BEAMS Shinjuku

July 2024 We enjoyed the creative and thoughtful window display. A great window shopping experience. Not cheap clothing but this was my first experience with BEAMS. Low expectations with the sales associates.

This store has 7 floors. It's got lots of high end fashion that's pricey. If you're looking for things on a budget, it's mostly on the first couple of floors like shirts and knick-knacks. For more Japan-exclusive products, I'd go nearby to the Adidas store where you can get Japanese character shirts.

One of the staff who is wearing eye glasses was very rude. I understand they can’t speak English well, but whenever I asked something, he just said ‘no’ ‘no’ It was worst experience in my entire Japan trip. I won’t go back this store.

The female staff with short hair is very kind. Thank you for helping me find the product I have wanted for a long time! 🥺🩷

It was worth visiting. Unlike other Beams locations, this one gave out a showroom vibe with lots of Japan-exclusive stuffs displayed. Fun to browse local designs and stuffs but perhaps not for shopping itself.

One of the better retail shops in the area. Shinjuku is typically pretty tacky but Beams is an amazing brand. Not surprised their store has unique boutique brands as well as some other well known ones. The space / floors itself are designed well

BEAMS has a great selection of clothing, but unfortunately it comes with the uncomfortable inconvenience of having to interact with terrible staff. At first I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, assuming that their cold indifference was the result of a language barrier - I speak terrible Japanese, after all - but the more time I spent in the store, the more my suspicions were correct. The staff act as though they’re too cool for school and are rude, and I felt unwelcome in the store. It’s a shame because I like the Beams brand, but there are so many other places to shop.

"A selection of Birkenstock" is not accurate. It's like three shoes only and they are of a non-traditional style.
