupied most of the beach with their sun beds and sun shades, and charge you a lot for them (10€ for one bed). The scenery looks fabulous.
