I was having problems with a MacBook I bought at Beach Mac. It kept crashing. I brought it in and got it back with the info there was nothing wrong with it, irregardless of the 24 pages and more of permission errors that appeared in disc doctor. Brought it in again with a hard copy of the error list and when I picked it up, I was told the problem "whatever it was", was fixed. When I got home, I ran disk doctor. there were still pages and pages of errors. Knowing the laptop was going to crash again, I decided to record the next crash so they could see what I was seeing. I didn't have to wait long. I brought the laptop in again, this time with video proof of the sequence of events that led to the repeating crashes. After I paid yet again for the "repair", I opened my laptop at home to find a note from the repair person that I assume was supposed to be removed by the manager before the MacBook was returned. The repair guy claimed once again there was nothing wrong, further, that I was crazy in language that was both homophobic and condescending.
I don't know who was worse, the repair person, or the owner of the store who did nothing but stare at me blankly when I showed him the note left by the repair guy.
This all happened a few years ago but I think it's fair to write the review now. Unless the store is under new management, and by the sounds of the other reviews, it ain't, they deserve every raspberry they get.
