Bean Me Up is a true gem in Vagator – a peaceful, garden-style café that serves up wholesome, creative, and absolutely delicious vegan food. The entire place feels like a green sanctuary, tucked under mango and palm trees, making it perfect for a slow, relaxed brunch or dinner.
I started with a black coffee, which was clean and smooth – a great way to kick things off. I especially appreciated the small cookie that came with it, a thoughtful touch. The home-brewed kombucha was another highlight – sweet, tart, and with that satisfying tang at the back of your throat. Definitely something I’d come back for.
For mains, we tried a few dishes and loved them all:
Avocado toast: generously loaded with creamy guacamole, simple yet super satisfying.
Cheesy mushroom & spinach toast: absolutely melts in your mouth, fresh and flavorful.
Eggless omelette: unique and intriguing – light, fluffy, and a creative plant-based twist.
Pasta al Fredo: clean, comforting, and well-balanced in flavor without being too heavy.
What really stands out here is how clean, fresh, and thoughtful the food feels – everything is prepared with care, and you can taste the quality of ingredients. The staff is warm and friendly, and the overall vibe is laid-back, with a focus on conscious, sustainable living.
Yes, prices are slightly on the higher side, but the experience – from the serene ambiance to the well-executed food – makes it completely worth it.
If you’re in Vagator and looking for a place that blends great food, a beautiful setting, and mindful eating, Bean Me Up is worth a visit.
