Beachside Resort Whitianga

A very nice hotel with very friendly staff. |Bailey greeted you with a genuine smile. |I was so excited to be in the Coromandel with my family and she explained very nicely about the things to do including Cathedral cove which is a must visit. The room was spacious and very clean. I recommend the superior room with a spa. They have beach views. Will not hesitate to book again over Christmas.

Good location close to the beach and a 3 minute walk to restaurants. Room was tidy but NO AIR CONDITIONING especially having paid over $470 per night, you'd expect air-conditioning. It was uncomfortable heat during middle of summer! Fans provided were noisy and just blew warm air.

Great location. Very close to beach and few mins to town center, cafes and bars. Good size pool.

Good location, right next to the beach and main road. Rooms were not clean though and no air conditioning. There were fans in the rooms to cool off.

Really good spot. Apartment was massive, location unbeatable and very easy to check in and check out. Recommend it.

I stayed in one of the “Deluxe Studios”. The website photos are accurate. I’m not sure why it is called a studio as the bedroom was separate to the living area. It was very nice - clean, roomy. I believe renovated in the last year. Full sized fridge in the kitchen. Comfortable couch. Good wifi. There were screen blinds over the windows in the living area for privacy but at night they were basically transparent. The living area could do with curtains. (The bedroom had excellent curtains.) Close to the beach, shops and wharf. Very convenient for seeing the rest of the Coromandel Peninsula. I would recommend staying there, and would definitely stay there again.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Good size bathroom with a tub. Superb location, next to the beach and close to the town center. Has mini kitchenette, toaster, mini fridge, kettle, cutlery, complimentary teas. We enjoyed our stay.

Beachside Resort is such a beautieful Place. We enjoyed there a lot. The Apartment is very big and. The beds were super for a good sleep, not to hard, not too soft, just perfect. The bathroom was big and the whole was very clean. The Resort Manager Ms Jacqaueline Burt was very helpful and give us infos and tips for our stay. We wished we could stay longer. The location is great, just a 5 minutes stroll to the little port, restaurants and shops. Whitianga is such a lovely little town.
