Hotel is located on the main street but we didn't hear any street noise at all (or we simply passed out). It takes 2 minutes on foot to the beach so it's great that you don't have to find parking, and one can go back to the room to clean up as there's no shower on the beach. We weren't told nor explored the option, but it seems like the hotel has some beach umbrella and chairs available for guests to bring to the beach. Besides the location, the lazy river is the other selling point! The warm water river is very lazy indeed so you still need to burn minimum calories to drift on the tube, which is a good thing in my book. At night they play movies so everyone can have a blast in or out of the water. They also have a little sand box and corn holes as entertainment. The hot breakfast was great as well. The room was basic and clean. Bathroom is on the small side. It seems like all rooms have fridge and our room doesn't have microwave (there's one in lobby). At check-in we were told there's no housekeeping during our 3 night stay. While I don't need my bed to be made every day, it is a small inconvenience to get fresh towels from lobby, especially when we run through so many as we are on the beach! BTW, there's a broom and dustpan set in the room so we can sweep the sand off the floor. Despite the towel situation, I think the hotel offers great value for the price and I would consider staying there again if I'm in that area.

We came over for the air show for a night and have a magnificent time. Carrie at the front desk was exceptionally friendly as were entire staff from housekeeping, maintenance, security etc. Hotel was clean, rooms were very nice and lazy river was very relaxing. It's definitely designed for kids, but as an adult only trip , it was still very enjoyable. Parking was easy and ample. Breakfast buffet was good, better than most free buffets. Will definitely be back.

We just needed one night at a hotel to rest, and I decided to come here. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with so much kindness from the sweet lady at the front desk. We got our complimentary drinks (which were SO good) and explored. The pool is so cute, they play movies on it at night. The room was very clean, kind of dated but honestly didn’t mind because we weren’t in the room much. The beds are comfy though & the breakfast is super good! Just the overall location/friendliness is enough to make us come back. This was our first time in Cocoa Beach and we had an amazing time and Beachside definitely exceeded our expectations.🤩

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely lovely! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The hotel itself was beautiful, and the lazy river was such a unique and relaxing feature that really stood out. We also enjoyed the variety of dining options available on-site, each offering something a little different and fun. But the real standout? Breakfast. It was AMAZING. So fresh, delicious, and well-stocked—truly one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. Honestly, the breakfast alone would be enough reason for us to book another stay. Highly recommend!

We stayed for a girls weekend. 4 of us in our 50's. It was a wonderful experience. The location is walkable to great food options. The beach is a block away, a great sunrise. The breakfast has many options. The lazy river gets a bit busy, but, it is relaxing. There are movies of an evening and DJ in the afternoon. Ms. LOU will give you recommendations when you go to the desk.

Minor issue with check in, we went into our room and somebody else was already in the room. It did take a while to resolve but they upgraded us to a better view and we were given 60$ in vouchers to use at the bar/grill. Customer service is amazing. Memorized our names which gives a more personal feel. We lost our vouchers and they replaced them. Breakfast was good. Everything from the bar/grill was delicious. Hotel room was clean and accommodated 6 of us. Wonderful experience overall.

We stayed here for a night before leaving for our cruise the following day. From the minute we walked in we had amazing service. Jennifer at the front desk was juggling multiple things while being friendly and still keeping a big smile on her face! We were pleasantly surprised by our upgrade to a beach front king suite. The suite was recently remodeled and super cozy! The lazy river and bar alongside it made for the perfect way to spend our afternoon before departing the next day. The location was perfectly situated for our needs, being only 20 minutes from the port. It is also walkable to a few bars, restaurants, and a grocery store across the way! We will certainly return again.

Google
We had an excellent stay at Beachside Hotel & Suites. While it isn't a luxury resort, the pool was nice, the beach was close and the staff was more than accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and would be perfect for families with small children. The pool, lazy river, outdoor sand area and outdoor games(cornhole etc.) were very nice. The bar was reasonably priced and my drink was good. I was blown away by the quality of the free breakfast provided. This hotel isn't coasting on their name and it shows. I would rather stay here than the big name hotels.

Yelp
Stayed here two nights during 4th of July weekend. Things I loved: proximity to the beach, lazy river, free breakfast. This is a pretty family friendly resort, so be mindful of that when you visit the pool and go in for breakfast. I didn't get the chance to hear any of the DJs by the pool due to weather and other plans I had. Rooms felt priced a bit high for me for what we received, but I understand it was a holiday weekend.

Yelp
We were so excited to see that Beachside Hotel and Suites had been "updated" when we arrived in Cocoa Beach for our two day trip to visit my mother-in-law... We were already booked to stay at the Sheraton next-door, which is outdated and worn. So, when we noticed that the Beachside Hotel and Suites had been updated to a retro/boutique hotel, we quickly looked to see if we could book it for our second night . We were pleasantly surprised that we could book it for the same price with more amenities (free beach chairs, better pool, and an actual outdoor area). This was a perfect opportunity to check out BHS for future visits and for my sister-in-law's family when they visit. We loved how they have leaned in to the retro/boutique hotel, vibe. (Be sure to read the review in it's entirety or you will think it is completely positive). Upon arrival, you are greeted with the cute retro sign at the entry and the lobby is bright and cheerful. The staff was plentyfyl, welcoming, and ever present throughout the property. The pool is not huge, but has a fun little lazy river going through it with lots of big yellow tubes for floating , there is a ton of lounge chairs with bright yellow umbrellas and it is extremely well maintained. The towels are thin and dinky (barely larger than a hand towel). Our entire visit, we saw staff scurrying around and picking up and keeping the property tidy and well-maintained. HOWEVER , the updates in the physical room are "lipstick on a pig. ". The furniture and lighting in the room is cute and retro and they've added convenient hooks and benches. The laminate flooring is so much better than gross old carpet at the Sheraton. But, the creature comforts of a good bed and nice bathroom with nice bathroom towels is where they have not updated and therefore I don't know that we'd ever stay at BHS again or recommend it to someone we know. The bathroom (at least in our room) has not been touched as part of the update and it was disgusting. Extremely old tile covered with mold, old dirt and a smell I couldn't identify, made me only want to get in and out of the bathroom as quickly as possible. In addition, there was remnants of the previous guest left in the shower. In addition, the mattress was squeaky and uncomfortable. (Everytime one of us moved, the other person would wake up), so it appears new mattresses were also not part of the update, nor the bedding and pillows which were old and dingy (with the acception of the top coverlet that you see in the website pictures (I always look for crisp bedding when judging a place online), so they fooled me with the pics online. In addition, when I initially folded back the covers, there was a huge brown hair. Thankfully, we had two beds, so chose to sleep in the second bed. The outside is well maintained and a fun vibe and the atmosphere feels like an inexpensive resort. We enjoyed a few hours by the pool in the late afternoon and after dinner we drank wine while sitting in colorful Adirondack chairs in the faux beach area and then this morning sat outside to drink our coffee, so there were parts of our stay (outside of the room) that were very pleasant. We did not visit their beach access but apparently chairs and umbrellas are complimentary which is a huge perk. In addition, there was a a movie screen at the pool and they played an evening movie for families, there were lots of fun games on a turfed area, they had a fun little beach bar by the pool and lots of seating throughout the property. They are clearly trying to turn around an old, previously completely outdated property, but based on what we experienced in our physical room, they have fallen short in some of the most important areas. All of the positives make it extremely disappointing that the negatives are such important things, because we really, really wanted to like it and based on what was online, were convinced we would. I'm really hoping that there is a plan to "finish" the update and they haven't stopped short of clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. The

Yelp
First, all of the staff were very friendly and eager to help. The room we had was poolside. We arrived to a very cool (temperature) room which was very appreciated since it was 90 degrees outside. The room is decorated retro, very cute. We were only there for two days but fit a longer stay I'm not sure I would stay here. It's an older place and has been renovated but there's no closet, just a rack on the wall, and the bathroom is small with very little counter space. The pool and lazy river was great after a few hours at the beach. All in all, not a bad stay.

Yelp
Nice Staff The lazy river pool was wonderful location is very good . Breakfast was yummy. Very family oriented. The rooms were nice & clean. It's an older hotel well kept though the bathrooms are dated & in need of being renovated.

Yelp
Overall, a fair experience for the 2 nights we stayed. It's in a great location just a few minutes walk from the beach, and the kids enjoyed the pool immensely! They have food and drinks you can purchase on site, but we only opted for the included breakfast, which was predictably mediocre. Huge vat of Nutella was unexpected. The room itself is setup as a motel and really ought to be a cheaper price. Ours was clean enough, though the bathroom does need a full remodel. Shower was lacking in pressure but got the job done as far as temperature. Would've liked a handheld shower at that. There are many rooms that span the entire campus, including rooms upstairs, but ours in particular was like right next to the pool area and so lacking in privacy unless you pull the curtain the entire time. To my surprise, it was mostly quiet, with the exception of an inexplicable two hours on Friday evening when the hotel purposely ran a DJ out by the pool, which no one cared about and several actually complained. Aside of that, there was also a random movie they ran on the screen poolside that they decided to bump the bass up for that disturbed the quiet in my room as well. If not for all that, might've given 4 stars because the bed was pretty comfy. If management is reading this (and it seems they do check reviews), people go to hotels to rest. Stop being the ones to make noise!

Yelp
Monica and Andres were such good bartenders , they made good drinks and had excellent communication. They were also very friendly! They make a customer feel like they're the only one in the location. So I wanna thank you for hiring these two individuals they did a great job. I'll be coming back again. Just to see them both. Thank you. We came from Cleveland and I'm sure I haven't seen this kind of customer service in a long time.

Yelp
We just had a fantastic 4 day girls weekend. It has slightly updated decor, but overall the property is well maintained. We love the lazy river. The staff was very accommodating and gracious. Will return for another visit!!!

Lawrence B.

Yelp
I had a reservation for 3 nights pool side. we were told they had a suite for us on the 3rd floor but elevator was broken . when we said it was supposed to be pool side she agreed and started looking. could not find any rooms so they put us on the 1st floor facing the street. as we walked to the pool there must have been 20 poolside rooms unoccupied. we asked about them but were told people were coming. what about us. We will never come back. There are much better and nicer places to stay.

Yelp
Overall a great experience! A few hicups out of anyones control. We stayed on the 6th floor. Balcony with a great view! A few free things. Free breakfast, free bike rental and chairs and umbrella for the beach which is a 5 minute walk. Large room and a nice lazy river. Front desk was quick and easy. Amy was amazing! High five to her. Free book rental was good also. We walked to a speakeasy which was a kava and coffee bar. (Non alcoholic spot) Again 10 minutes away. Amazing location! Win dixie and publix within walking distance! The pier is only 1 mile away. For the price we absolutely will return the day before our next cruise!

Yelp
Black mold in the bathrooms. Our large family booked three different rooms. All three had black mold in the bathroom and the musty smell was terrible.

Yelp
Karrie made it a 12/10 best hotel I've stayed on vacation! She grave us extra hospitality above and beyond!

Yelp
What a diamond in the reef! Walking distance to the beach but why leave when you have a lazy pool river right here! outdoor bar, live music, movies for the pool people, restaurant,, plenty of outdoor seating. we will be back to stay a few days..

Yelp
Run, do not walk, from this hotel! Not worth the money that you will pay! This is more of an old motel than a hotel. It claims to be newly renovated but the only area that looked renovated was the pool area and front desk area. The bathrooms need a complete overhaul! The employees were friendly until we had problems. Absolutely horrible customer service. First, my husband's clothing was stolen. He left a very special hoodie and a pair of jeans by mistake when we checked out the first night (we were returning a week later from a cruise). We called the hotel 2 hours after we checked out and the individual we spoke to put us on hold and went to look for the clothing. When she got back on the phone several minutes later, she told us that she had found them and would hold on to them until we returned the following Saturday. They would be waiting for us with our name on them. Fast forward a week, we arrive to check in for the night and immediately ask for the clothes. No one knew a thing about it. Nothing was in lost and found and no one remembered talking to us. We waited for the next shift to come on duty and we inquired again and this gentleman was a little bit more helpful and concerned about where the clothing went. However, no clothes. Quite obviously, their employees stole them! But no one would admit that. Obviously, if we hadn't been told they had them and would hold them for us, we would have taken the blame for forgetting them, but they assured us they had them and would be there when we returned. The next day when we started the shower and the bathroom steamed up, flying gnats infested the bathroom coming out of the vent (hundreds of them). Unfortunately, we did not take the pictures until most of them were killed (Our first thought was to get rid of them since they were getting in our clothes). When we were checking out (again inquiring about our stolen clothes), we told them about the bugs and told them that between the stolen clothes and the flying bugs, we wanted some sort of compensation. The manager told us that we must have had the door open that's why we had the bugs! Why would we have the door open while showering and why would that even matter when they were coming out of the vent In the bathroom! He told us that he could not compensate us until the room was looked at even after we showed him the pictures! we received no compensation and no apology for either the bugs or the missing clothes! There were other things wrong with this hotel (mold, dirt and noisy if you were by the pool), but this review is long enough! As we were walking around Cocoa Beach, there were many other hotels that looked much nicer and were probably the same price if not cheaper than this bug infested "hotel."

Yelp
Monica at the Duck Dive at the hotel is awesome. she was slammed due to her server going home but monica kept a smile on her face while tending to customers non stop. she took orders, made drinks, delivered food and was pleasant the entire time. you are lucky to have an employee who cares.

Yelp
Friendly staff. The pool and lazy river are new and nice and open until 11 p.m. Going for a swim at night in the warm water is great. Solid breakfast buffet. Great proximity to the beach. The rooms are pretty disappointing, though. The bathrooms are especially old and underwhelming. No toiletries. Hard to spend all day in the water and not have any conditioner in the room. Overall we were fine but we moved up the street to a hotel with MUCH nicer rooms for the same price for the second half of our vacation. The difference was very noticeable, and we wished we had been in the posh rooms all week for that price. Bottom line: I was drawn in by the cute and colorful pictures online, but essentially it's the courtyard and pool that's remodeled and the rooms still feel very old and basic.

Yelp
I ended up choosing Beachide because we were doing a quick vacay in Cocoa beach and wanted a nice fun hotel for the girls trip and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for the room, maybe because it was a holiday weekend but rooms were outrageous like $400 a night! For cocoa beach!? I ended up booking here because it was like $300 for the night, it looked pretty and it came with breakfast! Pros: -The staff were all great! helpful and sweet, they let us check in early, and answered any questions we had! -The pool area! Wonderful! It's a lazy river pool in the middle of the property with a restaurant/ bar serving up pina coladas and fruity mamas so you can enjoy in the sun by the pool, even have a man made beach area with toys for kids to play with! This was Money well spend to make this pool area! - Free Breakfast, yum! it was a nice big spread with all the usuals, waffles, bagels, eggs, sausage, great way to start the day! - great location, can walk to multiple things, beach, putt putt next door, Ron John surf shop right next door - free bike rentals! Cons: -oh Lordy the rooms need work, particularly the bathrooms, ours was yuck! it was older and kinda mildew smell, they would do good to renovate the bathrooms. -we ordered some food from their regular menu and it was just ok, wouldn't get again All in all we enjoyed our time here!!

Yelp
My husband and I were looking for a nice place to stay in Cocoa Beach for a few nights and we found Beachside Hotel and Suites when searching on the Hotel Tonight website. It is right on Atlantic Avenue next to Ron Jon Surf Shop and about 1 1/2 blocks west of the beach. The lobby is cute, modern, and clean with a tiny gift area, and lots of seating. (Couches, chairs, and high tops). The decor is fresh and colorful, with a mix of beachy stuff and decor that celebrates being on the space coast. (Like an astronaut in the lobby.) The hotel seems like an older style with just 2 floors, outside entry to rooms & a pool in the middle of all the buildings. The rooms are remodeled with bright colors, and the suites have a wet bar, small fridge, microwave, and counter seating area. There were 2 comfy beds in our room.......no closet, but dresser space and some hooks on the wall where you could hang a few things. There was a pool with a tiny sandy beach area and a small lazy river. We never went to the pool because it rained, but we did make it to the beach which was about 1 1/2 blocks away. They had a lot of recreational equipment you could check out which was really nice! We borrowed 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, and towels and what was super cute is that they gave us a little wagon to transport all the supplies. We also rented bicycles on 2 occasions and rode around the neighborhood. They came with locks so we were able to stop and shop, sightsee, and even grab a drink. Another bonus was the breakfast buffet! It was really, really good with a waffle station & toppings, many hot items, cold items, baked goods, cereals , and even fresh fruit. There was lots of seating available for breakfast. We really enjoyed our 2 days/nights at Beachside Hotel & Suites. Great place to stay and great location!

Yelp
was a guest there with 7 other family members on January 18- 19 2025 I paid this hotel for shuttle service for 8 on January 19 2025 to. MSC port for a week long cruise. The shuttle driver not only was speaking to friends on phone the whole time we were passengers but he also did not allow anyone to get out at their stop to personally get their luggage before leaving the bus. He also did not wait to be sure we had all our luggage before leaving. when we got out we were missing a carry on luggage containing every piece of clothing for my husband to wear for the week. he had only the clothes on his back literally. we immediately contacted them before cruise took off to tell them and again called them from the ship the next day. they blew us off. When I got home I called the hotel January 27 and 28 ...before reviewing...to give them a chance to to try to locate our missing piece and take responsibility for our loss. they told me to wait a week to give them a chance to locate unclaimed luggage and they would call me up.. Well it's been over a week..no call and no further response...thus this review. imagine being on a week vacation with little opportunity to buy most of the lost clothing!! This this negative review as they made no effort to locate a carry on luggage nor to take responsibility for their driver's inappropriate actions and irresponsibility in losing our luggage So what would have been a five star is most definitely a negative one star as I gave them opportunity to fix the mess they made and they did not care to do.

Yelp
Monica has a such a awesome bartender! She is amazing come see her for all your drink and food needs!

Yelp
What an awesome hotel! From the moment I stepped through the doors, I felt welcome and part of the Florida vacation experience. The decor of this hotel is inviting and bright and although it is technically an average Beach Hotel, there was just something special about it. I was able to stay in the tower and the rooms were an interesting layout, but once I got settled I realized I really liked it. I was staying with a friend, and the fact that the bathroom was in the middle of the room and divided each side, it was very convenient for us to get privacy when we needed it. In addition, the room was very clean and the bedding was fresh and not worn. The hotel is only about a block from the beach and an easy three minute walk at best. There are several good restaurants in the vicinity that you can walk to as well as their breakfast buffet. I'm not a breakfast buffet fan, but from the looks of it it looked like more than enough for anyone to have for breakfast. It was too chilly for us to use the pool, but it looked fabulous and even has a lazy river for those that like to just float and tan. I would highly recommend this hotel if you were planning to stay in the Cocoa Beach area.

John M.

Yelp
Great place to stay, and very friendly staff. Loved our week there we would come back again.

Yelp
So far outstanding!!! We were supposed to check in today at 3pm. We were too eager and arrived this morning at 4am. The front desk staff apologized and said they were already booked. She did however give us a parking pass to park on property and said that breakfast was at 7am and that we were free to come And eat and chill at the pool until our room was ready. Above and beyond what she should have done. She could have easily said to return at check-in time. Very impressed this far!!! Breakfast was amazing and the grounds are exquisite and super clean. Staff is super friendly and attentive!! This will be our getaway place!!! Prices are super fair and worth it!! Half a block from the beach!!! Can't beat it!! Bikes, towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts!!! All free from the hotel!!

Yelp
We wound up here after a series of unfortunate events at another hotel but we're so glad we did. Lue at the front desk is an absolute gem! She was so welcoming - making us truly feel like lifelong friends and not just another tourist couple passing through. She also has phenomenal restaurant recommendations! I cannot forget to mention the pool. It's a lazy river! Not something I've seen at many hotels especially one of this size. It's open 9a-11p and since it's heated you really can take full advantage of it. The breakfast buffet is also a great benefit. I thoroughly enjoyed making my own fresh waffles every morning. Brandi was so pleasant and truly on the ball - she started our morning off right every day we were there. Actually all the attendants were great. One of the other employees went above and beyond to help a mother with two little ones get situated with everything they could need. Then consistently checked on them to see if there was anything else she could get them so that mom could relax and enjoy her breakfast with the kids. It was refreshing to see. Complete transparency...if you're looking for a fancy 4 star hotel this isn't it. However, it has such a great vibe as an updated retro style hotel. It's clean and has a variety of amenities including beach gear and bikes for rent, a beach area poolside with toys for the kids and an on site bar for beverages and light snacks. I will admit the menu offerings at the bar were lacking and similar in quality to those you'd find at your local bowling alley but the drinks were great! The employees and customer service, were leaps and bounds above the fancy, schmancy hotel we unfortunately spent the first 3 days of our vacation at. So much so that we have vowed to come back for at least a few days whenever we're back in the area. Definitely check it out if you're visiting the area and don't forget to look out for Lue & Brandi!

Carter R.

Yelp
DO NOT COME HERE Their are roaches, bedbugs, and mold if you don't like inn's the beachside hotel is actually the bones of comfort inn. I would never recommend anyone going to the beachside hotel but their is a lazy River

Yelp
Great hotel and very affordable! Would stay there again. Short walk to the beach and if you rather just chill at the hotel you can enjoy chilling in their lazy river. We spent a lot of time in there. The staff is friendly and you don't have to walk too far for food and/or drinks. They have a bar and small restaurant there. Try the Beef Nachos, YUM!!

Yelp
Enjoyed it so much I came back again. 2nd time was even better than the first time. Ms. Lue & staff was very helpful and fulfilled all of our accommodations. I will most definitely be coming back. Thank You For All Your Help, My 3 Year Old Grandson Had The Best Birthday Ever!

Yelp
Both beds had mold in it. also the bathroom had mold and the shower was slimy.

Yelp
Such a beautiful place. Clean, friendly and accommodating staff. Our experience was amazing stayed an extra day after our cruise and they made it a perfect ending to vacation. Will definitely be back!! Thank you beachside inn staff.

Yelp
This place was a perfect start to our vacation. Affordable, clean, and comfortable rooms. A beautiful lazy river style pool. Extremely courteous staff. The duck dive bar on site has great food. Huge bonus is the cruise parking amenity. Big thanks to Lou who checked us in and gave us a map with detailed directions to all the local hot spots!

Quella R.

Yelp
This is a very cute resort hotel with many activities for all ages. The owners have done a good job cleaning up an old motel. With the beach just a couple blocks away, it's a good location. Cons: * Loud, party atmosphere * Thin door between our room and the room adjacent. Not only did we hear the loud voices arriving to their room at 1 in the morning, we also heard the blow dryer at that time. * Upon arrival, the doors between our two rooms were not locked.

Dee C.

Yelp
I did not receive a $20 voucher as promised. The hotel wasn't willing to credit me $20 for the early check-in as a resolve. My keys were programmed for one night instead of three nights. I wasn't aware of their beach amenities until I checked out. Disappointed

Yelp
So upon booking this hotel And "suites" seems to look like a nostalgic beach summer vibe . And it does .. the lobby and pool and patio Area are very retro cool , looks clean and up to date with bright colors . However I did run into Some issues ... After checking in I had issues with the room cards not Once but twice they failed to work. That was about 30 minutes of our time wasted . The room itself was definitely smaller than how it looked online. It smelled musty and almost a urine smell that I couldn't get over .. the a/c took a while to cool the room and I mean about half a day to get it to feel cool and yet the smell still lingered . The kitchen was nothing crazy it had a microwave, small burner , fridge/freezer and sink . Only dish soap was provided no sponge , no utensils . The coffee -I'm sorry I'm not picky, but I just couldn't drink it . They had a packet with solid creamer (yuck) and plain sugar but no stirrer . So come prepared I brought a toaster oven , a pan , spatula and paper plates . The bathroom looked nothing like the photos displayed it was so tiny and the counter space was remotely small not enough room to lay out your toiletries . The toilet was very small and the toilet paper was really far in front of the toilet . On the plus side the shower temperature was good , and beds were comfy I had a good nights sleep . However, another disappointment- the floors omg had so much sand on them .. I wore sandals and can feel Myself slipping and sliding it was awful . It seems housekeeping could've gotten a broom to sweep all this out and yet failed to . Note - there are also no closets just hanging posts on the walls to hang your stuff . The pool is definitely more of a small lazy river and small little pool wading area . There was a lot of people during the holiday weekend and was a bit rowdy . They do have a nice patio setup with a pretend beach /sand area . I feel if they would've renovated the rooms to look like the pool area the hotel would look a lot more reformed . The positives are that it is close to all the essentials .. Winn Dixie across the street, walking distance to the beach , and Ron Jon's surf shop . Cute pool patio area with retro beach vibes . However a lot of improvement is needed - they should be more transparent as I do not feel this fits into a hotel and suites category; it is more like a motel with a nice , quaint pool area . Very disappointed on the lack of care the room had .. and for $157 a night I would not expect any details to have gone unnoticed like they did during our stay . I wouldn't expect to pay more than $ 120 a night for the type of category this hotel fits .

Yelp
In April of 2023 we reserved and paid for a Two Queen Suite that can accommodate up to six people for a stay in February 2024. It had two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. There were four of us traveling, including two adult-sized teenagers, and we wanted everyone to have plenty of space. We checked in around midnight after a long day of travel and just wanted to sleep. Upon entering our room, we found that we only had two full beds and no sofa. We then headed back to the front desk to ask for the correct room since this must have been some kind of mistake. We were told by the desk clerk that they were full, and the manager moved some people around. That apparently included bumping us inexplicably from the room we had paid for to a room that did not comfortably fit all of us. After telling us that the manager had done this, the clerk then tried to blame Expedia, which made no sense and was a lame attempt at damage control. Since the place was fully booked, all they could offer us for our trouble was a $20 voucher for local merchants. Unless that voucher opens up to a rollaway bed, it's absolutely no consolation. My son ended up sleeping on the floor. This might be the worst customer service I have ever received. Additionally, the room was dark and dreary (unlike the bright, colorful pictures on the website), the bathroom wasn't clean, the outlets bolted to the nightstand were rusted and not fully functional, and anything we plugged into the wall outlet just fell out. It was an overall terrible experience.

Yelp
Definitely a disappointment. Paid 520 for one night including park and pass for 5 day cruise with carnival. Was hit with 3 different state taxes county taxes and port taxes. Upgraded to a ocean view and definitely no ocean view in site. The room was old and dated. Shower and bathroom could use a total makeover. The price was not worth what we paid for one night. Also the overflow parking was not very convenient. I pretty much paid Embassy hotel prices for a super 8 motel stay. Do not pay over 200 a night for this place. The rooms are dated and feels more like a cheap motel. Breakfast was decent. But still not worth the price for one night. Wish i could have gotten my money back The only good thing was the shuttle to the port very convenient and the pickup was just as flawless. Message to this MOTEL. Stop using the fact that your near the port as a selling point to overcharge people. The 3 different taxes on my bill was shameful. There is no way anyone should pay over 500 bucks for a double bed room with NO OCEAN VIEWS AND DATED ROOM for one night. Yes we used the shuttle pass but honestly your motel still overcharged and honestly have the same prices as Marriot! Would not recommend this place at all!

Yelp
I am a very unhappy traveler. After a flight cancelation, this hotel was inflexible in changing my check in dates and was unwilling to accommodate anything. All plans are turned upside down and now I'm out almost $300 for a 1 night stay so I could enjoy a nice evening at the coast while visiting from AZ. I can't believe how unsympathetic this all is!! This only made a bad situation worse.

Yelp
Cute hotel with a cute beachy vibe in a great location! Bright colors, rooms equipped with little kitchens, and such a great pool area! The staff was so friendly, everything was clean and appeared new. There was even entertainment like live music, bingo, trivia, karaoke, star gazing, mermaid swimming, and so much more outby the pool area. A full hot breakfast is included which was great for our two hungry boys. The bonus is that they are dog friendly! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I amend my review to thank management for working to address our concerns for future visitors and doing what they could to improve our stay.

Yelp
OMG Amazing! I will start with Jessica she is a super star. We booked a "snooze and cruise" with her. She was so wonderful. She helped us when our flight was delayed adjust our transportation. That was a phenomenal help beyond me

Yelp
Fun Hotel. My husband and I stayed here for a couple days, pre cruise stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Check in was so pleasant, the staff was so very friendly. The pool was so fun and refreshing, live music playing, he was very good and the lazy river was fun. The bar was great, drink prices was great not over priced at all very reasonable especially for a hotel. Breakfast was ok, Buffet style... typical eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, make your own waffles and pastries. The staff in breakfast room were very nice as well. it was nice that they also had computers with printers you can use for free, they also had bikes for use. Close to beach, shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place for couples and especially families... great sand bar kids can build sand castles... although It is showing it's age, the hotel is clean and fun we will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
A place where the staff is EXTREMELY friendly the roaches in the room was a complete turn off. While settling in for the night I talked about how nice Lou was & she definitely knew how to take care of us. She went above & beyond with helping us with transportation from the hotel to the cruise terminal. But the roaches? Never again. The 2 stars is for Lou & only Lou.

Yelp
Couldn't check in until 45 mins after time given. Room was adequate however, found blood on pillow from prior tenant, plumbing fixture was on the bathroom floor, and the lack of chlorine smell from the pool area leads me to believe not properly maintained for customers safety against bacteria. Management was understanding of issues, however defensive to there proper sanitization protocol. Stating "Just a oversight." Customer safety during this time isn't a oversight in my opinion. Canceled the rest of my stay, for a better commendations for the duration of my trip. A lot will need to be addressed prior me booking with them. Something positive, great location mins walk to the beach, and shopping.

Yelp
Great stay. Room was nice and clean. Had a refrigerator microwave and stove. The kids loved the lazy river and the breakfast was outstanding!

Yelp
Not a bad place but the pictures are *very* flattering - the rooms look quite "lived in", despite the recent renovations. Check in was good, people working here are friendly. We ended up leaving before our first night because we had no hot water. Also, our room had no shower curtain

Yelp
Overall this place was nice the pool was perfect. Perfect walking distance from beach great food and service at the duck bar. My only complaint is the rooms weren't the cleanest but wasn't the end of the world! Id still come back

Yelp
Stayed there this past weekend and not impressed at all. Lobby nice it was remodeled a few years ago. Kinda fakes you out. Rooms are old style with a new color design that seems to not be holding up to hood paint coming off head boards makes it feel trashy. Also not the cleanest. When the remodeled they must not have changed the beds. The worst I have ever had in any hotel I have ever stayed in almost took sheets off and the topper they had on it to look to see if it was just a board underneath. Staff was nice! The breakfast was nasty under cooked. I think that was the last straw for the price point a lot of better choices

Yelp
This was a great find- right next to Cocoa Beach and Ron Jon. The pool was AMAZING! The staff also managed to move us into a pool side suite with a balcony upon request. Everything was super clean, brand new, and the service was INCREDIBLE! One of the key staff members, Willie, bent over backwards to make our stay memorable, fun and perfect. We highly recommend this hotel if you are wanting the best Cocoa Beach experience possible. Family-friendly, free beach loaners-surf boards, boogie boards, umbrellas and more. Tubes for the pool, clean fresh towels, outstanding service!

Yelp
I've read a lot of customer service books in my time and clearly the lady at the front desk read every single one of them. She was the most helpful, generous and kind person that has ever worked at any hotel I have ever stayed at. I was just blown away by how amazing she was. The place itself was a gem among a sea of Chains. This place stood out in a very most amazing way. The breakfast is free and they give you free chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and a sand cart to put it all in. They think of everything for you. The pool was wonderful too. The staff beyond the front desk were also very polite, helpful and just outstanding. This was the only place we could afford, but I will now consider no place else than this hotel to consider at Cocoa Beach. The staff go out of their way to make sure you get what you want and we left very, very, happy. They made our little getaway worthwhile. I'm just so glad we stayed here and you will be too!!!
