Beachfront Bicheno Hotel

Great for a one night stay. Central location, very helpful staff and clean and modern rooms. The TV is set up with all of the streaming platforms which made everything easy. The shower could do with an upgrade, but it wasn’t unpleasant.

This place has great rooms, comfortable beds and massive in room TV. Our room was a standard, loved the room, however, had a shower over the bath. Absolutely made a huge mess in the bath room. Even though we put down a mat and towel. Almost caused a slip. Not a fan of showers over a bath. (Personal choice) |Is connected to a hotel that has good service and good food. |All round great stay.

Called in there on a Sunday afternoon..got a very high price of $250. For a very average room.. got a two bedroom cabin within 100 metres away for $150. ... when you get on line the same little room is $125.. it pays to look around.. if she was looking after my investment I know what I would do.. 😏

A lovely little room for one night stay, location is ideal - we were able to walk to Bicheno Penguin Tours which was really convenient. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the comfort of the air-conditioner as it was quite a cold night.

The room was very spacious with an extremely comfortable king size bed , 2 seater lounge,table with 3 chairs, bar fridge & cabinet with tea/coffee making facilities ||The bathroom had a large shower, hot water and lovely towels and products, great shower pressure!||The staff both in the bistro and room staff couldn’t be more helpful offering us a toaster but then brought plates and cutlery as well. Certainly went above and beyond our expectations!!||We used the bbq to cook breakfast and the handy man cleaned it for us to use as it was a bit dusty.||We ate in the bistro one night and the meals were reasonably priced and meat was tender and tasty.

Went for dinner so can't comment on the rooms. Food was good - mixed grill and a beef and guinness pie. Beer selection ok but nothing outstanding.

Excellent one night stay on our road trip around Tasmania. The rooms were basic, but very clean, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable - including the pillows. Overall it was nice and quiet overnight and we had a good rest. We were travelling with another couple and they kindly organised for us to be next door to each other. Walking distance to places to eat - everything you need for a 1 night stop really

I booked and prepaid for accommodation. On arrival staff insisted on the need to preaproved credit card swipe, I explained my card had been cancelled due to fraudulent transaction, and I didn't have any other card. Staff would not release room until I provided credit card. I request staff find someone in management to sort it out. We were then given a room that was not suitable for our needs as we had an elderly lady travelling. Very disappointing 😞

The only hotel in Bicheno so the prices are a little steep for a pub. However the meals are a good size and reflect the nature of the village. The seafood chowder was very filling with a great deal of seafood items... no pretend crab meat mixture. There is plenty of room in the dining room and there is the capability of having a large group meet there for lunch or dinner. There is enclosed outside seating as well. The hotel overlooks the quiet beach and the sandstone rocks. There is a nice atmosphere here. The barmaid was most helpful and had a lovely sense of humour.

If I could give 0 starts I would! Terrible customer service. We ordered and paid for our wine and meals and were then told they didn't have either. The meal I wanted instead was $2 more and they refused to let me pay the price of the original meal that I had ordered and paid for. The server was so aggressive and rude to us about it as well, turns out she was the manager even though she told us there was no manager on site. I'm a local, I will never come back. I work in an industry where people ask where to eat in bicheno, I will happily tell visitors to never come here.
